Horrible experience. They rented my assigned apartment to someone else and no one told me until move-in day. I had to open the door and notice someone else had already moved in!! I was almost left without a place to live Too many problems with staff returning my mail and being rude about it. Management can give you the brush off. The Arch was my first apartment after college. I had a few things that I thought could improve but overall it's a really good community. Getting your own room with restroom and having a spacious living room and kitchen furnished was a great package! Although people complain about the little things the fact that they allocate the amenities and you don't have to do it is very helpful. Stephanie, the Assistant Manager, was so nice and very helpful! She was able to assist me in anything I needed and be able to break down anything I had questions on. Over all compared to other Denton apartments I definitely recommend! read more

Management has single handedly ruined this property. It was the best in Denton for the price last year, but since the change, it completely fell apart. The new units were delayed extensively. Deadlines were worth nothing. When we finally got in, several appliances were broken and we were told that they wouldn't be fixed because at move in week there was no maintenance man. How the hell does that go? It is an absolute battle to get Autumn or the rest of management to help with the simplest of problems. IT's been three months since move in and our freezer still won't produce ice. We've had it looked at more times than I can count and every time it's shrugged off. A month ago we were promised plastic ice trays, but that still has yet to be done. And don't think I haven't called and visited periodically to check on progress. It just will not get done. Besides my unit, the rest of the property has completely gone to hell. The pool was filthy with no ambition to change on labor day weekend. The gym was indefinitely closed upon move-in because of a flood. Instead of fixing it, they just opened it back up. You can obviously smell the mold from the flood - nothing was replaced. The fitness room is now a storage room for management to keep buckets of paint and apartment doors. And all the balconies around the office have been completely trashed. One is even being used by a homeless man as a rent-free apartment. read more

