Arcona products work well with my skin so I've been coming for years for the Deep Cleanse facials, which includes extraction. I used to mix in the Enzyme Peels, but I stopped as my skin is sensitive and the peels were a bit too activating. Brandi is my go to Esthetician. She's great about providing skin care tips, recommendations for products, and tailoring the facial for my skin concerns. The experience is very relaxing and calming. I was first introduced to Arcona products a few years ago by a friend. I recently moved to the area and was excited to finally visit their spa in person. I scheduled myself for the contouring facial and it was easy to book online. I went on a Friday morning and had no issue finding parking. The store is beautiful very clean and modern. The girl at the front desk showed me to the back where there was a small little waiting area which was nice too, comfy couch, low lights. My facial was done by Brandy and she was fabulous. I haven't had a facial since 2008. Brandy chatted with me a bit just asked if I was familiar with the products and if I had any questions and then got to work it was amazing. I had a concern about an area on my chest due to prior sun exposure I asked her if the pumpkin lotion I was using was good alone or should I add something else. She was like nope that's perfect just stick with it. She never tried to get me to buy any products whatsoever. I would highly recommend both Brandy and Arcona. I get facials A LOT. I'm a bit disappointed because the esthetician wore gloves the entire facial , I thought maybe that was their protocol , but after my facial I asked the front desk if the other estheticians also wore gloves and it didn't sound like it. I'm also just concerned as no question was asked of me if I'm allergic to latex - as I do have sensitivities to various materials. I would have not come here if I knew the facial would be done with gloves. I haven't had a facial with gloves ever in a higher end spa, I get pedicures that the technicians wear gloves when touching my feet but they're not touching my face . read more

I had the pleasure of visiting the studio! The visual appeal of the studio is very pleasing. Everything is pure perfection. It was insanely clean and very bright. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming and inviting. The fresh flowers and organized product were perfect touches. After I checked in I was taken to the back to fill out a questionnaire about my visit. I was offered a beverage and I chose water. It was delicious and had a hints of cucumber and lemon, very refreshing. That was a nice little treat. They seem to care a great deal about giving the client a relaxing luxurious experience. I then was greeted by the lady who was going to give me my facial. Her name was Leah, and she was nothing short of amazing. This was my first facial, and she made sure to make me feel more at ease and comfortable. The spa part of the studio was beautiful and comforting. Leah talked to me about my skin and examined it. She then chose which facial would best suite me. It was very refreshing having a facial that was geared towards my specific face. They aren't a one size fits all spa. And I wasn't treated like any random client. The bed that they had me lay on was heated and felt great. Leah talked me through everything and was very informative. She educated me on my skin and what products and life style choices I could benefit from. Her energy all in all was very calming. Her hands were absolutely magical. I've never been so relaxed and pampered it my life! Not only that but my skin (24 hours later) still feels like heaven. I even received a complement at dinner about how my skin looked refreshed. The actual facial was pure bliss. Leah took her time and made sure she gave me the best service. She definitely chose the best field, because one again her hands were magical. Never in my life have I received a massage as nice as that was. As it was time to leave I was greeted by more employees who were just as pleasant. Very classy spot. My first facial. I was skeptical but they delivered. And then some. Well done.

