I moved to Northern Michigan a few years ago from Chicago where pizza is one of the 4 major food groups. Unfortunately I have been less than impressed with the pizza available in this area. That is until last night. I had met a young man who works for the Long Lake location and he told me that the food was good so I decided to give it a try. I called in an order for a large thin Crust taco pizza (not on the menu) and the woman happily took my order. After picking it up I started driving home but since I hadn't eaten all day I opened the lid for a slice. The first thing I noticed was how appealing it looked so I grabbed a piece and took a bite. Before I knew it I was on the phone with my daughter (also from Chicago) telling her and her husband that I would be over in a few minutes and not to have dinner before I arrived. Once there they each took a slice and started eating. "OMG Dad, this is great!!!" Without question it was the best pizza I have ever had up here. Rivaling Chicago thin crust. I can't recommend it enough. read more

tried others throughout the area. this really is great stuff. And priced right. Have visited 2 of the 3 Locations and they are all different vibes. read more

Pizza was good. Ordered a large half pep half cheese. Good sauce and decent crust. Bread sticks were OK. Nothing too special. Order was for pickup. Service was good. Food was ready when they estimated it would be. Able to easily walk in and pick up the order. read more

Recently we drove up to TC from Lansing to have dinner with my HS class at That'sa Pizza. It was well worth the drive. The menu is extensive with way more than just pizza which also had many topping choices including a hard to find favorite of mine--artichoke hearts. The servings were plentiful and delicious. We left with enough food for future meals. Our server was attentive and able to keep up with our large group. The vibe is casual sports bar. read more

My wife and I each ordered personal sized pizzas. Me a thin crust with sausage and green olives and hers a vegetarian with a few extras. Service was quick, friendly and the pizzas were good. Lastly, price was reasonable. I left my brand new sweater on my chair when I left. I called and they had it safely tucked away for pick up. Thanks! read more

This place is a hidden gem I have been looking for a descent pizza place for 4 years!! The menu has numerous choices in addition to make your own pizza-you pick the crust ie;thick or thin ...The toppings suit all palates from vegetarian to carnivore. Unlike many pizza joints this place has homemade sauce mixed with fresh cheese. So delicious. Wait staff are fantastic! Thank you read more

Friendky staff. Good service. Good food. We like the atmosphere. They listen and will accommodate reasonable requests. It's a favorite neighborhood place to go or to order deliveries. read more

Stopped in late Friday night. They didn't seem too busy, as we were seated immediately. Nice bar/pub area on one side and family style tables on the other. Service was a tad slow, but there only appears to be to servers working the whole place. Our server did very well despite the staffing. Was attentive and brought everything asked for. Pizza was good, crust was well seasoned, had a good crunch, and was pie cut. Solid in my book. Get a side of ranch and marinara for dipping. You won't be disappointed. read more

Stopped in here for dinner on Friday night. Service was good and pizza came out hot and fresh. I ordered the house special with thick crust. The pizza had adamant toppings and I opted for the garlic flavored crust. The crust was flavorful and crunchy. read more

Amazing pizza - always spot on and truly our favorite! Recently I tried their Caesar Salad with grilled chicken. The chicken and salad were fantastic! The inside is also a great to dine in. read more

We ate there for a team dinner. The manager was very nice and great to work with. We had part of the restaurant blocked off for us and they served us a pizza Buffett with 2 salads and drinks. Pizza, salad and breadsticks were great. Kids had a blast playing fooseball and there was also Jenga and connect four. These is also a pool table there. Would go back there! read more

We have been a Hugh fan of the pizza , until today. We ordered a large take and bake pizza delux, sub ham for Italian sausage . We were charged 28.99 for the pizza that should have been 23.99 on the menu. I was told the owner told them if they make a change they will pay for it. When I left I saw they only gave me pepperoni and sausage. I returned they added vegetables. After we cooked we realized they had put bacon on it. Horrible, worst pizza I have ever had. Sorry to say it was our go too, but as all restaurants has it, they have lost there touch. read more

