Housed in a historic building filled with nooks and passageways that are beyond cool. You are fully immersed in an authentic artistic experience. I've taken art classes on both coasts, and NYSS has my highest recommendation by far.

Expensive and still not nationally accredited, this school has less than par studio conditions. Bad ventilation in many of the overcrowded work studios and several abusive long time staff members detract from any positive experience. Another problem is the atelier teaching method with few expceptions often corrupts individual talent resulting in work that looks very similar. If you are seeking studio space in NYC there are cheaper options and better MFA programs in the area. Despite all of this there are some extrordinary artists who teach there -- but in my opinion -- definitely not worth the price of admission.

Elegant Driving school make's it there mission to fully give you all the knowledge about driving, rules of the road and what it takes to not only pass the road test but to build confidence an the skills to become a Great driver long after the road test. This is what separates Elegant from other schools . I earned my CDL class B , and my driving instructor was Raphael who showed an immense amount of patience and determination to helping me through all the lessons and just making me feel comfortable behind the wheel. I will also like to thank the support of the lady who works at the office who (I apologize I don't remember Her name off the top of my head) big shoutout to you guys for the support and not giving up on me when I struggled to feel confident ,you guys truly showed Elegance.

I mainly took this lesson to supplement for when my current instructor can't take me for lessons, is busy, etc. The Elegant driving school instructor, Hyra was unreceptive to any form of driving that isn't the way he does it. He explicitly told me hand over hand is unacceptable, EVEN while turning which is completely untrue. In fact, it's the preferred method according to many driving experts. I would not recommend Elegant Driving school or their services to anyone.