I had to intervene when I saw this place had a four star rating! I really didn't want to live here, I had a roommate who worked as a leasing agent at this complex. (We'll call her Jennifer). Jennifer gave me some inside knowledge of the corrupt inner workings of the place. Basically everything they promised was a lie, and they knew it. When I signed my lease the apartments weren't even built yet, and the model home they had was a complete lie. The furniture that comes with the apartment was not how it was in reality, the kitchen was way smaller than promised and the move in date was pushed back many times due to them being behind in construction. The kitchen had ONE drawer to put things in. ONE! The atmosphere feels like that of a dorm room, the walls are paper thin and you won't be going to bed until 5am because the occupants like to hang out in the parking lot and scream... IF YOU TAKE ANYTING AWAY FROM THIS REVIEW PLEASE READ THIS! Every month when I went to go pay, they would tell me I owed them money in late fees... when I was NEVER late. I would have to gather my bank statements and check stubs every month to prove this fact even though every month they said they would take care of it. They also ran one of my checks through twice... this is check fraud and my bank reccommended I sue. (Of course I didn't, I'm a student I can't afford that legal battle). The leasing attendents were always on the phone making personal calls, or very unhappy with their life and would not be friendly or helpful. Finally, the pool area is in the middle of a quad of apartments. The sun only stays on it for a brief period of the day before it goes behind the buildings. My friend lived here this past year and but would go over multiple times a week and stay the night sometimes. I've become VERY familiar with this apartment complex as she's had many many many problems with her apartment, roommates, rent, etc. and I would go with her to deal with them and visit the office/talk to the staff. First off, THEY TOW LIKE CRAZY. I had to pay $400 to get my car back (granted I didn't park in visitors but the sign is VERY misleading). Another girl I know got her car towed WHEN SHE HAD A PARKING STICKER. There is also very limited visitor parking. The damn gates to enter don't even close!!! They recently installed those dumb ass bars that raise up when you punch in a code after 10/11 pm but they're so flimsy and cheap and shitty that they fly around like jello. They move so fast I have to slam on the gas to get in or else it'll hit my car. AND IT DID ONCE. At one point someone hit the bar and it broke and was dangling, flying up and down, making it nearly impossible to enter or leave the apartment without having your car get smacked. And no one did anything for a few weeks about it. It was seriously dangerous. Now for the residents- trash. The residents are complete trash. I've witnessed it first-hand and my other friends who live here complain about the other residents. They are just trashy, inconsiderate people who have no class or care about others. I'm not talking just a few- I'm talking about the entire apartment complex as a whole. I'm not quite sure why trash seemed to collect here. The maintenance is RUDE and does not give a damn about their residents. My friend called to complain about her drunk roommates THREATENING HER and the staff STILL never did anything. My friend had to resort to calling the police. They will tell you they will hang up on you if you are angry and complaining about something. They will tell you they will call you back and they never do. You can go straight into the office and try to confront whatever problem you have and they will brush it off and say they'll let someone else know. The staff at the office will laugh at you if you are having issues with your roommates that you need the staff to help with. The walls are paper thin, there is dog crap everywhere and no one cleans it up. The AC does NOT cool your apartment at all. The apartments are scorching hot and the vents are connected so if someone is smoking or cooking in another unit then you can smell it in your room too. My friend's entire apartment smelled like weed all the time because of her neighbors. Overall it's just a shitty apartment. Again I did not live here but I've witnessed enough to want to encourage anyone else to live elsewhere and save them the pain. Maybe it was a mix of some very, VERY bad roommates, but aside from shitty roommates the Grove is still shitty. Please don't live here it is not worth the money. My daughter came to visit a friend for a bit. She parked in the visitor parking area, which is what you do when you go to an apartment complex. Still, her car got towed and I had to pay hundreds to get it out for her. We came to learn that you have to be registered with an app. No initial warning or anything. What a terrible way to treat your tenants guests. I guess it is worth it to them to get an extra dollar. You can determine by all the other terrible reviews that this is a horrible place to live. The Arch is not a safe or nice place to live. The staff is very rude and never helpful. I've been living in an apartment that is covered in mold from a leak in the apartment above us. It has be almost three weeks now and the management has done nothing to fix it. I've gone to the office every day this past week telling them to fix it and i get the same answer "We will send someone tomorrow". Oh and also there is a train that runs 50 ft from the complex and blows its horn every two hours. It is so loud that you have to plug your ears if your out side. **UPDATE** (9/28/2017) Lets talk about the tow problem. The Arch allows "Texas Impound Services", a company that is currently under investigation for illegal "predatory towing practices ", to drive around the complex in the middle of the night and illegally remove cars. They recently posted a notice making it mandatory for visitors to register their car if they want to park on the property. So if I want to have friends over I have to ask them to download an app an register their car before they come over. That is beyond annoying and frustrating. If they do not register their car it will be towed even if its in a visitor parking spot. Oh and the registration is only temporary!!! So they have to register every time they come over. It also doesn't notify you when it expires. The arch does not care about the residents living here. If you dont plan on being a part of any Grove activities then you might find that Grove is pretty decent. They have furnished apartments. Rent for one room (if you sign your lease early enough) is 636.45. Granted, this rent varies. For instance, I resigned my lease at the earliest convenience and my rent ended up being 650. Which is bullshit. They should've kept it the original. Grove has a shitty fining system, and they try and fine you for stuff you didn't do when you move out. My roomates are leaving but they still charged a ridiculous amount of money for things that weren't there. They also claimed to fix all the stuff wrong with my room when I moved in, and wouldn't allow me to move in a day early. Even still, I showed up with my stuff, moved in a day before (I was living in student dorms for the summer and I had to leave that day-- some people dont have parents they can stay the night with). My floor still had stuff wrong with the tile. My desk chair was wobbly and unsuitable for sitting. They claimed to repaint my room but the white had patches of off white as if they didn't finish. They are still trying to fine my roomate for all of the "stuff they've fixed". Maintenance enter