7.14.24 - Update, the owner followed up with a call, issued a refund, and apologized. I really appreciated the accountability. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters, which, they went above and beyond for. ---------------------------------- Disappointed with both the service and the lack of accountability. I placed an online order and was given an estimated delivery time online, but the pizza took over two hours to arrive. When I called to ask about it, they told me the time on their website is wrong and made no effort to fix or acknowledge that issue. I asked to be refunded, and was told they "don't do refunds for online orders." No solution, no apology, just a rigid policy that left me without support. It's unacceptable to provide incorrect information on your own platform and then refuse to take responsibility for the customer experience. I won't be ordering from here again. read more

Nice parking area, nice ambiance, great pizza! Several specialty type pizzas or you could build your own. The thin crust was thicker than we normally order. But great flavor. Owner stopped by our table a couple of times, just to see how we were doing. We'd go there again read more

I just had one of the best pizza I've ever had, no kidding! i had their special with Parmason and garlic.

This place charged us for 4 pizzas. 1 with extra sauce and two with buffalo sauce. Both did not have any. Even though we called the manager they said we had extra ‍. You be the judge read more

This definitely the best pizza in traverse city. Toppings we had were pepperoni and sausage and the pizza wasn't greasy. Cheese was melted to a golden brown. Crust was crisp not burnt and pizza was cooked to perfection. Definitely worth a little drive. Also they have seating if don't want to do take out. Very respectful staff. Friendly service and clean atmosphere. read more

I've never had a pizza from That'sa Pizza that I didn't like. Recently had the veggie pesto and OMG... It is by far my favorite. Almond slices on a pizza? totally surprising, but so good. I also like to get a cheese-less pizza with extra sauce which is a great option. Adding any toppings I feel like that day. Not the BEST pizza I've ever had, but def a good option in the TC area. They have a decent delivery zone, but it's hit or miss that they will deliver to my address in Traverse City (Cedar Run & Church). read more

Our favorite TC pizza place! The Chicken Ranch is incredible and I usually hate ranch dressing. But it is the perfect amount.

Ordered here while we were at Great Wolf Lodge. Ordered a small BBQ chicken pizza, 10 wings, and cheese bread. All were pretty good but I think I had higher expectations bc of other reviews. The pizza dough was soft. Unfortunately the dough wasn't crispy like I prefer a thin crust to be. There was more crunch in the bacon and onions than the dough. The bacon and onion toppings were were delicious. A nice sweet sauce made it a good BBQ pizza. I would prefer a little bit more sauce. They list cilantro as a topping but it's barely noticeable. We chose Sweet Chili sauce on the traditional wings. It was had a good tangy flavor and not too much heat. These also were not crispy fried as I would prefers. Some were small and some were bigger. We ordered the cheesy bread with sauce. Made sure to specify we wanted the sauce bc other yelped suggested. Unfortunately they forgot to put the pizza sauce in the box. That was disappointing. I didn't want to drive back just for sauce. The cheese bread was good and had a lot of buttery flavor. Would've been great with some pizza sauce! Staff was friendly and good was ready when they said it would be. Cost was around $30, seemed kinda high but then again I'm not familiar w Traverse City pricing. read more

My fiancé and I came here on a Saturday afternoon, super friendly staff and chill ambiance. They have great music and a pool table, they don't even charge for the pool table like most places. This has got to be one of traverse city's best kept secrets. As much as I hate to have to share it, this place deserves the recognition! Kiera, (hope I'm spelling her name right) came up with a great special, The Bay Blue Mai Tai- and her bartending skills did not disappoint! She was also our waitress, great food and service. Ben (manager) came by to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. Super friendly staff and great place to eat. If you haven't stopped by yet, you need to! Definitely a new favorite of ours. read more

My family and I have been coming here once a year when we come to great wolf lodge for the last five years. Missed last year because of covid. The food is always great. This time however we arrived at 7 pm (we had 4 adults and 6 kids) and were told that they can only seat six even though one half of the restaurant is full of large tables. My kids are disappointed and hungry and I'm sitting in the parking lot wondering why this place would turn down a table of that size and a hundred dollar plus bill with a large tip. We won't be coming back. read more

