I tried the one inside and although it was on the pricier end, the shrimp quesadilla was really good! -Drinks: also can be on the pricier end depending on day. Look at your receipt carefully because they did add 20% gratuity to mine last night. Overall it's a clean and spacious place but once it hits 11ish they will start labeling and adding more tables for sections (booo!) so it gets more crowded. The DJs are so good too. Bathrooms are typically clean. Funny reminder: come ready with bug spray because them TX mosquitoes were OUT!

The inside/outside feature of Maeve made it perfect and the weather was amazing. We were able to set up and decorate with plenty of time before our party started and the venue complimented the decorations perfectly. The staff that worked our party were quick, efficient, and friendly. Overall, the party was a success and everyone had a great time. I look forward to my next outing at Maeve!

The place has really opened up their space- it used to be crowded with a maze of tight cubicles of gallery and studios. Now, it's a wide open central gallery, with studios and smaller galleries off to the sides. In the front, they now have a coffee shop! Cool! In the back, they've paved in the side and back yards, where bands set up, and additional galleries can be found. All of the art is local, handmade, and ranges in media. Some of the art can not be purchased, as they are installation pieces. The art here is all reasonably priced, and there's a great variety of artists and vendors selling cool stuff. This place gets hopping for Second Saturday, a monthly art walk that centers around the galleries by the train tracks at South Flores. The art is just part of the scene- check out the live music too! Budding artists can rent space here to do their art, and sell it when they have events. Other than Second Saturday, you might need to book an appointment to come by many of the artists' galleries, but it seems that coffee is served all day.

I'm fascinated by old architecture and the materials to build these places is just mind blowing to me. Anyway, we rented the place for 2 hours, captured some great shots. I will say the only drawback was is that there was really no flexibility on allotted time. When the 2 hours it's up it is up and you must gather your things and go! I felt rushed out but understood that it wasn't the owners fault I'm going over on time. Other than that I would definitely want to return for an event someday at this place. It was their classic 1920's package, and I want to start off by saying I am used to throwing amazing parties and doing everything myself. Everything. I am absolutely blown away by the level of service and empathy and care that was put into this event. It wasn't like we were a wedding of 100 people... we maybe had 35. But they treated us like we were the most important guests in the world, and every detail, every tiny thing, was taken care of with upmost attention to detail and kindness. I can't say enough. The house? Spectacular. The food? Perfect. The decorations? Absolutely gorgeous. My guests were stunned. If you are looking for a unique venue with wonderful hosts... just stop looking. Book Lambermont. I would book them again in a HEARTBEAT. Thank you sooooo much for making my daughter's day unforgettable!!

Beacon House is a 100-year-old building nestled in the heart of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, just north of downtown San Antonio. In 2017, The Park Community Church was generously gifted this charming building and renovated it to create a multi use space that is perfect for coworking, events, meetings, or seminars. Both coworkers and event rentals have access to kitchenettes on both floors of the building, free Wi-Fi, private meeting rooms, flexible large group spaces, virtual meeting capabilities, and audio/visual equipment. Beacon House is also the home to a suite of licensed professional counselors who welcome clients in a safe, private area of the building. We understand the importance of mental health but know that seeking counseling can sometimes be cost-prohibitive. To ease this burden, we are proud to use a portion of the profits generated from coworking and event rental fees to create a scholarship fund that can be used to offset counseling costs.