whenever. Dont even try to complain. It's useless. They don't even let you know what time they are coming. The smoke detector goes of so easily when you cook. Get used to turning it off. All in all, if you stay out of grove's way and live your life. Texas Impound Service's LLC sits at visitor parking waiting for someone to walk away from their car and then tows it. My daughters phone was dead and in the 5 min to walk to her friends apartment to have her register her they towed her. I would recommend you don't live here or your friends will be towed by this unethical company that they hired to make money off of college students. A tow is $188 dollars. Bad experience with apartment overall. I was first placed in a unit that was not clean with missing furniture pieces and damages that was more expensive and considered a "premium" unit. After the hassle, I was forced to downgrade to a 4th floor unit with the bathroom light hanging from the wires and a bathtub completely peeling. They informed me they will not fix the bathtub. They tow your guest cars within 10 minutes of them arriving and you're only allotted 3 days for your guest to park there throughout the week. I also recently went without internet for 6 days (our building was the only building) because of something the complex did on their end and was not offered any incentive or compensation due to the inconvience. Residents were also supposed to receive an incentive for moving in after 30 days and I've yet to recieve that as well. I signed my lease back in May for the 2016/2017 lease term and I honestly regret it. When I signed the lease I was told there was new management but even with the new management this place needs a lot of improvement. The actual apartment you get is NOTHING like what they show you on the tour. It's fully furnished but the couches, tables, chairs, desks and mattress's are in a BAD condition. The walls are very thin you hear everything the person living next to you is doing. I have put in several work orders for the apartment and it took them 2 months to actually get it done. RIDICULOUS! Move in day. I get there early and ask for my key, and the first thing they tell me is "Oh, you're THAT apartment room." "What?" "Oh, your room had damage everywhere. The sofa, the chairs, the walls, everything was damaged. But it's kay cuz we replaced some of it." Some of my friends moved in with black mold, smoke detectors that won't stop going off, washing machines that don't work, and destroyed furniture. I paid the first month's rent with a check, that the person at the front desk SAID went through, but a couple weeks later I get this email saying I haven't paid rent yet. I go in, saying that I did in fact pay rent, and they said the check didn't go through, and that I had to pay a $30 fine because of this. We go to my bank, and the bank says they have no record of any attempt on cashing a check, so the fine didn't come from the bank, it came from the Grove. After several phone calls with the Grove, telling them I absolutely will not pay any sort of fine for their mistake, the manager says "Don't worry about it, I'll take the fine for you." I should not have had to pay in the fine in the first place! A week or two after we move in, the internet craps out. The internet would fluctuate from 500 kb to 20. It was the worst internet I've ever used. McDonald's WIFI goes faster than this. We informed the manager about this, and what we got was "don't worry, it will better in a week." Well guess what? That one week turned into two, which turned into 3, which turned into a month, which turned into next month, which turned into somewhere within 30 to 90 days, AND IT'S STILL NOT FIXED! It has been a semester already and they still have not fixed the internet! Every other time I go in and ask if it's going to be fixed soon, half the time I get "I dunno, the manager is on another vacation." a couple months ago, people came into our apartment and changed out every single one of the filters in the faucet sinks and shower heads. They did this because they wanted to save money since I don't pay for water. What these new filters did is drastically reduced the water pressure. Water literally trickles out of my sink now. The shower is barely functional all because they wanted to save some money at the cost of my comfort. sometime after that, the glass globe that covers the lightbulb in my ceiling fell and shattered all over my floor. it happened at 11:30 PM. Luckily I wasnt sleeping and in bed, because that wouldve landed right on top of my leg. The grove had the audacity to blame it on me, when it clearly wasn't my fault. my friend complains to me how he paid rent last month, but the price they told him wasn't the price he owed, and apparently he still owes one dollar. They lied to him about the price, and are now forcing him to pay that 1 dollar or he will get fined. He doesn't have many checks, and doesn't want to wasted a check, but they won't accept cash. If we used a card, there would be a fine for it. It's January 10th, and our internet is still disgustingly slow. 300 ping at all times, and the manager says "It will be fixed after spring break!" You mean that thing 3 months from now!? It should've been fixed 5 months ago! My room is on the 3rd story and is overlooking a Taco Bell no less than 3 car lengths away. Right. Outside. My damn window. Every single time I try to go to sleep, I have to tone out the "Hello, welcome to Taco Bell, may I take your order?", which I can hear clearly because these walls are paper thin. I can hear word for word every single person's orders. Every one gets a plastic key and a plastic card. The plastic key is for the electronic readers on our doors, and the card is to open the gates. both are $100-150 to replace if it gets broken or lost. Guess what? The gates have not been closed once, so these cards are useless, and if we lose them we owe the Grove 150 bucks. One time I was leaving to go to work, and when I went to lock the door, I couldn't because there was something stuck in the keyhole. I managed to get it out, and it turned out to be part of my roommates key. He didn't even realize it had broken. He put it in, unlocked the door, and pulled out half of a key. He had to pay the Grove 100 bucks for it. This place is $590 a month, more with other monthly fees, which is usually about $13. So $600 for all of this. Before this, I lived at the Ridge; a place I would not recommend. That said, I had a much better time at that place than this garbage. The Ridge was $200 cheaper and had incredibly fast internet AND it's own WIFI. I would rather move back to the Ridge than continue to live here. DO NOT LIVE HERE! You WILL regret it! Half of the employees are immature, the internet is horrid, and it's overpriced. Edit: The awful staff members have been replaced with happy, energetic staff, the internet is really good, and the manager is working on fixing all problems. Avoid staying here at all costs. The management in office is ok but everything else is a nightmare. After spending my last two college years here I can say that managers give attitudes when you ask questions, fruit flies and spiders are a problem, they overcharge for items when moving out, and maintenance is slow about completing requests. I stayed at Midtown prior to here and didn't get any charges for "touch up" painting but here was given the cost of two 5 gallons of premium paint and a 20 pack of lightbulbs to replace two. When we moved in the washer and dish washer (still is) broken, (you'll have to put in several requests before they fix anything of yours. one of the doors did not