My Yelp team and I had a really wonderful brunch here back in April after a big event. We were the only people dining here on a Thursday around 11am. They had their garage door up and it was just the perfect day, the weather was amazing and out server was so sweet! We ordered different coffees and apps and brunch entrees. EVERYTHING was amazing and really so enjoyable. The space itself is also just really cool and inviting. I especially love the back garden sitting area. It's so unique and private. This is a really dope spot!!

This place was amazing! We were the only guests for quite a while- it was a early Thursday afternoon. Our 5 top table of foodies were so excited by the menu that we went a bit crazy on the menu. We ordered the olives, bacon wrapped dates, the spoon bread and mimosas, matcha, espressos. I had a grits bowls for my entree with all of the accoutrements. It was delicious and so much food. The space itself has a light and airy indoor/outdoor feel. Industrial/artsy decor/musical decor. I can't wait to visit Charlotte again just to come here.

Got reservations here for brunch while in town. I did love the vibe of the place. It jives with things I support as well. *locally sourced menu *monthly featured local artists *100% woman-owned and operated Service was good- my only wish was that we were told from the git go what wasn't available. There were several moments of "I want this" to have her come back and say "Sorry - it's not available today - can you pick something else?" After altering our original selection, we started with the Warm Marinated Olives & Bacon - Wrapped Dates. Both were delish and set the stage for a great brunch ahead. Then, for the main, again after receiving the news, the dish the waitress recommended to me wasn't available, so I opted for the Shrimp & Grits & Artisan's Burrata Salad. The salad was the standout of the two. I tend to like my roux a bit darker on my S&Gs, but it was still good. So overall, it was good, and I'd come back. But a few things kept it from the 5 star experience I was hoping for. Maybe next time (fingers crossed)

Although this restaurant has been on my list to visit for awhile, today is the first time I made it there. Beautifully decorated inside and out with outside seating, it felt warm and welcoming from the moment I entered. We had a large group so we were seated at the community table. Service was amazing and the food delicious. I had the lavender mimosa and the egg board which came with bacon, scrambled eggs, sour dough toast and potatoes. We shared a croissant and biscuit board that came with an assortment of jellies and jams. I will definitely come back to see how their dinner service is. Oh and did I mention, this restaurant is woman owned!

Ended up here by chance after missing the cutoff of yoga next door. Decided to get a bite to eat before the next scheduled class. This place is such a gem! They display and sell local art, there's also a cute secret garden in the back with seating. This is a tapas style place so shared shrimp and grits, fries, bacon wrapped dates and the Brussels sprouts. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly, grits were creamy. Crispy French fries topped with flaky sea salt, it came with three dipping sauces, sriracha ketchup, garlic aioli and regular ketchup. The bacon wrapped dates were decadent and a nice crunch from the almond. Now the star were the Brussel sprouts, crispy on the outside, soft of the inside, savory red sauce over top with flaky sea salt. The service was excellent!

So...was our first time here and I must say it was very disappointing food wise. This place is run by women, had quick service and support art which is why I am giving 2 stars, otherwise If I had to rate based on food level I would have given 1 star. Here is my feedback 1. The portion size for the price seems extremely small. A $17 empanadas with a count of 4 empanadas doesn't make sense to me. 2. The tomato soup was tasteless. 3. Menu shows many vegan options but it was so hard to find a proper vegan meal. Appetizers like fries, Brussel sprouts were our options but we were there for dinner, so didn't choose that. Please add some vegan meals or mention you can make the items vegan atleast. 4. Such a cute place and decorations but it was burning inside, maybe use some AC? Overall I don't think I recommend this place based on what I got but maybe it's good for other people.

Love this spot aesthetics are fabulous food crushed got the octopus and the cheese board and a flight of old fashions perfect and Jerry the waitress was the best! She found out it was my wife's bday and hooked us up with free champagne and a gift card with a card and a personalized note.

I visited The Artisan's Palate for a whiskey tasting dinner featuring Uncle Nearest. The service was top notch from the moment I entered. I loved the cozy ambiance of the space and the fact that the whole meal was themed to set the stage for our experience. From the 1st bite of cornbread dipped in confit pot liquor, I was all in! The accompanying drinks were all delicious and unique, showcasing the talent outside of the kitchen as a true contender for attention. Honestly, it was a full blown culinary delight from start to finish. I look forward to coming back for more, especially now that it's warm enough to sit outside. Drinks ***** Food ***** Service ***** Ambiance*****

This is one of my favorite places in town. The service is great, the food is amazing and I get to learn about spirits and food pairings. I love the Women ans Whisky events held each month here.

