In all honesty, I boarded my airplane resigned to the fact that I would have to find a corner at a bustling coffee shop and apologize excessively to my colleagues on my calls for the background noise. However, before requesting a rideshare from the airport I thought to myself ,"Let me do a quick google search and see if I maybe there's a coworking space that I could work from for the day." Luckily I came across Pearl Cowork. I signed up for a tour of the place to start in 30 minutes, hopped into my 15 minute ride and hoped for the best. On my way there, I received an email with helpful instructions in finding the suite on the second floor. Upon arriving, the manager (Madison) greeted me and was super friendly. She said that indeed they offered day passes. She gave me a tour of the space and I felt so grateful because this had exactly what I needed (wifi, outlets, several collaborative/private spaces, and coffee). The workspace is at the Pearl which has lots of dining options for breakfast and lunch and the manager even gave me a coupon for 15% off a meal (so kind). I was worried that because I was working from a different time zone I would have to find somewhere else to work as it got later but the manager explained that while most everyone left by 5, I could stay later but would need to be mindful of the doors that do lock. I only had to stay one hour after and it wasn't a problem. Overall, this was a very positive experience and I am so glad this was where I experienced my first time at a coworking space. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that like me needs a quite place to work from for a day or for anyone looking for something more permanent.

All memberships include access to the meeting rooms, which have different sizes and amenities (for example, podcasting equipment, or projection screens). The kitchen is always stocked with coffee, tea, sparkling water, and other goodies. Seasonal flowers and changing art exhibits (a collaboration with Hausmann Millworks) add to the atmosphere. The private dressing room was PERFECT for the court to change for the surprise dance and have a little place to cool off when they got hot dancing. The staff kept the restrooms super clean throughout the night and were always around, so I never had to look far when I needed something (which was quite often). I was always met with a smile and outstanding attitude. Whatever the future holds, I can't wait to book another event here. We are grateful for such a special venue and epic party!
