The actual apartment is ok. Good space. Location is what sells it I would say. The stuff are friendly. The issue I have is parking! Either they have too many residents or not enough parking for those here or something. It is this way day. Night. Weekends. Weekdays. It wd be better to assign spaces instead of letting. Everyone park. Most of the cars I've seen don't babe the stickers on them to be able to even be here. And there are cars along literally every curb near my building. This is beyond frustrating. I am into my second year living at Bridgemill. First I love the convenience to everything. My apartment is spacious and beautiful. Complex is quite and so are the neighbors. Management is great. I recently went on a tour of this complex and instantly got turned off. The staff were very rude. They didn't even let the receptionist have a lunch break the whole day. That was awful. When she showed us one of the apartment the first thing we saw walking in were three live roaches that they didn't even mean to clean up. The stairs had trash and it wasn't kept up once getting close to the doors. I will not be renting here and just wanted to warn people about them. read more

Been living here six months now . From day one there has been excessive loud noises from upstairs neighbor. Have brought to management's attention NUMEROUS times with no resolution. We call the courtesy officer and she does not respond. It's a joke to live here. So since management refuses to do anything about the noise complaint we lose sleep every night due to the noise upstairs. If you value peace and quiet I would not rent here even if the rent is free. You been warned. read more

I have lived here for about four months now and I've had a great experience so far. Moving in was super easy and painless. The management staff are super nice and helpful if I have any questions. And the area is really nice and well kept as far as the landscaping goes. The only small thing I would complain about would be the few potholes at the entrance but it's not a huge burden to just drive around them. I've had some issues with my neighbors but that's not their fault. Again I've only been here 4 months so we'll see read more

I believe it is better here now that Chris and Emily are gone. They made one feel as though they live in a gestapo or something. They threatened very high fines for the smallest of infractions and in many cases enforced them with an iron hand. I find it ridiculous that we can only have one ornamentation on our door. Come on, a pot of flowers or a garden flag makes a place one lives look homey and inviting. Maybe new management will change this place to a more resident friendly place. read more

This is the worst managed complex in the state. I was quoted a price in writing filled out a application and a week before move in I am sent a new welcome letter with a different price. They did nothing to fix this error and only said I was confused about the price WHEN I HAD IT IN WRITING AND SENT IT TO THEM. The apartments looked great but canceled my application as this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Negative stars for me. read more

This post is for any current residents. If you're moving out, be sure to take pictures of everything, especially the carpet. They are replacing the flooring in the units (see their home page) and you may very well get charged for carpet that was going to be replaced any way. Have proof that you took good care of it, or it will be your word against their word, and you don't want to be in that situation. I'm not the only person that has had this experience. Emily is a manager here and her attitude is the worst. No customer service skill at all. The worst apartment complex I've lived in and to deal with a sorry manger is the worst. Do not rent from here. Keep looking. So a bug the 1st day I moved in here and on top of that my neighbors above r super loud when they walk. I can not wait to my lease is up to leave this place. read more

We have lived in the apartments for 2 years. Never a late payment and tried to deal with all issues on our own if we had a small problem. After about a year there management changed. Huge mistake. They started trying to cut costs. This meant the maintenance staff was cut, they let our groundskeeper go, and of course rent increased. When previous management had it the grounds were kept clean as well as the pool and gym. The buildings were also pressure washed. During that year we had terrible upstairs neighbors though. Maggots from their trash falling on our back deck. A dog the upstairs neighbors had peed all over our stuff on the deck and my husband. Luckily they did leave shortly after new management arrived due to non payment even though we let them know there was a registered offender living with them who wasn't on the lease and a total of 8 people in a 2 bedroom. We did eventually get decent neighbors but the floors are so poorly insulated that you can quite literally hear our upstairs neighbors singing in the shower. Which means you also hear everything else. Parking is also terrible after about 6pm. The one maintenance man who stayed the whole time did address issues quickly and was always very courteous. When we moved in we took lots of photos of things that weren't great or quite right. Paint on the carpet, outlet covers that didn't fit properly, paint splatters near anything that had been painted, the previous owners had a dog and it had chewed the door frame in the bathroom and they just painted over it, spots at the bottom of the sink that hadn't been painted, etc. The lady who was supposed to walk through with us told us she was too busy and for us just to note issues we had. They recently had someone pressure wash and it looked no different until it was pointed out that the job was done terribly. I went into the gym a few months ago and it was disgusting. Brown stuff on the window seals, dust all over, the floor was dirty and the air wasn't working. Some of these things have started being addressed now that they are supposed to be "refinancing". Now we just recently moved out, paid our final bill and had our walkthrough. We had that place looking great but they want to charge to replace the carpet which wasn't new when we moved in and has to be upgraded to match the new renovations they are trying to complete. They claim there is a dog smell. We did have a dog but a dog that is bathed regularly and uses the bathroom outdoors and stays in a kennel when we aren't home. I went back and shampooed the carpet again but to no avail. They still want to charge to replace it. They pulled back the pad and said there is significant staining. This brings up questions as to the previous owner and their pet(s). If the carpet wasn't new when we moved in and quite obviously it was left unattended at times (ie the chewing of door frames) then I would like to know if the pad was checked for significant staining then. So are we now paying for them to replace something that needed to be replaced before we moved in and the last person didn't pay it or just another way of cutting costs that then gets passed on to the customer? Ours and our neighbors water bills also doubled after new management took over and now we are getting another final bill with final trash, pests, pet, sewer, water, and electric. Now we paid Nov. 1st and our final day in the apartment was the 2nd and lease ended the 4th. Now how did we accrue extra monthly fees (not utilities) in a few days when a new month hasn't started? I'm not sure if all apartments are this hard to deal with but I would save yourself the time and issues and look elsewhere. read more
