I was expecting a typical ice cream shop, a few tables and a counter. This is the cutest place and they were very welcoming! They had 12 flavors of ice cream, 14 toppings, sundaes, banana splits, lots of sizes, waffle cones and regular cake cones. They can make any milkshake and have lots of specialty coffees and frappes. The two girls working were so funny and nice. They took our Polaroid picture for their selfie wall. We sat down and enjoyed our choices. Rodney got a double scoop of vanilla with chocolate syrup in a cup. Mine was a single scoop of Salted Caramel in a cake cone. It had the sweet caramel flavor but you could still taste a hint of salt in every lick and it was the perfect softness. It had nestled into my cone so I didn't have to worry about it rolling off the top of my cone. It was really delicious! You won't believe how inexpensive it is. We got all this for only $6.40. Their hours are not very late, and I imagine there aren't a ton of passersby after dark but it's a little puzzling to me that they're not open at least until the evening in summer. The ice cream flavor selection is considerable. Given the setting, this is not a place you'd go for non-dairy frozen desserts, it is definitely ice cream. Their peanut butter cup flavor hit the spot for me. A seasonal raspberry truffle didn't quite; the raspberry flavor was strong, but there were some ice crystals and overall textural unevenness and the chocolate truffles were not present in sufficient numbers for my liking. There is also a store which houses a small amount of produce and other fresh and preserved items, as well as a deli counter with some prepared food. I didn't find a ton of interest outside of the ice cream I came for.
