From the moment we reached out to him for assistance, he was very organized, responded promptly, and was very informative when there were things we didn't quite understand. I had used other consultants in the past that were not as organized or knowledgeable and needless to say, they did not deliver positive results. This place is a scam and does not protect your personal and confidential information…read more Essentially they recommend to you that you include every good or service that you purchased over the prior tax year as a tax write off. I was conservative in my reporting of my expenses and they took my financial information and whittled my AGI to just over $2000. This was 2.7% of my gross income. Through their method if you earn any money from doing any work outside of the work that is on your W2, you can deduct pretty much anything. This includes your groceries, streaming service fees, electric bill, grooming serviced, dining out, all miles that you drive... you get the picture. They do not have you claim a percentage of these costs, but in their entirety. According to them, because I sold a few things on Marketplace, I could claim that I was a reseller. They told me that my tax return would be $23,000. They use their own computer software to complete and submit your forms and file your taxed as "self prepared". They claim that the use international tax laws to find you these write offs. They are not certified CPA's. They are consultants. They charge a $150 consulting fee with an additional 15% fee based on the expected amount of your refund. Even more disturbing is that they sent me the personal and sensitive information of another client through their insecure pdf filler. I now have their names, complete social security numbers, dates of birth, address, and phone number. For your own protection, please reconsider using their services to protect you private data and avoid costly and time consuming tax audits.

Communication was inconsistent, and I repeatedly had to follow up for updates. The most serious issue involved an admitted oversight related to projected tax liability for 2026 (something I didn't ask for), which has caused hours dealing with the IRS and a moderate amount of stress. What left the worst impression was the response afterward. Rather than taking meaningful accountability for communication failures and oversight, the focus was placed on defending the return's technical accuracy and justifying the fee. The small "goodwill adjustment" offered felt dismissive given the amount of time and frustration involved. Accuracy is expected from a paid tax professional. Communication, attention to detail, and client support are what separate a quality firm, and unfortunately this experience fell short in those areas.
