Ok, so I just left this bank. I live down the street from it and I am not a customer with an…read moreaccount. I do use their Atm here and there though. So today I called to ask if they handle cash advances for Mastercard. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very nice, informative, and polite. Now fast forward to 15min ago (I called at about 9:30am it is now 1:30pm). I walk down there, I am wearing a sweatshirt, no makeup, nothing fancy at all. I get to the counter, explain I called this morning and give her my card and Id. She takes the card and it is a new PayPal Mastercard Credit Card and she said "there is not a name on it". Ok if you have seen any credit card that they are now crating your name and card number are printed on the back. They do not punch the names on the front of the cards anymore due to fraud. So I tell her it is on the back. Her entire demeaner changed! Now she goes to some lady in the back and they are whispering and all that, she comes back and has me write my SS number and phone number on a piece of paper. I was told on the phone there would be a $5.00 fee for non customers and they do a check on your social security number. She took the paper and from here on I already could tell something was not going to go well. They gave me that feeling like I was a criminal and doing something wrong. She never came back by me while I guess it was the manager doing the check. As she is doing it I hear her say "ya, I always have to do it again cause I press the wrong button. Ok then the teller goes to the copy machine and makes a copy of the card and my id and says no we cant do it. I ask why and she gets this paper and says your info does not match. I'm like what does that mean? All she says is "I don't know your info does not match" so I say ok what does that mean? I am standing there like that is all my correct info it has been my social since I was born that is my id and my card I just didn't get it. She is staring at m like I am on bullshit then the manager asks her "you got copy's of her stuff right". So right there I know they think Im on some scam or whatever. I said ok that's fine she asks m "do you have a pin you can go to the Atm" I just got the card and have to wait for the pin in the mail and that takes about 10-15 days so pretty much that is why you go to get a cash advance and pay someone a $5.00 fee because you don't have your pin. So after I said no she had that look of "Ya that's what I thought thief"!! Lol... So I was going to call the card company and then I was like why I know that's my info. Needless to say I walked down the street and got it done with no problem and it only cost me $1.15! I wanted to run back in there and show them the receipt but for what right. I will never be back and I will not be recommending them to anyone!!
