They can't say they are full or they don't have the resources for your the animal you have found. They are doing what they can to return animals to there loving homes. The ones they cant they try hard to find loving homes for. Common miss conception is that there is a time limit on the animals. They do everything they can to find homes for animals. Including trying to work with rescues and doing discount adoptions. Even working with national Fondations to offer low and sometimes no cost adoptions. They are here for the community and are trying to places animals back in loving homes within their community. There are several organizations in the area that feel the need to travel to other states and or even other countries to bring animals here to adopt. When there are plenty of loving animals that need homes here locally. They are ever changing and innovating. They are always looking at ways to better the community and our animal friends within the community.

She was so friendly and curious we fell in love right away. We were able to take her home that same day. The female I got was a one-eyed tortie beauty and couldn't be happier. Her breed tends to be a bit more "feisty" and has taken some work but it has been worth every second!!! Also, all these dogs are fostered at loving homes, which also makes it easier for them to transition to your home. Karen at the rescue also does a great job matching potential pet parents with their dogs. While the first dog I looked at unfortunately was not a good fit for me, the second dog was! Karen was very patient, kind and determined to find me a better fit! With the adoption it typically includes the rabies tags, neutering, a first free vet visit at certain approved locations within the first week, all required shots and Microchip (at least for our adoption). The adoption fee was reasonable all considering too. Adoption is the only option!! Please consider this small Rescue! They said it would only take 20 minutes. We waited well over half an hour in person. They knew we were there and would not help us. The staff were slow and very rude. The woman finally processing the application refused to adopt the pet to us and acted very, very self-righteous about it. She tried to push another pet on us that we did not want. So we found a good pet and cannot have it now. I have two very disappointed children. They wasted a ton of our time for nothing. Maybe we should shop and not adopt a rescue if they are going to accept so high and mighty about things. There are other, better shelters to visit.
