Why someone decided to smash my passenger side window, steal an overnight bag with yoga pants, toiletries and makeup in it, leave other items such as cash, cd's, gift cards and a phone charger I'll never know but that's how my Friday night ended and needless to say it's not the way you want to find your car at midnight. Why my alarm didn't go off and why the security guards in the shopping district where I parked didn't see anything is also beyond me, but I basically found myself without a passenger side window with a weekend forecast of potential rains. Not good. The next day I started calling around and filling out online quote request forms to get the window replaced. The first place said $300, and a variety of other places quoted me in the $200+ range. The auto glass stop emailed me right away and let me know it would be around $150, and if I came in to the store it would be $99. I was sold on the price and their quick and friendly customer service so drove over right away. I showed up at 4:15pm (they close at 5) and they immediately got to work on the window. There is a seating area inside their air-conditioned office and a small area where they sell drinks and snacks. I brought a few magazines to pass the time but they have a television and magazine rack to keep you occupied. The staff was very friendly and made the best out of a crummy situation. They even asked if I'd like my two front windows tinted for the bargain price of $35! I had been meaning to look into it but previous places had told me it would be $50+ per window. Living in South Florida the sun takes its toll so I took them up on it. When I chose the tint level they revised the price- from $35 to $28! I was impressed that they were so honest and the price couldn't be beat. Their service was fast, courteous, professional, and top quality. They were able to squeeze me in less than an hour before closing and they stayed after-hours to finish the job. An added bonus, when I got the car back, I found that they had vacumed and cleaned up the broken glass in my car, no extra charge or anything! In times like this it was a true delight to find an honest shop that worked quickly, provided great service and got me back on my way at a really reasonable price. Worth the drive! read more

I came to this shop by accident and I wish I would have left right away. Never have I witnessed such poor customer service even on television. I would recommend anyone to stay clear from this shop run by liars. They would rather have you sit there 3 1/2 hours rather then to own up to their mistake. But don't try to call and talk to a manager because you'll be put back on the phone with the same person using a ridiculously FAKE British accent. I regret trusting them and unfortunately the window tints I got are bubbling after just a day. Who knows what they'll do if I go back. And if you have to go, stay away from the guy with the speech impediment, he's the worst and very rude! read more

Tercio, the owner, as well as all of his staff are the prime example of professionalism. My windshield had a couple of chips from falling rocks off dump trucks and Tercio had my car fixed up the same day! I see those old reviews but honestly can put my hand on the flame for these guys. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE. Following a dispute over a bodged rear window installation, customer service was terrible and the manager, Ariel Benegas, refused reason even though clear cut. Once they have your money, that is when service stops. read more

DO NOT get your new windshield from The Auto Glass Stop! They are totally unreliable! 2 days after These guys replaced my windshield, I saw a crack. They did not replace it for free- said is was my own fault! They absolutely denied responsibility for the crack. I had another business come and replace my windshield and when they took out the old glass, one of the sides did not even have the glue/adhesive on it to keep the windshield in place. The new technician mentioned that if I had an accident the windshield could have fallen out completely! Also, the other 3 sides did not have enough adhesive to secure the entire windshield in place. I have picture to prove it if anyone wants to see. Check the reviews for any company before selecting a reliable one. read more

When I had the motors and regulators in my car doors replaced/fixed I was impressed by the service and value of this company. I returned a few weeks afterward and had the windows tinted. I thought to myself, what a great company - I'll be happy to recommend it to anyone. But less than 6 months after the work was done, one of the power windows no longer works. I went back and was told that although the shop is still in the same location and uses the same name, it changed ownership and the new owners will not honor work that should still be under warranty. So, they will no longer receive my business or recommendation. Too bad, I thought I had found a reputable company. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY TO REPAIR YOUR CAR'S GLASS! I hired this company to repair the same window twice, both broken accidentally by my employees. The first install was ok, the installer left a complete mess of broken glass in and around my vehicle and driveway but no biggie. Glass was perfect until broken again 6 months later. Had no problem hiring Auto Glass Stop again and much the same as the last but way more glass remained inside the tailgate, which was interfering with the motor in the mechanism. The door would not properly close and finally the window shattered after about the 5th or 6th closing. Either the glass was chipped before installing, the glass was uneven when installed or the spoiler/wiper was mounted too tight. Either way it was destined to fail and this company will do absolutely nothing to stand behind their products or their installation. The owner/manager (who won't respond to calls or texts) didn't even bother to check with the installer about what happened. Denied any warranty of the bat and assumed case closed. Glass doesn't break from closing a door. I know what it takes to break these windows and this isn't right! Do yourself a favor and hire a better company. It's not worth the few extra dollars to have to deal with this. read more
