Our son passed away unexpectedly on June 9th and it's been very difficult emotionally for her to do this. I called and spoke to Jacob on Saturday and explained the situation. He said it would be best if I came in first thing on Monday and to ask for him. I came in today and it was the most amazing experience I have ever had at any store. From the first person in customer service, the wonderful manager, other customer service personnel to Jacob and Sean that came down from your fishing department. Your wonderful staff turned this difficult and emotional time into one of the most wonderful experiences that I have had since my son's passing. Cudos to whoever is doing the hiring and training of these beautiful, caring people. I now know why my son loved your store. I was looking online to see if they carry converse, as I was looking for a pair of regular black chucks. When I entered the store there were tons of staff all over which is nice to see these days. I browsed the men's section first since the shoes are pretty much the same, I couldn't find them at first so I went across the store over to the women's and couldn't find converse in women's either. I did notice the women's shoes wasn't as busy as the men's. I browsed around a bit (no one greeted me or anything in men's or women's). I did finally find them under a table display and they only had platforms for women's so I went back over to men's to take another look. I did find them and waited for a salesman to assist me. A man walked up (after me) and the shoe he wanted was next to stock room so he was helped right away. I waited and asked for help.. I was told by a rep that he had to go check on some other customers, I kept waiting and being ignored to the point I witnessed reps asking people still looking around if they needed help and finally someone came up to help me, I asked for a 7 (as I'm a 8 1/2, 9 in women's), he came back and told me the smallest size they have is an 8 which is too big. He asked who I was shopping for, I said myself and he asked me what size I wear and I said about a 9 in women's and he said "well this is men's" as if I was blind. Just didn't like the vibes all around.

I've been looking for a replacement binder for my ancient Franklin Planner, and I didn't want to buy the whole set that's sold at Staples and Office Max and Google said that Fleet Farm sold just the binders. So off I went! Although I had no luck finding just a binder, but I found the store massive. It is a bit confusing to find things but they do seem to have pretty much everything under for sale but mostly the focus is on farming. I did go home empty handed, sadly, but I found it an adventure to visit. I'm not sure if I will be back, but I will keep it in the back of my mind as a place to shop :-).

I'm in love with Smartwool socks, I try to find them on clearance through the outlet section of the app and pick them up at the store. Sometimes they have them on clearance here but not usually. The brands are great...nice, quality things do cost more but they also last longer. The REI brand is really good too, a little more affordable than Marmot, The North Face, Arc'teryx, etc without giving up too much on quality. It's worth it to become a member, one time $20 fee for a 10% dividend on purchases to use in store. Something about coming in makes me want to be more of an outdoors person and buy stuff I don't really need.

By FAR, the WORST customer service I've ever experienced in my life…read more I ordered a crew neck as a gift for a family members' birthday. 3 weeks later I received an email saying the order was delayed another week. They apologized, and said they would throw in a free shirt for the issues. I was happy with their initial response, until the NEXT week, I received an email saying the order was completely cancelled. It takes weeks to ever receive any sort of communication from them whatsoever. It has now been over 2 months since my initial order and over a month since the free t-shirt was promised. I've received NOTHING and no one at the company will even respond to my inquiries. It's such a shame because I like all their products and would have been a return customer over the years. I would have recommended them to friends. Now I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth and will never purchase another item from them again. And I will NOT recommend their services of products to anyone I know. Next time they shouldn't be so short-sided otherwise they will continue to lose ongoing business.

He wears a men's medium and found a t-shirt on sale rack for $14.99. I found a hoodie on sale also. They had lots of other college items including luggage tags, stickers, pennants, etc. I also found a regular price NDSU t shirt for $20 and some NDSU stickers. There are other colleges there too such as UMD Duluth, Michigan, U of MN and St Cloud State. At check out the tagged t shirt rung up at $22, it was marked $20 and was immediately fixed. Scheels employees usually always say Hi upon entering the store. I wish Scheels would expand more in the Minneapolis St Paul Metro. Eden Prairie seems to far to drive. They also sell my favorite Feetures socks.