Five stars for the product but two or three for the studio. So much potential but they just are not there yet. I have visited the studio a couple times for facials, mostly for the product, not the esthetician and not for the spa since it really is not a spa, no sauna or steam or shower, just services. Also, the gentleman that works here is great at scheduling and knowledgeable on the products. I have called him a couple times asking for recommendations and he always gives me a lot of info on the product enabling me to make the best choice for my skin The facials are a little pricey here, you pay for the product. The last time I got a facial here, they gave me a card for 20 or 25 percent off my next visit. I called for an appointment but they were not open yet. They called me back and when I asked them about using the card they said no because I didn't have it on me. I left it at home. My recommendation is for any small business. Consider recording in your customer system who you gave an offer to. It would help us tremendously. I drove from two hours away before realizing I forgot the card. If they told me yes we can honor the card but we will record it that you used it so you cannot use it again, that would have also been a perfectly reasonable solution. Instead I found another, less expensive spa right down the road that didn't require me to find a card I was given months ago. There are lots of options in Santa Monica. Consider buying Arcona online (it's cheaper) and visiting other spas in the area for more unique, accommodating service. read more

I really feel very highly about this skin studio and I use many of their signature products. Arcona is the only place I go to for facials currently. I've had a couple Enzyme Peel facials by Patrice (who is no longer here), Chanel did my Signature Contouring facial a couple months back and last week I opted for the Purifying Oxygen Facial w their enzyme peel which was performed by Leah. Each time i visit from out of town, i feel very well recieved here by staff. No snobbery or rudeness, that one might be apprehensive about since they are in Beverly Hills. Quite the opposite thank goodness. A beautifully appointed space with calming qualities yet opulent as well. Each treatment room is clean, calming and a retreat. No street noises, just soothing spa sounds. This last treatment, Purifying Oxygen facial, was my favorite to date. Enzyme peel(exfoliation, not a true peel), amazing shoulder and neck massage, pure oxygen for your face, and LEDs highlight this treatment. Leah was a gem, and i felt like pampered the whole time. She has quite the flow and its very soothing. Can't say enough good things about Arcona. And fwiw, I am a medical aesthetician, who does laser and other advanced treatments to my own face, but for a facial i much prefer to receive them here. I came on a Sunday, and I guess no one wants to work on a Sunday.....Which could explain it, not really, but whatever...... It was an average experience. It was soooooo hella average! My treatment did not show any actual improvements. For the price point, I would rather go to Burke Williams, or some accredited beauty school. Just not special. The only highlight is, the studio is beautiful, and posh. The service is snooty, since I'm not a flashy rich person, or a celebrity. I was very disappointed for the average experience. I had expectations of lavish Arcona studios! A skin center where celebrities go to for their red carpet ready skin! Offering an experience that would make me envious of the 1%, but it was an overpriced *YAWN*! I was under the impression they would at the minimum focus on improving my skin and how to work towards better skin, instead just a list items to buy and no time to go over the products with common folk, like myself. I love the products when I purchase them from Nordstrom. Purchasing the product is what excited me to try Arcona studios to experience a skin treatment from a professional Acorna skin therapist. But it was just another esthetician, forced to work on a Sunday. Parking was very difficult to find. Arcona studios, was such an underwhelming overpriced experience. Had such a lovely little spa. I wish I did not wait so long to write my review, because I do not remember the name of the woman who gave my facial but she was superb. I had the contour facial and I will be a repeating customer. We had wonderful conversation and everything she did was amazing. I have gotten many a facial before, but this felt special. I look and feel 20 years younger, and I am quite beautiful to begin with. They only let one person inside the building at a time, and it was so lovely to have absolute privacy. I even had to pee mid-way through, and was able to go to the restroom shirtless without fear of any peeping toms catching a peek. They gave me many samples of face wash and moisturizer at the end as well, which was very nice. I just ran out and will need to get more! Which reminded me to write this review. This review is long overdue, but here it is. I had already been using some of their products before coming to the spa, so I was really excited to experience a full on Arcona facial, and first came to the spa for my birthday weekend last August (had booked Leah for the Men's Performance Facial). During the facial, it was so nice to talk with Leah because she's so knowledgeable with anything relating to skin! She had let me know that my skin type was combo (no esthetician in my previous years of getting facials elsewhere had ever told me this before), and I was so surprised to hear that because I've always thought that I always had "problem skin" since I have always constantly broken out. The facial itself was pretty incredible (there was cleansing, some extractions, a salicylic acid treatment to some stubborn blemishes, a peel, and I think a nourishing mask) and I was AMAZED by the immediate and