It does look like an abandoned mansion but it does have very beautiful art/ exhibits inside. It's a free admissions donations are welcome. They are currently showing June 1 : I Dream Like this Everyday at Andrew Freedman Home until July 27! A solo exhibition by AFH artist-in-residence, Note' Peter George. Many more arts but I do not want to spoil it please go see and donate. The mansion itself it's huge and they do have a room for rental. Restroom are also available. It's true that it does look like you're in Florence, Italy because of garden and building. Its right in the heart of Grand Concourse and it's amazing it was built in the 1920's and now it's being used for community programs, and a gallery for local artists. Would definite come back they had a lot more art than the Bronx museum.