shut, our couch was broken and still is and those are just a few of the many issues with this awful apartment. We've tried so many times for them to give us a new couch and a working dishwasher and treat our apartment for bugs but they haven't and we're living miserably because the management here is so horrible. The tour of the apartment looks great, but don't be fooled. This place will rip you off left and right. They will try and convince you to stay there but the residents of the Arch all agree, that if you want a nice bug free environment with good management, this is not the place for you. Most people do not renew their lease unless they got lucky with a bug free apartment. We weren't one of those people. If you're looking for good apartments in the same area, try the Forum, Republics, 1451, castle rock and mid town. I have two sons sharing a apartment at the Grove in Denton Texas. As a parent I hoped this would be a great experience. Sadly, this is only week 6 and the following has transpired !. Move In Day- during the 2 hour window for move-in a. the apartment had not been cleaned. There was urine and vomit on the 'pressed wood like paneling' which I almost yacked cleaning. b. the AC didn't seem to cool the unit below 80 degrees. Upon further discovery, a black molded AC unit filter was discovered by my builder husband. c. Paprika or curry was all over the insides of the cabinets. d. melted wax all over the desk of one of the bedrooms e. cigarette burns on the grunge infested window sills f. after nearly sinking to the floor (all 110 lbs of me) it was apparent the springs were shot in the couch. g. Numerous lighting fixtures either did not work at all or had no bulbs h. When went to hang up new towels, the towel bar falls out of the wall We were provided with a slick 'move in folder' which also provided a move in sheet we were to fill out immediately.We did as ordered. We noted the more significant items such as black mold . Six weeks ago this was turned in. They are extremely regimented regarding their $2,800.00 move in fee. Not so much on the maintenance. 2.2 weeks- My oldest son notes several seeping type places on the ceiling of his bathroom. Then, a bow in the ceiling tiles indicating a leak somewhere from above.Knowing the significance, he immediately goes to the front office and notifies them of this issue.Again, he asks to please ask the maintenance people to replace the black molded AC unit filter and other items on the list. 3. 4 Weeks after move in- My sons car apparently expired this September-the Grove was on it...they let us know this needs to be taken care of or they would tow the car. We were unaware of the expired sticker and responded immediately. We drove to Denton and brought our son another vehicle so that his could be serviced and inspected.Did I mention we still hadn't heard from maintenance? 4. 4 Week 1 Day- our son calls to say his car has been towed(no not the one with the expired inspection). My spouse contacted the office and they said that this car didn't have a Grove sticker and it wasn't parked in guest parking. Since there weren't any signs indicating this we asked 'So, how are we supposed to know this?' The woman told us there was a sign on the side of the front of the main office. Really? How were we supposed to see this uber small sign at 10:00 at night? $200.00 later we get our car back. No attempt by the Grove at Denton to help.Wait for it, how many maintenance calls????0000000000000000000000000 5. 5 weeks after move in- theres a eviction notice on the door for non payment- again, like good soldiers, we call. As it turns out the lease is not for the 12 months we were told. No, it is for 11 months and 10 days.How would we know this? 'your lease you were provided, lalalala' what lease? Oh well let me send you a copy.......... How about that maintenance guy???? We paid immediately.Still no maintenance...... 6 Weeks after move in-I am contacted by a friend of my son who indicates that the leak and the condition of this 'luxury apartment' are much worse than I thought. He had been in construction before and feared the leak was so bad that the flooring could give way. At 6:30 PM I contact The Grove in Denton; I called 5 TIMES and EACH TIME was placed into a looping auto answer. I even pushed #2 for property emergency and the voice mail was full. Did I also misunderstand the hours when they said they are open till 7:00? I worked for a university and understand the conditions plus random craziness. There is a place to step up and say the conditions are unlivable. These apartments are over $220.00 per square foot. Ask yourself what you think is appropriate. Additionally, they do take debit or credit cards. However, using a debit card renders a additional charge of $42.00 per bed. So cash is frowned upon at the Grove in Denton. They prefer the old fashioned way. Parents, be sure your student has a check book. Has identity fraud never occurred to this property company, especially with a student population? Okay parents, do you think your student should become a tenant at THE GROVE IN DENTON?? If you value your car, prefer they live with vomit, urine , black mold or a tub potentially falling on top of them??? then, yes!!! Wait, be sure you have provided a lighter though; burning their parents money will never be easier....... And no, we have never heard from maintenance.My son who has asthma has had a perpetual bronchial cough since the day they moved in. Just moved in. Pretty good so far. However the walls are thin, and some of the apartments are next to train tracks. All rooms are spacious; closet, bedroom, even the bathroom. This place is still terrible. I was sort of forced to resign because I didn't have any other options, and if anything it's gotten worse. They just got a new management system, and they like to say that things are different now and that they're better. THEY ARE SO WRONG. There's a major mosquito problem right now, and they keep saying they're going to come spray, but I've had to resort to calling every day to check, because each day they give me a different date, and tell me that my apartment isn't on the list to be sprayed. Oh, and by mosquito problem, I mean my roommates and I have killed 6 inside our apartment in the last week. My apartment was supposed to be sprayed for mosquitos in October, and nobody ever showed up. Plus, they now won't run money orders in front of you because the new manager has to be present (she's only here for about 3 hours a day according to the staff, by the way). Apparently they never ran my roommate's through the system because despite the fact that she has the slip from the money order, they're telling her she owes. So...they lost my roommate's rent....This is what happens when you have poor management and a bunch of 19 year olds working in the office. Not to mention whenever work is required in your apartment (the sprinklers is the latest thing they're having to update, presumably because they're unsafe) they give you a really broad time frame, like "the next 5 days between 9 and 5." So you never know when someone is going to come into your apartment, and they never leave a note/send an email telling you what was done or if anything else needs to be done. And the parking problem I mentioned in my last review? Still a problem. Except now they've limited visitor parking even more. The on-site security officers never answer their phones, and the on-call phone doesn't get answered either. So if you have an emergency and it's after 5-6pm, you're completely screwed. Don't live here, you guys. There are better, cheaper apartments in Denton. read more