lasting results. I could not believe how smooth, plump, and just overall healthier my face looked, I keep looking in the mirror! To keep up the results of the facial, I have been using strictly just their products, and I also break out a lot less, especially after knowing what Leah told me about my skin type (although there have been moments where I've tried a product from a different brand, and no matter how "clean" the other brand thinks they are, I break out, then regret it, then wonder what was I thinking??? then go back to using just Arcona). Ever since that first amazing facial, I've made it a point to come here whenever I'm visiting LA since I don't live in the area, and I've repeated the same facial and also the Purifying Oxygen Facial (again, amazing, incredible, skin smoothing/glowing results). Okay, I'm kind of afraid to write this review because I don't want y'all to take my appointments with Brandi. That being said, she (and Arcona) have completely changed my life. I'm in my late twenties and I suffered from severe acne for most of my adult life. I had my ups and downs with my skin but starting from the age of 16 I went on and off antibiotics, tried and retried proactive, got facials monthly (sometimes even more frequently) at Kate Sommerville, took birth control to help my skin, and even gave up gluten and dairy free for 6 entire months to no avail before finally finding Arcona. By a happy accident, I was told about Arcona by a girl in a workout class after complimenting her gorgeous glowing skin. She told me her skin had been worse that mine, something truly hard to believe at this point, and that she had been through two unsuccessful rounds of Accutane before finding Arcona. I'm lucky enough to live down the street and her skin was so beautiful, so I decided to give it a go. This was after making the decision to go on Accutane, btw. So, I held off Accutane and decided to give Arcona a three month trial run. If I had a before and after picture I wouldn't dare post it online but the results have been truly life changing for me. My skin is completely clear, my scarring is healing, and I finally get to let my husband touch my face without fear of breaking out. I agree to get in pictures instead of taking them. I actually leave my house to hang out with people outside of work instead of staying in due to embarrassment and total shame. I even went to work today with nothing but under-eye concealer and mascara! It has now been over a year and I get facials monthly with Brandi at the Arcona Studio and I use their cleasing (and anti-aging) products exclusively. I am so passionate about this product that I told my husband the other day I would actually cry if they ever discontinue their products. It's expensive. I totally get it. And after trying and failing to remedy skin issues again and again, it can be hard to feel it's worth it to spend that money. BUT, if you're in a place with your skin that it's effecting your daily life, I really urge you to give Arcona a try. I don't work for them and there is zero incentive for me to write this review; I am just so grateful that I finally found something that works for me. I wish you luck, fellow acne havers. There is the constant stream of organic products that come with the promise of the sun, moon and stars to clean & treat your skin just as great as the high pricey ones do. And, let's get real - more often than not, they don't, am I right? I agreed with that all-encompassing theory until I stumbled onto Arcona's products and magical enzyme peel. Aesthetician brandi believes that the best way to some serious epidermal enlightenment is the old-fashioned way - manually, religiously, & regularly. I love that she believes in double cleansing the skin as I never thought much about it, but have noticed since I took her advice, my pores are much more cleaner, skin is much more brighter and products penetrate much more deeper. After a 60-minute enzyme peel (which left skin glowing not inflamed red) that includes an epic facial contour manipulation (think pilates for the face) in her tough-loving hands, it's going to be hard to go back to any other spa. Extractions were so light to the touch that I had to ask her twice if she even did them. But, the pore-perfect results I saw two days later tell me she's worth every copper penny I earn. So, I'll be back. if you're into the baby fine touches of a detoxifying lymphatic massage, Antonia is your go-girl at Arcona. Hands down- best facial I have ever had in my life!! Walking into the ARCONA studio you instantly feel relaxed and taken care of. Everything is perfectly clean and beautiful. Their quiet room has essentials such as tea, water, nuts and then adorable mini Lindt Truffle bags! Yum! Melissa was my esthetician today and she was a dream. She was very attentive to my particular skin needs and customized my facial perfectly. The products she used were all delicate and natural (of course) but very effective as well. Why would anyone use a nasty chemical peel when ARCONA offers such a magnificent one derived from things like papaya and pumpkin?! Not to mention it smells delicious! The facial contouring massage was like nothing I have ever experienced. Melissa's fingers worked magically at contouring my face so that my cheekbones stood out more - something that even the best blush cannot do for me! Through out the time that the enzyme peel was absorbing in, I was treated to a lovely neck and shoulder massage. The stress melted away instantly! Melissa was actually able to work out some pesky knots that had been bothering me for quite some time. I left pleased as punch with a glowing complexion and a new found love for ARCONA. Even my boyfriend commented on how smooth and bright my skin looked! Bottom line: the facial was exceptional as is all their products. You simply cannot go wrong when you are in their talented hands. This