I was so intrigued that I decided to sign up for their four week online program, taught via Zoom. They also have in-person classes taught in their Atlanta office, which are taught over a long weekend. The classes are kept small so that everyone has a chance to participate and provide feedback to their classmates. Each session is jam-packed and well-organized. I was glad that I took it over a four week period so that I could fully digest the material. They also offer monthly Zoom workshops to anyone who has ever taken the class, as a way to follow up and stay connected. While the classes are not cheap, they do offer many payment options. I found the classes to be well worth it. They opened my eyes to many facets of my personality that I wasn't aware that I was projecting into the world. I highly recommend these classes for anyone who would like more insight into themselves. The class atmosphere was very supportive and a lot of fun.

As many of you probably know, the way you see yourself and the way the world sees you are two very different things. This awareness is especially important for actors. I recently completed a 4 week course for his imaging process. Sam and his teaching assistant, Robyn, were very involved and helpful with each student in the class. His office manager, Ken, was also very helpful. I know Sam Christensen has thousands of students, I have no idea how his staff treats every single one of these students like an old friend! Sam offeres FREE preview classes regularly. To be honest, I attended a preview class and still wasn't sure what he did! I've heard so many wonderful things from professional contacts that I knew I had to take class with him. They also offer easy payment plans.

From my experiences working with Chris, I have left his classes personalizing and feeling good about my work and progress on multiple monologues, as well as developing a progressive sense of confidence in my scene work. Typically, Chris will pair you up for scenes which will go through a table-read and then 2-3 run-throughs as needed. The class is also great because you get many opportunities to work on as much as you want. At one point, I was working on one monologue a week, and two scenes at various stages in the process at the same time. Chris is also flexible if you talk to him about your specific goals and how much work you can commit to. I can't recommend Chris enough. He will push you, but he cares deeply in seeing you grow in areas of your craft, so as to not waste your time. I highly recommend his studio if you want to seriously work on developing your confidence and craft through practice, practice, practice.

I'm pretty resistant and skeptical, but I figured I'd be open. I did the scene, and I'll always remember it. It was one of those moments when you feel and know and think, "This is why I act. This is how it's supposed to feel. I can bring life and reality to these words." So gratitude to the sky to Chris! He has made me a better, more present, more generous, more fun actor and every time I work in that class, I grow. Chris is an incredible teacher and director. He loves the work. He knows every play out there, and I'm not being hyperbolic. He is for actors, and creates a space for us to play and develop as artists. He pushes us hard, each of us specifically so it overflows into all aspects of our life. If you're ready to work and get deep in the work, because that's how you book work in this town, you must train with Chris! He also has a lot of stories. In that…read morefour year period his class has grown exponentially from one night a week to five classes a week, including two master classes. I think the growth of the company is a real credit to Will and his coaching. A lot of actors in LA are often concerned with technique, maybe to a fault. I think Will's expertise comes from being an ACTUAL filmmaker. Not just one who made one or two films twenty years ago, but one who continually churns out movies in the industry and coaches as a director would coach on set! Not only that, but Will really cares about his students like his own family and is always doing everything in his power to make sure they succeed. That includes, but is not limited to inviting some of his various connections to class to watch his students perform, or helping guide students to find agents/managers, as well as making it possible that should a project ever come up, allowing students to help/work on set. There really is no other acting class in LA like Will's and I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of the cattle-call that Hollywood is known for. Why not learn from someone who knows what they're talking about and is constantly WORKING.