On 8/20/15 we stepped into The Grove, Denton in search of immediate housing for my son. He had previously signed a lease, sight unseen by us, that previous spring. The place that stepped into was catastrophic at best. I live 600 miles away, nerves frayed and stressed, we stepped into The Grove to inquire about leasing. The Grove was a great place for my daughter to stay for two years....right up until it came time to move out. After hours of cleaning the apartment and making it perfect, we were hit with ridiculous fees for cleaning, painting, a drip pan, a light bulb, etc. Three months after she moved out, I received a threatening email from a sleazy collection agency saying this was their third and final attempt to collect $176. We had not received any prior communication. It's a shame that the move out was handled like this. These people are preying on college students and then threatening to ruin their credit. This apartment location's biggest issue is its office staff. They are basically non-functional. The goal appears to be to ignore issues and hope they go away. They are extremely young and lack customer service skills. This would not be a great choice for student living. It is basically a hunt to capture tenants to ignore once a lease is secured. Horrible place to live. Save your sanity by bypassing this complex. read more

This is my first year living by myself, and it has been a pretty nice experience. The staff I've interacted with are very friendly and welcoming, and i love the events they have for residents, especially the food truck Fridays. I would like to see more Korean food trucks read more

Living at the grove as been a pretty good experience. Haven't had any major problems yet, one thing I wish was different was the trash service. Living on the 4th floor taking out the trash is EXTREMELY hard. If valet trash service like the forums were available I would have loved it! Plenty of parking but could have more guest parking. Good management, they always get things done on time! read more

