I bought a $400 dress that ripped after two wearings. It was a summer dress and didn't realize it was ripped until I pulled it out to wear in summer 2024. I brought in and they told me too bad, too late??? It was over a year. Suggested I call the company myself. This wasn't some cheap dress. I though incorrectly that they would stand behind their merchandise. I have spent at least $ 5,000 between their Rye and Mt Kisco stores and expected to be treated like a valued customer. Did I expect a 400 credit? No. But at least something to recognize the dress was and defective and acknowledge my business. Some kind of credit. I will never shop here again. Be warned.

Beyond personable, I felt like I knew these two lovely ladies forever. I was greeted with a smile immediately when my husband and I walked in the store. I tried on a super cute boot in a size that was a bit too tight. Maria instantly called another store and the boot was in Darien that afternoon. I couldn't ask for better service. Such a breath of fresh air as I did NOT have the same experiences in fellow stores. It's so easy to be nice and these women have it down. Just have to exercise self control and not spend so much money there! Will definitely pop in to say hello when in the neighborhood.

In Darien, that could be a new Canada goose jacket (available at DSS) or a new pair of Nordic skis (available at DSS). Maybe even a new Range Rover (not available but DSS can order it). And for the adults who brave the intense December line to catch a glimpse of the big guy, they setup a makeshift bar (no charge of course) with Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, Beer, Wine, all the fixings. Back to Santa, did I mention this guy is the real deal? He claims that he runs a bird seed shop in the off season, lol. Yea Kringle, I ain't buying it. Shopping for shoes has always been hard for me. My feet run on the larger side and are very wide as well as one of them being half a size bigger than the other. Shari, the woman who helped me, was one of the most accommodating, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoyable people I have ever met. I usually don't look forward to shopping whatsoever let alone shoe shopping, and not only did I find shoes I loved Shari somehow made me EXCITED about the entire thing. I was planning to stop in for maybe 5 minutes, but somehow I was In the store for over 4 hours! Shari brought out not only shoes I had asked to see, but also styles and colors that were not on the floor that she thought I would like and that were actually in my size. She also heard I lived near snow and without me having to ask brought out brands that were water proof and all weather boots. I was astonished how enthusiastic she was about the whole process. I actually found shoes I loved which almost never happens. I never once felt pressured to buy anything and loved shopping so much I actually started to shop for clothes as well. She was also very knowledgeable about all the brands they carry. There was a coat I loved that I was sure was real fur and being a vegan I couldn't bring myself to buy it. Shari actually knew quite a bit about the brand and informed me they were a progressive faux fur company that were committed to making high quality products without the use of animals. She knew a lot about the owners of the company and their origins. I found a brand I love which wouldn't have happened without Shari being so knowledgeable about her products. If you have time I would stop into the store just to have Shari help you shop. I know she's moving from the Greenwich location to be the manager at the location in Mount Kisco. She's honestly wonderful and if I could bring her everywhere I shop I would!

All I can say is this is the best place to get running shoes. I have been in a number of running stores and none compare. These guys really know their stuff. I tried several types based on their recommendations and walked out with a pair of Asics Kayanos. I use to get all types of pain and it appears I was wearing the wrong shoe. Needed a stability and now the pain is gone. They are an independent business and not like your normal "chain" stores. I highly recommend them. Also, the selection of both running shoes and Under Armour clothing is great. read more

The first two times I came in, the service was great -- helpful, friendly, and attentive. But this last visit was a completely different story. No one greeted us when we walked in. We stood there clearly waiting, but the staff completely ignored us. They were too busy having personal conversations with other people -- not even helping them, just chatting as if it were a hangout spot. One worker spent the entire time stacking shoe boxes and never once looked up or acknowledged us. Not even a "Hey, we'll be with you in a minute." Nothing. We waited patiently, but after about 20 minutes of being completely overlooked, we just walked out. It's one thing to be busy, but this felt like they didn't care at all that we were there. It was rude, unprofessional, and disappointing -- especially considering how good the service used to be. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won't be coming back. Other running stores actually treat their customers with respect.

The owner expressed he was "passing" on selling my product. When I visited to pick up my samples, he had my product on display at the register for sale without paying me. Gut Reaction Tennis misappropriated these samples and sold/had intent to sell them without any payment or agreement to purchase. This is theft and unethical business practice. Samples are provided for consideration, not for unauthorized resale. I would strongly advise any potential partners or customers to avoid Gut Reaction Tennis at all costs as their business practices are questionable and, in this case, potentially illegal.