I stopped here for breakfast to go, the barista was SO nice. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage and a side of greens. Was it possibly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had, yes. Was it also 16.50 and not the largest portion, yes. However, everything is homemade and local and I would definitely give this place a try.

At The Artisan's Palate in NoDa, every dish here is crafted with intention and creativity, delivering bold flavors and a visual feast. The lamb shank was tender and rich, served over a creamy bed of risotto that melted in your mouth. Their olive tapenade with crusty bread was a perfect starter, bursting with Mediterranean flavors, along with the Brussels and bacon-wrapped dates. Drinks? The cocktails are on another level--balanced, refreshing, and crafted with fresh herbs for that extra punch. The old fashioned was awesome, as was the G&T! The vibe? Cozy and eclectic, perfect for a casual evening or a fun night out with friends. Plus, live music on Saturdays makes it even better. If you're looking for a spot that blends great food, drinks, and ambiance, The Artisan's Palate is where it's at! The staff was absolutely amazing! They know the menus front and back and gave amazing suggestions and recommendations. Parking is located in the lot connected to the restaurant. Didn't have an issue finding parking. Can't wait to go back for more food, drink and fun!

I'm a champagne lover so I grabbed the "cheapest" one by the glass (which is still over $20), but it was awful - it was very chardonnay based, which I abhor. I couldn't drink more than a few sips of it before I gave up and ordered the next step up of their wine by the glass. I was totally prepared to pay for both glasses, but my server was super kind and noticed that I ignored the first glass and ended up taking it off my bill which was very kind and I appreciated a lot (it's what made me want to come back). My sis and I also ordered some cheese and charcuterie, which was yummy, but I'll admit they could use adding some jam and mustard (maybe a fruit) to the board to make it a little less dry. We still ate most of it though! Ambiance was really nice as they weren't super packed when we went. It was fairly quiet people wise, though they do play their 90s r&b a bit loud. Our server the entire time was also really great. Very kind, attentive, and again I super appreciated that he saw that I wasn't a fan of my first wine. Next time, I'll be sure to grab a bottle, not any wine by the glass. I'd recommend the same for anyone else coming here given the prices of wine by the glass here!

Wow what an experience! I'm in Charlotte for the weekend, and my good friend's colleague…read morerecommended we come here after dinner for drinks. There's outdoor seating, and initially we wanted to sit outside but we didn't have reservations. Luckily, they seated us at a small corner section near the back of the bar. It's very cozy and intimate inside. Just my type of vibe. The service was top tier. They were unable to validate our parking because of some sort of discrepancy with the signage outside and lack of having the proper equipment for validation. To make up for it, they offered us complimentary champagne to start. We were not expecting that, and pleasantly surprised! Their menu has an eclectic selection of cocktails, both full and mini. We opted to order from the mini cocktail menu, and we each ordered two drinks. I had the Creepy cucumber cocktail and it was refreshingly sweet and probably my favorite drink of the night. I also ordered the Don't Shy Away which was a sour and spicy rum concoction with carrot in it. It was definitely spicy and had a puréed texture. I really enjoyed it. And, then don't get me started on the music!!! The dj was masterful. He played all the types of music I love and he mixed them in such a refreshing way. I ended up asking him for his contact information before leaving, and whether he does weddings because my fiancé and I are currently looking for a DJ. He was just that good. This would definitely be my spot if I lived here in Charlotte. It was the perfect way for us to end the night.

It's a small intimate setting and I do love the dark aesthetic they did. Gives it a swanky vibe and makes a great date spot. But they were burning incense in the tiny space and it was overwhelming. The other bar guests sitting next to us agreed. *They did finally pick up on it and the staff moved it toward the kitchen door* Staff was friendly as well, though, it was busy and looked as if they had a trainee in tow, so attention was lacking just a bit. So why we came: The drinks were average to me. One was weird (Pineapple Fried Rice) and I just couldn't get it sit well on my palate - and I tried - sip after sip. But the mixologist saw my struggle and swapped it out for a different one. I did like the Don't Shy Away - it was an interesting take on a margarita with a strong carrot base. The Whispering Dove was a take on a Paloma and I couldn't find the lemongrass infusion on my palate. So I found it pretty basic, but pricey. So overall, decent. And I might stop buy if I was stuck in the area again.
