Extremely disappointed. Kara couldn't be more kind, but the quality of work absolutely does not match up with her upfront commitment. We were weekly clients and on this last clean, not even our master bathroom toilet was scrubbed and cleaned. When we approached Kara, she let us know she didn't scrub but put cleaning solution in there....thank you...I sprayed my windows downstairs with windex but for some reason there are streaks...Usually one must scrub to clean. Our lamps were never wiped down, under our kitchen table was not cleaned, our cabinets weren't wiped down...and trash wasn't taken out.....to top this off when we approached Kara, she had a justification for these things, and in fact combated us. You literally run a cleaning service yet don't do the whole job and think your clients should understand. If you did wipe it down, or vacuum it should say enough that we can't tell...I attached screenshots for all to see. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere, and raising your standards. read more

The American Clean company was a disaster. Kara over Promised and Under delivered. This "company" is a joke. Total no show on appointment day and quite frankly never was going to show up. I was strung along all afternoon with Kara's excuses on how "I don't understand, where my crew could be?" nonsense. Thank god I didn't pay first. They are amazing! We are a military family and we're supposed to receive orders in March, however with the military if you know you know. Things ended up changing and we didn't leave till the end of May. Kara from American clean worked with me on the dates and was very flexible. Fair pricing. And excellent work. I hate cleaning, but they made it look effortless. I seriously appreciate all the hard work they put in to making my rental look like new! Thank you ladies you did a wonderful job!! read more

The worst experience with this cleaning company. This was the WORST EVER. The job did not get completed even though ample time was given to complete. , No apologies, other than excuses. The agreement was changed without notice then discussed on what was/needed to get done. They came back & decided to argue and personally attack me verbally about my personality, solely on the communication that the job agreed was not done, had to redo everything, and now more of an inconvenience- all day job and no COVID precaution was taken by saying ^I don't know how to interact with humans nor do I ever interact with them. Unnecessary comment. but this is about business not personal self/life; disrespected me in front of my child. Asked them to leave multiple times and wouldn't. Finally they left with the blackmail of too bad no refund for unfinished job. read more

After months of considering the idea of hiring a cleaning service, I am SO happy that I finally did! Kara and her team do a fantastic job!! I am so pleased with the service we have received from The American Clean every two weeks since November 2019. Having two small children, a dog, and job demands much of my time... I would find that my weekends would be consumed with more "work" in cleaning the house... and it would fall behind quickly. It makes me so happy to come home from work, now, and see the magic they have worked on my home!! It feels so refreshing to have clean floors, sinks, showers, countertops, toilets etc. but it also feels very freeing to hand over that responsibility so my free time is really free time. Their prices are competitive, they do great work, and most importantly Kara genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. I'm sure expectations vary greatly from customer-to-customer, so I very much appreciate that I was given the opportunity to provide feedback after visits and that Kara is not only receptive to it but eager to meet those expectations! Kara and her partner were absolutely amazing! She had a last minute opening that fit my schedule perfectly for moving out. They got started right away and even in the first few minutes I saw a big difference. My poor old cat had an issue with throwing up a lot (yes he's under veterinary care), so there were numerous stains, but she sprayed some magic on them and after her partner vacuumed they were practically gone! I had to leave not long after they started, so they finished up, turned in my second set of keys, and she messaged me to let me know it was all done! She even organized the furniture I was leaving behind for the Salvation Army. I have every confidence that she did a fantastic job and will save me at least a couple fees that was expecting from moving out last minute.
