It was almost the end of the day and given the details I shared with them they gave me a rough estimate that was about 1/3 less than the dealership. Got it there right before they closed. Diagnosed in less than 10 minutes and got it done before noon the next day. Whaaat?! Also the final price was lower than what they estimated. AC works better than ever and it came with a lifetime warranty where the dealership said 1 year. I watched them handling everyone the same way. Giving them the time, proper inspection, and unbearable pricing without sacrificing on the quality of the parts. Best value in auto repair at a place I never would have stopped at had I not be recommended during this time. Danny and the whole crew there are superior to any auto repair I've ever experienced. Independent shops are usually reliable as they live and die by their reputation, but often times they can be hit and miss. I can only speak from my experience but I can report to you that Dave's Auto Repair is the real deal. The shop is owned and run by Armando and his family (Armando bought it from Tim, the former owner, and Dave used to run the shop). Armando knows cars, and more importantly, he knows how to treat people right. His prices were competitive or better than other quotes I got, and he didn't try to upsell me on unneccesary repairs. He did give me a heads up on a few things to keep an eye on, which I appreciated, and he even threw in a few freebies which was unexpected and much appreciated. What's also nice is that most independent shops are only open M-F but Dave's is also open on Saturdays, which makes it convenient for those with work/school during the week. I'm very happy with my experience at Dave's and it gives me piece of mind knowing that I have a great mechanic I can take my car(s) to from now on.

Where to even start...? I hit a curb the day before New Years Eve and blew two flats. Looking back,…read morewhere it all happened was fate because I ended being right across the street from Superior Tire which made an awful situation that much less awful. One of the employees I came to know really well (I'm literally the worst with names) saw my dilemma and actually came out of the shop over to my car. In the panicked state that happens after you completely destroy your tires, it hadn't occurred to me to just bring my car across the street... luckily this employee (again, so bad with names) saved me from calling my insurance for a tow. He got my car set up at the shop and even got me a ride home. LONG story short, there was additional damage to the car (I expected this) so I had to wait for the parts to be delivered. Mind you this was over a holiday so wait times were longer than normal but they did a really good job keeping me updated and informed. I called like a million times and every time they were patient and explained everything to me without getting frustrated or annoyed. When my car was finally ready, I went to pick it up and that's when they discovered my driver side mirror wasn't working properly. (It'd been broken for a while but ignorance is bliss ya know?) Anyways, at this point after having so much work done on my car I figured, "may as well just fix the window too." So I called the company that originally replaced my window and they were giving me the run around- basically trying to avoid any warranty claims. While I was dealing with the window company, the owner of Superior Tire was actually on the phone getting quotes/info from another glass company he knew to be fair and reliable. Just knowing my situation and what I'd been through with the car he called just to be helpful... he didn't have to and I never once even asked. Not just that, but after I explained how utterly useless the glass company was being about the window, he stepped in to basically handle it all for me. He made it so that I didn't have to wait longer for my car, pay outrageous fees or haggle about my warranty. I can't even begin to explain how much stress that took away... I would and will absolutely, 100% recommend this spot to anyone for literally any car issue. Every single staff member is kind, helpful and patient. It's not everyday (basically never) that you have someone who really takes the time to empathize with your situation and go out of their way to be helpful. This place knows how to treat a customer! I'm so grateful for everyone at this Superior Tire. No review could do this place justice.

I recently visited this Midas location while traveling because my check engine light came on. I was…read morequoted an estimated wait time of about 2 hours for the repair. Unfortunately, the repair ended up taking an additional 1.5 hours because the parts that arrived were incorrect or defective. I wished they had called me as soon as they found out about the delay. I understand that mistakes can happen and that the parts supplier may have been responsible. My disappointment wasn't the delay itself per se--it was how the situation was handled. The unexpected delay forced me to change my plans for the day. I politely asked whether they could offer any type of courtesy credit or even a coupon toward a future service in recognition of the inconvenience. The owner declined, stating that it "was not our fault" because the issue was with the parts supplier. While that may be true, as the customer, I chose Midas--not the parts supplier. I wasn't asking them to accept blame for the supplier's mistake; I was hoping they would show some goodwill for the significant inconvenience caused during my visit. The repair itself appears to have been completed successfully, and I appreciate the technicians' work. However, customer service is about how a business responds when things don't go as planned. In this case, I left feeling that my time and inconvenience were not valued. It was my first time using Midas. Unfortunately it may be my last one. So much for the Midas touch.