is a fancy shmancy day spa in LA (that I have never actually been to, but would like to visit...) that also sells their fancy shmancy skin care line online. ARCONA (they always put it in caps) is fabulous. It's a line of natural, holistic stuff that actually WORKS and doesn't leave you smelling like you rolled around in a garbage disposal (sorry, but the last organic line I tried stunk..) It's not the cheapest stuff around, but if you start out with one of their "basic five" kits you will see results immediately. If you are tentative about the cost, I suggest buying one of their travel kit sets (much cheaper) to give it a trial run. I have only been on this stuff for a few weeks and my skin is already much healthier, doesn't feel as stripped (like some chemical cleansers tend to do) and most of it smells really lovely, to boot. It's really the only natural line of skin care products that I do feel works better than the hard stuff. I can also point out that their customer service rocks - the first shipment arrived with an error and they went ahead and fixed it in less than 48 hours, and sent a bunch of free samples on top of it. An esthetician from their salon also emails you when you place a new order to offer a free consult over email or the phone... Very nice! The next time I'm in the area, I do plan to stop in - but for now I'm quite happy with their skin care line at home. Two thumbs up! read more

Made my first visit to Arcona today after walking by it regularly for a year. Calm inside, great smelling products, good facial. My skin is now glowing and my the time I spent there feels like a patch of serenity in an otherwise crazy day. The aesthetician went ahead with her recommended service based on my skin... and I was afraid to ask how much it would be, but it turned out to be quite reasonable at $115. I had a fabulous facial here when I purchased a Gilt City coupon for an enzyme peel. The peel felt refreshing and while there were not extractions involved, my face came out glowing and radiant. I had Denise as my esthetician and she's great. One of my major gripes about getting facials is that when masks go on, the estheticians usually leave the room. My feeling is, if I'm paying $100+ for less than an hour of your time, I better be getting primped for the full time period. In that regard, Denise was awesome. While the masks were on my face I got a shoulder massage and hand massage that put me right to sleep. I was also sent home with a fairly large travel sized kit of basic products for my skin type and after using the stuff for about 2 weeks, I can definitely see a difference in my complexion. Knock on wood, but I've got pretty decent skin, i.e., no acne issues or excessive lines, but I've noticed that with age my skin doesn't have the same glow it used to have and started to get dry patches if I forget to use moisturizer at night. I've used Fresh's Cream Ancienne and LaMer to try to combat these issues without really noticeable results. But using Arcona's products have helped. My skin looks and feels healthier and plump. Someone else said it perfectly... their products ARE legit! Usually, all natural ingredients mean the product doesn't work as well. Not so with Arcona products. They do what they're meant to do and then some! Theirs is one of the purest, cleanest ingredients lists I've seen. I LOVE their kiwi cleansing bar, the magic white ice hydrator and the hair products ROCK. The body lotions are great too (a little goes a looonnggg way), the wine hydrating mask is luscious and gets the job done. I've tried a lot of their products... they all work wonders and smell incredible with one exception: the primo amino shampoo comes in a small bottle and I found it to be very drying! Customer service was lacking the last time I checked (which was awhile ago, as I now order their products through Beauty.com). Absolutely phenomenal experience this morning at The Arcona Studio. I'm from LA originally, but live out of town now, and have been using Arcona products for many years. I really wanted to get my skin evaluated and update my routine, so I called and scheduled an appointment - the lovely lady I spoke with evaluated my needs and scheduled me with Leah, with whom she said I would be best matched. She was right! Leah was wonderful, brilliant, talented and filled with so much priceless information. I truly appreciated all the extra time she spent getting to know me, my needs (skin and overall wellness) and giving me personally tailored information. Truly generous of her. The facial was nothing short of heavenly. And, my skin looks so much healthier (and happier!). I'm very grateful for the work she did and the tweaks she made to my skincare routine. I'm definitely making plans to see her again next time I'm in town :) Arcona is the best skincare line, bar none, and this is the most impressive skin studio. Gilt City had a deal going on and so I checked out Yelp before purchasing. I couldn't believe just how high Arcona rated on Yelp and thought I should definitely try them out. I have been needing to find new places to replace all my old indulgences in the LBC, so why not go with a good deal on a good place? In reading the reviews, what stood out the most was that everyone rated the product itself as particularly great. I haven't been loving my current product, Dermalogica, much lately - not for any reason except that it just doesn't feel like anything special anymore, and I have often considered switching over to more natural products so this ticked off another reason to check out Arcona. I have frequented other businesses in other Archstone buildings without issues regarding parking, but apparently you don't get the courtesy with this Archstone. This made my arrival particularly stressful since traffic had already delayed me a couple of minutes and then I was told they would not let me in, but that I could