After several times of calling and applying for various jobs, checking on my applications, so on...I've given up hope with The Applied Companies. I applied through here and was offered an interview. I told them o was employed and that I needed certain times. They could not accommodate that which was fine I decided to take a longer lunch to interview for this position then. Well for over a week and some change they flaked or never called me each day. When they tried to reach out to set another interview I expressed how unprofessional they were and instead of giving me customer service they instead blamed me for everything when I threw the transcripts back in their face and told don't blame me for your failure to keep an appointment you set they because more unprofessional to the point where I told them I will be filing a complaint against them. The applied companies is the worst! I was contacted by Marlene- and she was very helpful at first. After 12 years in one career I was new to the job market. She had me come in and meet with Jennifer to see what jobs may be a good fit. After meeting with Jennifer, I interviewed for a job but was not chosen- which is no big deal, I was not their desired candidate. Jennifer reached out after to see if I would be interested In another position and I speedily said YES. I am not someone sitting around looking for unemployment, I am eager to find a new career path. That was about 4 weeks ago . After multiple attempts with me following up with Jennifer and Marlene- it is silence and I've not heard back. Poor management and horrible follow through. I guess once someone doesn't receive the first job they interview with- they toss you aside. read more

Applied Staffing Solutions emailed me about a position within their company internally and I jumped at the chance to interview for it. However, I didn't get a good feeling with the company as soon as I walked in. When I entered the office, I wasn't greeted by the receptionist. After waiting for a bit, I was called in to meet with one of their career advisers, who didn't greet me, as well. I was told that the position that I was emailed about was already filled but I could take a test to see if I qualified for another position externally if I wanted to. I was disappointed. I took the time out of my schedule to talk about a particular position. I wish that Applied Staffing Solutions told me prior to me coming in that the position was filled. Definition of incompetent. They can't figure out accrued time off. One pay period I have 34 hours, the next (without having used any), I have 7. No explanation, just long pauses and a lot of "Um"'s. Their bookkeeping skills are stellar, lol. They inadvertently gave me $4.00 an hour raise a month after my boss gave me a $2.00 raise. $6.00 raise in a month. I didn't say a word and no one noticed this little error. Hmmmmm perhaps I should have given them 5 stars. They are rude, arrogant (AMANDA), incompetent. Thank you for the extra $12,480. Some of the computers don't work for all the tests so I needed to switch computers. Jennifer at the front desk was very helpful. Some of the tests can also be done from home. Leslie was my recruiter for my new placement. She called me often for updates and checked in on me when my background check went long.
