Don't order online from this company. My package was stolen off my doorstep but they don't insure them and say they have no responsibility to replace. Lovely store with a lot of merchandise. I was helped immediately and there was no pressure to buy. That said, some prices are competitive while other are hugely marked up. $100 for sneakers that were $45 on Amazon. The store deserves to mark up prices but this was ridiculous. read more

First time in this store and last! No sales help... I had to find my own size for jeans, fold them back on the shelf... if I didn't need a pair to travel I would have left. When I paid at cashier he crumpled them up and put I a plain white bag... no logo... no tissue ... no thank you.... I've consistently had a great experience here and bought a variety of things- most recently two outs of black boots and a faux fur jacket. Ann usually helps me but everyone is great. Although I did like the shoes they has in the store, I found the selection to be wanting and the staff very poor. I purchased a pair of shoes from the store on Saturday and was told that they my size would be in store on Monday. Monday , Tuesday, and Wednesday passed and no call. When I stopped by on Wednesday afternoon inquiring about the shoes I had purchased, I was scolded by the staff for coming in prior to their call. When I did receive a call the next day, it took several staffers to find my shoes which they apparently misplaced. The store seems somewhat run down and the staff plays favorites to the regulars. Not an appealing nor enjoyable shopping trip for me and I will not be back. read more

If I could give this store a zero star I would. Rudest staff there ever. There's this lady with a smokers voice that helped us with a shoe and when we didn't buy, she was so rude and snatched up the shoes and walked away. Try working on customer service folks! Disgusting. I gave them a description of what I was looking for and showed up for curbside with everything already picked out and packaged. Not a person to write reviews, but after the experience I had today I thought I must. Bought a pair of jeans from here a few weeks ago, noticed the security tag was still on it, came back today to finally get it off. Was greeted by the owner, told her my dilemma and she responded "cool", as she sat on her phone while speaking to another sales associate. I waited at the counter for a few minutes until she finally came to help me. As she took off the security tag she said, "you know we do this on purpose, so you come and see our new sales!" and informed me on whatever promotion was going on. Joke or not, was totally inappropriate of this "business woman". Will never EVER be giving them my business again. read more

I Went shopping today for summer sandles today, I was greeted right away by Carrie, compared to other employees who work there...where they first look at you if your worth $$$ and are going to spend. Carrie in the other hand was different, she looked beyond that. She was wonderful and very knowlegdeable in helping me find what I wanted. She even went the extra mile and brought out alternative styles which she thought I might be interested In. I left the store buying what I wanted and in addition, bought a purse that I did not need. I definetly will be back and she will be my go to person in the future! I was looking for a specific shoe when I went into the store. It took me a while to find someone to help me. When I finally got the help, I picked two shoes I wanted to try in my size. The associate said they didn't have one of the shoes in the color I wanted so I was going to leave the store. She suggested some other style shoes that were more "popular" right now. I stated I came in looking for a specific shoe and designer. She said they didn't sell many of what I was looking for because it's not a popular seller. And went on about how unpopular the shoe I wanted was compared to other styles everyone is looking for right now. I was so turned off by her selling style. I never asked for the trendiest shoe style. I wanted what I wanted. I don't care about what's in style this season or at the moment. I will not visit this store in Greenwich again for poor selling techniques and poor snooty service. read more

The customer service here is genuinely terrible. I was serious about purchasing a pair of white shoes, and received no help until I walked to the back of the store to find someone that would help me, practically begging for attention. Finally got someone to help and said she'd check for the size, she came back and said we don't have your size in the white but these are the silver. I asked "and you can order the white" to which she responded "maybe." And walked away. What does maybe mean? Does it mean you'll check? Does it mean no? Does it mean yes? Maybe?! I was so agitated that I took the shoes to the back of the store again to find her and said thank you and walked out of the store. Such an attitude... I've worked in retail for 4 years so I understand that sometimes you're irritated and sometimes customers can be rude but honestly... this is the worst customer service I've seen in a while. read more

This place is a scam, I had a $59.00 credit for something that I returned a while ago and when I returned to redeem that store credit for a new pair of shoes they said that it had already been used by someone... They told me what had been bought with the credit and I don't even own those items! Then they said that the difference of the items and the credit had been paid with an American Express... I don't even have an American Express!!!!!!! Instead of showing good customer service and trying to make it right, the store manager dismissed us saying, well someone used your credit then.... Then she proceeded to verbally harass us as we walked out of the store, yelling behind our backs, "You can complain all you want, I don't care." Are you kidding me!!!! I would NEVER go back here. What a scam, it doesn't even deserve ONE star. After reading through other reviews on Yelp I'm not surprised that I'm not the only one with the worst experience here. T This review is definitely long over due. Everything in the store is very high quality and I had the single most positive customer service experience I've ever had! Shopping for shoes has always been hard for me. My feet run on the larger side and are very wide as well as one of them being half a size bigger than the other. Shari, the woman who helped me, was one of the most accommodating, enthusiastic, and genuinely enjoyable people I have ever met. I usually don't look forward to shopping whatsoever let alone shoe shopping, and not only did I find shoes I loved Shari somehow made me EXCITED about the entire thing. I was planning to stop in for maybe 5 minutes, but somehow I was In the store for over 4 hours! Shari brought out not only shoes I had asked to see, but also styles and colors that were not on the floor that she thought I would like and that were actually in my size. She also heard I lived near snow and without me having to ask brought out brands that were water proof and all weather boots. I was astonished how enthusiastic she was about the whole process. I actually found shoes I loved which almost never happens. I never once felt pressured to buy anything and loved shopping so much I actually started to shop for clothes as well. She was also very knowledgeable about all the brands they carry. There was a coat I loved that I was sure was real fur and being a vegan I couldn't bring myself to buy it. Shari actually knew quite a bit about the brand and informed me they were a progressive faux fur company that were committed to making high quality products without the use of animals. She knew a lot about the owners of the company and their origins. I found a brand I love which wouldn't have happened without Shari being so knowledgeable about her products. If you have time I would stop into the store just to have Shari help you shop. I know she's moving from the Greenwich location to be the manager at the location in Mount Kisco. She's honestly wonderful and if I could bring her everywhere I shop I would! read more