instead park around the corner for 3 free hours. The 3 free hours is great, it's the getting into the lot that's the problem. So, heed the warning: get there early and park in the lot across from the old Michael's on 4th. The staff were very nice when I arrived late, and despite my flustered state, assured me it was all good and encouraged me to chill out, as one should when they're about to indulge. Melissa was the esthetician who worked on me and she was a delight. We talked, laughed, and touched on some subjects one should never discuss in a first meeting. It was that good, and funny. In a flash my facial was over, but not without Melissa answering every question I had along the way and giving me her insights into my skin care needs. We discussed my current use of Dermalogica and that it's time for me to consider a more "grown up" approach to my facial care needs. Melissa provided me with a generous amount of samples to try, and instructions on how/when to use them all... Cleanse/Tone: Kiwi Cream Bar - Super nice! Felt great and left my skin so smooth. White Tea Purifying Cleanser - Feels good, and my skin is nice and smooth again. Cleanse/Exfoliate: Golden Grain Grommage - gritty, but feels like one of the best exfoliators I've ever used. Triad pad - these are for those times I was lazy and didn't want to fully wash my face. They're cool, but I found, just like any other lazy wash towel that it doesn't get my eye make up off all the way. Regenerate: Gentle Solution - used every other night, left on alone. I like the convenience of it. AM Serums: Booster defense serum - feels nice, nothing remarkable noted. Hydrate: Peptide Hydrating Complex - This feels SO good! Fresh and minty. I like this a lot, but the sample went quick! Eye Treatments: Eye Serum (firm) - I received a large sample of this as part of my Gilt City deal. I like it. We'll see how it works over time. Desert Mist (protect) - I hated the smell at first, but I've gotten used to it. I think this is the one product I'm not sure I get and and would discuss with the staff when I go back, just for a review. Ultimately, I love the feel of the products. I would need to use them long term to see any effects, but I immediately FEEL great skin when I do. I am currently waiting to use up the rest of my jumbo bottles of Dermalogica before moving on, but Melissa was so awesome that she mailed a coupon for me to use when I do make the switch! The studio itself is lovely with a nice waiting area that is discreetly tucked away from the boutique at the front. They have water and snacks, which is always a plus in my book, and it's a nice, relaxing environment in which to allow the troubles of the day to fall off your shoulders. (4 stars for the studio itself). The products are a mixed bag. I love the philosophy behind them, but didn't love them all. I bought one of the kits that they offer at the front--good value and size for the price. I feel like this is pretty typical for products, though, as it's rare to love an entire line. Came here to get a facial, courtesy of my sister-in-law, and I was hoping to get Melissa, but I got Brandy (I didn't request anyone specifically, so my bad). She was nice and knew that since I was breastfeeding, my skin was on the drier side. She gave me an enzyme fruit peel, which was tingly and eventually made my skin very itchy later on that night. For the most part, the facial was great, my face felt very refreshed and dewy. Brandy put sunscreen on my face before I left to ensure that my skin would be protected and left me some samples to try at home. Arcona studio is nice and clean, very relaxing, but it's not a full on spa so don't expect to take showers, or go into a sauna. There is parking available in the front but it's metered and it's capped at 1hr. So you should have enough time to get your facial and come out without a ticket, unless you get something longer than an hour. As for my face itching later on that night, I do have sensitive skin, and maybe I should have curtailed my enzyme peel short when brandy asked me how my skin felt midway, but now I know. read more

Had a great experience here. I was disappointed that they switched my facial and massage around because it really does not make any sense to have a facial before a massage. It was also my first facial ever and I just might have to go back and get another one. This says alot considering I hate having my face touched. Side note... There is NO parking. You have to park in one of the garages around the corner or park on the street! read more

I finally visited the Studio after much life procrastination. My girlfriend and I made Enzyme Peel Contouring Facial appointments long in advance to lock it in. We both LOVED our Contour facial w/Enzyme peel. Our skin which was in great need of a facial peel & workout looked amazing and like a baby afterwards. Skin care specialist here and spa Service Provider for over 10 years. First off my booking disappeared and the facility itself is what we call DRY. This means very very limited access to any form of hydrotherapy. You can wash your hands however, unless my experience there was limited due to the unimportance of my appt in the first place. *see scheduling. Since my appt was never booked I received a service from the on call therapist whose experience was limited as well. No one can really fumble a 4 step cleansing application, now can they? The facial was 95 dollars and they "fit you in" if this level of service is requested. Do not bother scheduling. It was 45 minutes, the massage was very weak and I was showered in samples but not one specifically for my individual skin concerns. I rescheduled because I told her I would, the skin care provider promised me several referrals and I did not get one. It was a generation tip for a new school provider but I am a woman with integrity. Does this Spa have integrity? No. read more