As a parent of a College student living in these apartments I can tell you to not waste your time or money moving your son or daughter here. I have never seen a property run so poorly. The parking is ridiculous along with the limit of guest each resident can have over a week period. They need to remember that WE are paying them and to dictate how many guests you can have over a week is absurd. If you cannot handle parking, you should have made a larger parking lot from the start. This complex is obviously not compassionate to their residents at all. I suggest that The Arch of Denton take some responsibility in these issues unless they want to see a huge drop off in occupants. It's a very unclean property with poor Management severely lacking in professionalism. DO NOT MOVE HERE! read more

AWFUL. My problems with the Arch have been going on for well over a year. When I signed the lease they promised me my pick of where I would live because of my early sign up date. This was the first of many lies that the management team told me. Next, I moved into an apartment on the FOURTH floor with no elevator after requesting a first story apartment, to find it trashed. There was a hole in the wall, a broken dishwater, broken toilet, cracked tub, broken bed frame, the list goes on. Despite having nearly 2.5 weeks of PAID time to fix all of this before I ever moved in, they couldn't seem to fix anything in a timely manner. I had to send them a letter formally requesting these fixes and threaten them with legal action before they did anything. Now, when I FINALLY think I'm free they came back and tried to charge me $225 for things they still didn't fix almost seven months after I moved out. Do yourself a favor, don't live here. They're liars and cheats and will exploit you. read more

Things started badly- they said they would have our individual bedrooms unlocked on move in day. Was mine unlocked? No. I let the front desk know and they happened to lose my key. I wasn't able to move in until the next day. There is no privacy. Maintenance will walk in without any warning, but they will say "Maintenance!" before entering. I would prefer some sort of notification letting me know so I'm not in the shower or changing. The walls are paper thin. I can hear the people coughing next door. Our light in our kitchen actually fell and shattered because the people above us were walking. Speaking of the light, it took over 2 months to replace the lamp after I put in multiple orders. The first time they came by and said they had to order it, a month and a half later- still nothing. The cable is terrible. We have 3 TV's in our apartment- every one of them fuzzy. Maintenance apparently "fixed" one of them but it's not much better. The internet is terrible as well. I can't even load a YouTube video or show on Hulu. The people in the office have no idea what they're doing. They are all typical college students that are working there for cheaper rent. Overall, I would suggest NOT living here. Take your money elsewhere, because this place is extremely overpriced and you will just be frustrated in the end. read more

