Peaceful elegance without pretentiousness. If you know the difference. Beds and pillows are world class. The rooms appointed with real antique furnishings. Not cheap knockoffs. The gardens are relaxing and you MUST dine in the Terrace Restaurant. Breakfast of course. Dinner is essential. A trip to another place, not too far, yet just far enough. You can fly your jet in. Or motor your yacht. Or just take the car ferry like we do. Just make your reservation well in advance. If you want peace and quiet without the outside world, this is your home away from home.

Built in the 1800's, the Inn's main rooms display divine architectural details, walls of museum quality artwork pieces and antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries. All throughout the Inn, guests will discover a relaxed yet luxurious setting within the walls of this historical charmer. From the well-maintained and manicured gardens, divine cuisine compliments of Executive Chef Zach Prifti, to the gracious staff whose pleasure it is to make your stay as delightful as possible, every detail has been carefully considered. Walking through the front door feels less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at your own beautiful home in the heart of Edgartown. We were welcomed by the warm, attentive staff with delicious homemade baked goods and refreshing fresh lemonade, immediately making us feel at home. The rooms are beautifully designed, blending timeless New England charm with elegant, whimsical touches. Our room was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully appointed, complete with a charming kitchenette that made it feel as though we had the house all to ourselves. My dog is like my child, so he travels everywhere with me, and I especially appreciated how pet-friendly the Hob Knob is. The adorable dog-themed lamps added a fun touch, and my pup was thrilled to find Milk-Bones waiting for him in the room. Every detail reflected genuine thought and care, from the luxurious Frette linens to the Molton Brown toiletries. Nothing felt overlooked. The location is perfect--just a short walk to all the wonderful shops, restaurants, and charm of Main Street in Edgartown. At the same time, having an on-site parking lot made it easy to explore the rest of Martha's Vineyard by car. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious, and by the end of our stay, we found ourselves wishing we had booked a few more nights. The Hob Knob offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and hospitality, and I can't wait to return.

Pros: Perfect location. Within walking distance of shops and…read morerestaurants in Edgartown. Awesome toiletries The room has a fridge The window AC unit worked well The room was spacious They have bar right next to the pool Cookies, Milk and tea from 5-9. Keurig in room In the mornings they have muffins and coffee in the lobby. Cons: Shower doesn't have a door it's hard to gauge the water No elevator We arrived via Lyft around 915pm. We were immediately greeted and checked in. They had just finished their milk and cookie hour, but the lady was nice enough to get me some cookies to snack on since we were starving. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, but it's only three floors and the staff assisted with the bags The room was big and clean. The bed was comfortable. The toiletries were great. They lathered well and smelled great. The room didn't look dated like some of the reviews stated, but I think I read they had just been remodeled. I definitely recommend this hotel. Don't look anywhere else. Tip: There's a few liquor stores nearby if you're looking for inexpensive drinks There's a fast food sea food restaurant (Quarterdeck) right across the street from the bar that serves food late into the night

Me and my fiancé just had an intimate wedding in Edgartown. Our family and toddler stood at this hotel since our hotel did not allow kids. Never had I felt staff lack hospitality, common sense or courtesy like the staff at the Kelly House. One example, my dad (who is blind) had just checked out at 11 am and he left his bags at the lobby. At 12 noon he wanted to use a restroom was denied access since "he checked out". Was told to "find somewhere outside that has a bathroom". Never asked to help with luggage. Never opened doors. Never made eye contact or a hello, or a good morning. Continental breakfast normally consist of more than two items. In this case it was burnt coffee and some sweet muffin for which you have to ask for one by one. If your in a group of 4 or 5 and one person asks for a muffin don't you think you should ask if others from the group want any? So let's say you're an introvert who doesn't care about courtesy or a false advertised continental breakfast, or any form of hospitality. You just want a clean/nice place to sleep and leave. Well this place is not it. You have to tell the staff to clean. They only cleaned our room once during a 4 night stay.
