When I saw the flowers at the funeral home, my heart sank. It was a small arrangement of almost all yellow, some purple and a little greenery. My bill was $82. I realize costs have gone up for everything, but for that price, I expected a nice, full bouquet. I obviously chose the wrong florist to call.

They said they had the perfect thing and that they could offer us a 25% discount to bring the cost down to our budget amount, making our total $70. She received a potted hydrangea that looks like it came from the grocery store, with a bow stuck on it. These cost $12-$13 in the store! We will not be using this business again and feel grossly taken advantage of.

We were left scrambling to find another florist at 10 pm in the evening. And they said "we don't do funeral" how professional the didn't even call us to let us know (again had to wait for refund) Well we had less than an hour before our beloved mothers funeral and we rushed to Jennifer's Flower Boutique in Fortville. Jennifer told us to give her 15 minutes and it was the most beautiful boutique of flowers you could have ever asked for. The take away here is use a local flower shop don't use these online services because you don't know what you are ever going to get. I took extra time finding the perfect arrangement for her with pale pink roses and a succulent that would last far past the roses. The white square vase with succulent after the roses were gone would be perfect in her home. The arrangement was over $70 total which is a bit pricey but it was perfect for her. Well, what she received looks absolutely NOTHING like what I ordered and nothing at all like what my MIL would like. Also, there was no succulent in the arrangement so nothing for her to have after the flowers are gone. Defeated the whole purpose of picking the original arrangement! I called the florist and was told that I should have been notified of substitutions - never happened - and she apologized but said that the flowers used were comparable in price. I call BS! I was so upset that I just hung up and chalked it up as a bad experience but I will never order from them again & I will make sure to tell everyone that asks for a suggestion on a florist to not go here. I am very supportive of small businesses but you have to have top service to be competitive. This was not the case at all. If you do not have the product or cannot perform the service that is being requested - be honest and upfront. If I were notified that the arrangement that I chose was not available & offered the opportunity to make another choice - I would not be this upset.