I came from Gateway of Denton. Comparing The Arch to them, its way better to live here! Its so quiet, no loud parties or neighbors. They got new lighting on the outside and in the halls of every apartment that it feels safe to walk my dog out at 2 am in the morning. The managers are wonderful people. The staff in the lobby can answer any question you have and if they can't they get a response from their managers. The maintenance is very quick to fix things. The parking for visitors is a little bit more effort then most apartment complexes but it makes sense, for they want to make sure people aren't living here that are not on the lease. When you sign a lease and show up for move in day, they let you know your visitors must park in visitor parking lot AND you must register their car through the Permit App. Not really sure how more simple they can tell people. So, the people below me that have a problem with this, then they do NOT listen. Also, the folder they give you, has all this information in it. There is three reasons I didn't give them 5 stars. First reason, the main gate is always open. When I first moved in, they told me its broken. Well my roommate that has been here for almost 2 years says they tell people that all the time. So, I don't like it how we are paying for a fenced apartment when ANYONE can come in and out whenever they want to. This should be a security problem to them. Second reason, the dog park they have is all the way in the back and at night its pitched black. What they need to do is get lighting out at that dog park and make a second one in the court yard. I say the court yard, because a lot of people have their dogs off leash. The only annoying part about this is they don't listen to their owners/roommates. I am fine if you have your dog off leash and they listen to you, then go ahead (which some can do this). Third reason, they pay a security company to come do rounds every night. There was an incident where we needed a cop. I am sorry, but I think that security company is taking their money and not doing their job. I take my dog out regularly and I have NEVER seen this security company they claim that they pay. They really need to get a Denton cop to stay on the property. When I see a cop car in the apartment area, makes me feel more safe. If they fixed these three things, then I would give all 5 stars. I also thinking about renewing with them, I just don't know what I'm doing when I graduate. read more

I honestly don't know where to start. Recently I was abruptly awakened in the middle of the night to my kitchen totally flooded and my toilet stopped up. I had no idea if it was sewer water or what was going on (it turned out to be two separate issues) Back last winter my heat wouldn't work, so I called to have the issue fixed. The repair man showed up way later than expected, due to poor communication on his part and stayed till after 1AM in the morning trying to fix the problem. I would've much rathered him just tell me that he couldn't fix it instead of wasting my time. All in all, the situation was handled very unprofessionally. The sad thing is that it's not any one person's issue, but rather the parent company that they work for. I have honestly met some really nice people who work at The Arch (and some really nasty ones too) Oh and not to forget mentioning little Ellis. This young boy is seriously the most rude, self-assured, unhelpful and the list goes on of names to describe him. And what's so ironic about it is that he claims to be the "manager" when I've never seen him successfully manage a situation in my entire two years at the arch. Whatever you do please just don't rent from the arch it will save you much heart ache and hassle in the long run. read more

Don't live here if you plan to have any visitors. They have a deal with the towing company so they can make money off towing. It would be easier to make money if they were managed properly and had good maintenance. They'd rather rip people off. read more

STUDENTS BEWARE..their roommate matching is a joke. Helped my little sister get an apartment her and was her guarantor and they put her with two non students that acted more like her parents than roommates. We tried getting on of the contract but were told it would another $500 after first & last month payments we had already made the previous day. Please as a college student try & find student only housing this is totally unsafe to have 19yr olds and 30 something's living together ??? read more

I absolutely HATE this place. There is definitely a place better to go. ANYWHERE. There is always, always, ALWAYS a problem when I have to pay my rent. They are always adding on fees that I have to dispute and get taken off. EVERY MONTH. I paid my rent over the summer and one of the payments didn't go through. So instead of telling me, management let the late charges collect and didn't call me until the end of the month. I was PISSED. I have constantly having issues with my roommate smoking and their response is "we can't do anything unless we catch them ourselves." SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! My other roommate, let's pretend her name is Hailey, was terrified of the third roommate and didn't even want to leave her room. Their answer to her was there was nothing they can do unless something physically happens, then we would have to call the police. I lost a great roommate because they wouldn't do anything for her. I hated this place and would recommend everyone and anyone to find a place elsewhere. This is not the place to live. read more