I went in yesterday and was browsing, possibly looking to pick up something for my upcoming vacation. I inquired of one of the sales women whether they had a particular pair of TOMS that was on sale in my size. She not only did not answer my question but proceeded to explain to me why the pattern I chose was somewhat juvenile and led me over to their "best selling" (full price) colors. Excuse me, if I wanted your input, I would have asked for it. Maybe unlike most people who shop there (a generalization, I know, but I was pretty put off by the experience) I don't want whatever your best-selling pair is and actually like the pattern I asked about. It was pretty disgusting--I think she may have been confused about who was the employee and who was the customer. It's just unreal to me that her first option would be to lose a sale by failing to answer my question. Hell, if you want a larger sale at least answer my question and lie to me about what's in stock, but answer the question. I would hope the owner of the place would be equally disappointed in that decision by an employee. I gave two stars because they do carry a variety of colors in popular brands (Sperry, Jack Rogers, Ugg), but not enough to compensate for my experience yesterday. I had a wonderful experience shopping at this store! I haven't been here since I was a kid, and I'm so happy I came back. They have so many amazing brands: Rebecca Minkoff, Chloe, Sam Edelman, etc. The sales people are so helpful and attentive (unlike in department stores). Ann helped me find everything I wanted and helped me decide which shoes looked best. They did not have a my size in a sandal that I wanted, so she had a driver bring my size from their Westport location. Highly recommend shopping here! read more

My first and last time ever shopping at Shoes'n'More. I was visiting New Canaan, CT, and saw a beautiful handbag in the window. I told Lynn, the sales woman, that I'd like to buy it for my mom for Christmas but I don't know if she'll like it. Lynn's exact words to me were, "You can return it." I said, "Even thought Christmas is 2 months away?" Lynn said, "Yes." I purchased the handbag which turned out to be too big. Turns out - Shoes'n'More only issues store credit. They won't refund anything to your credit card. Be care everyone - just because they tell you that you can return it -- you will not get a refund -- only a store credit. Yesterday I visited the store with two girlfriends. The sales associate that greeted us while we browsed was beyond rude. While we were looking at shoes, she went out of her way to make rude comments about all of our footwear (separately). My friend also asked for a perticular color of a shoe and when they didn't have it the associate explained "that color doesn't work in Greenwich", a poor excuse for their crappy assortment. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Found a great pair of shoes but they didn't have my size or the color I wanted. After the sales associate hassled me about how I should support my local businesses instead of buying the shoes online which would have been way cheaper than what they were selling them for, she then proceeded to tell me that "I wasn't gonna buy them anyway". I will absolutely NOT shop in this store!!! Not only are the salespeople some of the rudest I have ever encountered (and I shop alot!!) but their return policy is the worse. In other words, you are stuck with a credit so you can have the wonderful experience of being mistreated by the old time sales staff. Aside from the parking which is always a nightmare on the Ave, this shoe store is fantastic! The shoe prices are very good the selection is excellent, and they often have sales that are VERY good. They consistently have the 'in' shoe or boot which is nice. The staff is super nice. I called ahead asking to hold a pair of Havianas and it wasn't a problem. They have an old time theater popcorn machine in the kids department along with a mini fridge filled with juice boxes. I think that's super cute! Like I said, parking is horrendous, but driving in circles for 10 minutes for a spot IS worth it. read more

Great shoes, but customer service is horrible. The two older sales associates who I encountered were rude and lazy. I asked the first one if I could try on a pair of shoes. She looked at me blankly and said, "Did you try on the one you're holding? I'm not going down there unless you know the shoe you're holding fits." Wow! She then spent the whole time catering to a mother/daughter couple who definitely didn't try on their shoes before she fetched them their pairs. I go to another sales associate to see if she would be more willing to help me, using different language this time of "I'm looking to PURCHASE this shoe. Can you please help me get a pair so I can BUY it?" If she was going to dismiss me like her colleague, that got her attention. However, after looking for a minute she told me she couldn't find the other shoe so therefore it wasn't in stock. She didn't bother to check the computer system. When I went to the lady at the cashier, she actually looked in the computer system and saw there were two pairs sitting in the store! The lady came back with the shoes, which were sitting in a higher area of their back room where the older sales lady didn't bother to check. read more
