I noticed this reviewers abuse of the equipment well before the Trainer, mentioned in the review, came in. The equipment is fairly new and not rusted at all. It's all very well maintained. The reviewer was treating the equipment very aggressively. It was very apparent that he did not have any care for the gym. The Trainer was not rude. She asked the reviewer twice to stop abusing the equipment. He continued to disrespect her and the gym. She had no choice to calmly ask him to leave. He argued, of course, and finally left when more staff came over. I'm sure PH gym would love his business.

We never felt like outsiders and felt more comfortable than in any other gym we've dropped in at. We learned a lot in a week there and we both hit a PR on our power clean. We will miss working out at Makena and will definitely come back and visit them all sometimes soon again.

Chad is a true healer. I have been working with him over the past few months in an effort to heal from some past injuries. In the very first visit, Chad concentrated on one of my ankles - which I badly sprained 2 years ago. I had been suffering from pain in that ankle with every step, and especially bothered me when I ran. After one visit, I swear to you ALL the pain was gone. I am now freely running again with no discomfort. I am continuing to see Chad at first to heal other injuries, but now as a self-care practice.
