    Espresso martini's

We were looking for a cocktail bar and kept passing up this spot so we finally stopped by. This is a decent sized cocktail bar with bar seating, low tables, and high top seating as well. It's very nice and moody inside with candles lit at each table. Service was quick and the bartenders were nice. I got an espresso martini and I will say that drink in particular was a little sweet but I definitely will go back. The can make any drink non-alcoholic or with CBD spirits.

Went to 17th Ward for the first time w/ some friends and we had a good time. The vibe is very chill but intimate at the same time- could be a nice date night spot. The bartending staff were super friendly and helpful which I appreciated! They have such a wide variety of fun cocktails to choose from, it seems like there's something for everyone. I tried the Milk and Honey cocktail which was fantastic. It is pretty light, creamy, and not overly sweet ( I also love Gin). My bf and friends also enjoyed each of the cocktails they tried. Would definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't!

What a cool new cocktail bar! I'm a big fan of a fancy cocktail, and this is right up that realm. I started with a milk and honey, which is similar to a gin version of a White Russian. It was swerved with wafer cookies and was so smooth! It was a bit sweet for my taste, but once the ice started to melt it really balanced out. I then had a cream city old fashion. What a great twist on a staple cocktail. It was blood orange based, and it was smooth. I really enjoyed it. My husband isn't as big of a fan as fancy cocktails, so he stuck to beer. I loved that they have a little bit of everything. The bartender was so sweet and as soon as we mentioned having dinner reservations, she made sure to keep checking in so we wouldn't be late. We got there right before happy hour ended, 5-7pm, which meant $2 off our drinks. We'll be back forsure.

Can't remember the name but it was a blueberry lemon drink

Finally got to check this spot out and they have a fabulous array of cocktails! I loved they Stay Salty and the Nitrotini. Our server was phenomenal, she made good recommendations and took really great care of us. We were celebrating a birthday and she made my friend feel very special! Will definitely be back to try more cocktails!

17th Ward is my new favorite cocktail joint. As a craft cocktail junkie, I have tried a number of the cocktails on the menu. And you know how you know it's good? Cuz I couldn't possibly pick a favorite! Each one was masterfully mixed, flavor profiles were perfection, and go down maybe slightly too easy ;). What makes it even better here is that every cocktail can be made NA or with THC. So many options for all preferences. I love it here, this is my new spot. They might get sick of seeing my face, but I sure will spend some time here drinking!

Finally had to chance to stop in for some cocktails and the Devil's Daquiri was both visually and tastefully appealing.

I had heard about the Tin Widow's holiday pop up being one of the best area, the hype was not wrong. From the entrance to the ceiling and walks, this place is the definition of deck the halls. Unless you get here right when they open it early in the holiday season, I would expect a crowd. The drink menu is so fun with holiday themed drinks served in matching glassware. You can even purchase the glass/mug for an additional fee. A lot of the cocktails looked to be batched cocktails which help with the bartender's efficiency. Highly recommend making this place a holiday stop. I'm also curious to stop in after the holidays to experience it without all the holiday decor.

They had several seasonal cocktails in special festive cups, which you could also buy to take home. I got the Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus, which was good, but pricey for what it was. Almost all the seasonal drinks were $15 each and didn't seem too big. The venue itself is medium sized, but feels crammed quickly. There's more people let in at a time than there is seating, so you have to move fast to get a seat. I'll likely come back during the summer to try something else.

Wow! This may be the best cocktail bar in the city. It is a full vibe that must be experienced…read more Craft cocktails in a charming, warm, inviting space similar to a Victorian era home back in the 1900s. Service is impeccable. They do a tremendous job of explaining the menu and food options in detail, and ensure you have a great experience from start to finish. The drinks? Nothing short of amazing. They vary the featured cocktails menu every 8 weeks, so most likely you'll get a different experience every time you go. However you can always get your classic cocktails like Margaritas, French 75 and Martinis. They also can do any drink NA which is the first of its kind in the US. They have an option called dealers choice, where you can pick the spirit and flavor profile of the drink you want: spicy, sour, floral, smoky etc. no limits! You write down on a card what you want and they craft you a cocktail based on your selections. They also offer a variety of food pairings to go along with the select, featured drink you order. We got spring rolls, a braised, pork infused doughnut, and an incredible bone broth that still has me in a tizzy. Fair warning: it's small and difficult to get a reservation - don't try your luck walking in, this place is a hot ticket and you won't be able to get in without a resy, which could be weeks or months out. This is a true gem of a cocktail bar, and is as good as anything you would find in New York or Chicago.

We stopped here after dinner, so we stuck mostly with the cocktails. Unfortunately, nothing on the seasonal menu really stuck out to me. I stuck with the "traditional" cocktails (spicy watermelon bubblegum, and then banana daiquiri). Hubs went for the halo halo food (which was so cute! All the typical ingredients but served in cubist fashion), and the paired drink. The paired drink was supposed to have different layers of flavor, but they all mixed together quite a bit. Tasty, just not the "layered" experience we thought. I think they almost do themselves a disservice comparing themselves to the aviary - that is a crazy high bar to meet. Granted, maybe we would have been more impressed if we had more of the seasonal cocktails despite them not seeming interesting? Probably wouldnt go out of my way to go here again, but it is a cool vibe and the cocktails were good.

Still a big fan of Boone and Crocket…read more I love the masterful mix of taxidermy and chandeliers. I love that they do game nights in style with a big screen and lots of energy. I love that I can slip into a dimly lit booth with my date and enjoy a exquisitely mixed cocktail and maybe even a game of cribbage by candlelight. I truly love it all. I love that they've expanded the food truck offerings and have a small food truck park on their property. You can order from Taco Moto (and maybe others as well, we're just partial to Taco Moto) right from a QR code at your table or booth and they'll text you when your food is ready (which you're welcome to enjoy in Boone & Crocket). The cocktails on tap were excellent - well balanced and tasty. I tried the Manhattan and the Negroni. They were also pretty reasonable. Service was good. I could really do without all the dead creatures hung everywhere though. It's just not that cool in 2026, even in Wisconsin. Maybe show some respect for animals.
