Pulled into a strip, he walked right up to the door, of a pet store, even though we'd never been there before and waited patiently for me to open the door. The store was closed that day. As we were staying in Bettendorf I found this store online, the young man was great--helping us choose some great treats and a toy he's having fun with. Will have to stop next time we are in town and may be able to get some plants (when it's not 100 degrees!) and pots to take back home. Thank you for being so helpful and nice!

*see Update below! AMY H. is The BEST GROOMER IN THE QC!…read more I took my long haired "Lil Bits" -3 yr old kitty for her yearly "Summer Doo" (as she won't sit still for brushing). I asked for a Lion Cut w/Boots and ((Wa-La)) Lil Bits was transformed into "BOOTS" (her Rock N Roll name lol). She was calm and happy an hr later when we picked her up & her cut was "Maaavelous". Amy said she was very well behaved . Her cut is cleanly done & evenly trimmed, not 1 razor burn or problem. I was very pleased with my first experience here- will definitely recommend AMY for grooming . Thanks for doing such an awesome job on this lil sweetie! ------ UPDATE!! Last summer 2019, a different groomer had taken over and she did a terrible job on Lil Bits. After explaining a lion cut to her(really?), her cut was uneven and she didn't trim feet at all but left a bushy mess on her paws. A very uneven mane too. Bad cut! Amy H. Was awesome- but this last lady left my darling looking absolutely terrible. I would NOT Recommend this place for grooming!! (Psst Amy if u see this contact me on fbook!)

Outside, there were people walking dogs, playing with dogs, and I could see dogs going in and out of their kennels. Each kennel has a a climate controlled indoor space, and a door to the outside, which the dogs can use whenever they choose. I was very encouraged as this was my first time using this kennel. The staff was friendly, and my dog was eager to enter. The price was reasonable compared to other kennels in the area. I paid extra for one walk per day for the dog. They require you to bring your own food and any treats. They encourage you to bring any of your dog toys so that they feel comfortable while they're there. They provide a good bed. When I left, I felt secure in that he would be well cared for while I was gone for a week. When we picked him up, they reported on his stay and how he did, including how he ate and drank while he was there. I appreciate that. In the past, at other places, I have never heard a thing about how he did during his stay. I would definitely recommend this kennel.
