After leaving the pharmacy, I walked back to my car to put away my prescription and grab the paperwork I needed for Feiro. Apparently, that brief walk was enough time for someone to decide they knew exactly where I was--and wasn't--going. A note had already been placed on my windshield informing me that I had parked in their space and that pharmacy parking was around the corner. The irony is impressive: I actually was there to visit Feiro Engineering. Instead of welcoming a potential customer, they assumed I didn't belong there before I even had the chance to walk through the door. Perhaps their engineering is precise, but their customer-detection system could use a little recalibration. Touching someone's vehicle to leave a corrective note is already off-putting, but making assumptions about a person parked directly outside your business is an especially strange way to greet a potential client. Needless to say, I gathered plenty of information about the company that day--just not the kind I originally stopped by to get.

I hired Coffman Land Consulting, Inc. in May of 2023. Rick came out to my property in May and completed the work. He made a mistake and and surveyed 5 acres and I only own 3 acres. I notified him of his mistake and two moths later (July 2023) Rick came back out to the property and completed the proper 3 acre survey. Since July of 2023, I have corresponded with Rick on several occasions. Each time we communicate he tells me that the survey map has been completed and will send it over. It's been 15 months and I still don't have the completed map. Last month (September 2024) I emailed Rick again and requested the map and a number to the San Bernardino County Recorders office to check the status of the record of survey. He has not replied to me since. I have also called him several times and he sends me to his voicemail. I've left messages and he does not call me back. Next step is to file a complaint with The Better Business Bureau and contact the San Bernardino County Recorders Office to verify if he has actually submitted the paperwork.