I came into this restaurant on a Saturday night with a friend. It was empty except for a couple of people at the bar and the hostess who appeared to know the people at the bar. We walked in exactly 1 hour before closing time and were told we could not be seated because it was too late. We could have easily ordered eaten and left before closing time but she didn't want to take that chance apparently. We won't be back read more

Let me start by saying that the food is always awesome! The only reason for less than 5 stars is that I ordered 2 nights in a row for delivery and the first night, one of our orders was completely the wrong item, so decided to try again the next day, and although I mentioned that we had received the wrong order, once again - none of the dressings or sour cream, or 'side of mayo' were received. The staff is always super friendly and again, the food is great. Just PLEASE have a little more attention to detail. read more

Have never been to this location before. Loved the pizza, nothing "exotic" about what we ordered but great tasting sauce, crust and other ingredients . Staff was friendly and order ready right on time. One of the better pies in TC. Price is reasonable as well. read more

I ordered deliver to the casino. We ordered pizza, two orders of wings, and breadsticks. It took an hour and 45 minutes the food was cold and looked like it was dropped. The ranch in the breadsticks lids had come off and spilled all over them and the wing boxes where smushed. I was not impressed. The pizza was mediocre. read more

The Acme location is by far the most incredible disappointment in your entire franchise. I have been spoiled by the excellence achieved by your Long Lake and Hammond locations and was foolishly thrilled to learn that I'd be within a mile of your Acme location when I moved. Despite several complete failures already witnessed via delivery during "COVID times" - we were looking for a quick meal and decided to place an order tonight. (Other noted failures- your staff is short and rude on the phone.Your pizza has  N E V E R  showed up cooked) I ordered a codon blu wrap. No pesto or mushrooms, and honey mustard on the side. 2 calzones with pepperoni, cheese, & green peppers. All collected and hastily taken home to eat- only to be opened revealing COLD, uncooked dough in not just 1 but 2 calzones. And a wrap with pesto, mushroom and no honey mustard. I love food. But this is one household that will never purchase from Thatsa Again. read more

I have been going to Thats A Pizza for about 7 years. Over the last few years it has been steadily getting worse I stopped going to the one in Acme all together and now i will stop using the one on Hammond rd as well. Las time I ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad and the e=East Side Salad i figured they had someone new making them because we only got 4 slim slices of chiken on the one and less than a quarter of an an apple in the other. And these were FULL salads. Today again less meat less apple and the containers were only half full. The lettuce is wilted and the cherries in the east side salad smell "off" like they may have been a little moldy and been washed off. The staff is friendly in a way a group of kids would be the service was good but I am very disappointed in the food, I am done using them it is a shame they were always so simple easy and good. read more

Got delivery and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of all the food. The pizza was all around decent (I'm a snob from NY so I wasn't expecting anything as good as from home, but this is definitely way better than any of your standard pizza huts or Little Caesar's) with a thin crust and good sauce. The real Star were the wings: we got regular hot wings and boneless sweet chili. The chicken was tender and juicy with just the right amount of heat on both. The boneless were more of a chicken nugget type deal, and the sweet-hot reminded me of orange chicken or something: really tasty. We also got a calzone which tasted great but tragically didn't come with marinara so make sure to request that when you order! read more

Lots of tasty toppings, but we couldn't taste the pizza sauce, if there actually was any, and the crust was soggy.

Best pizza in traverse city! Great local place to go to. Good beer on tap. Smoothies were great too. Now they have a pool table (free) which kids loved. We'll be back soon! read more

Pizza is above average. Choice of toppings was decent. Sauce was good, and their crust was great too. They do gluten-free pizza and I am told it is really good too. Delivery was prompt. Service was average, but acceptable. Pro-tip: after the pizza is delivered, take a picture of the box and send it to your favorite Italian-American friend. They will totally appreciate it. read more

This is great for delivery it's really fast and cheap the cheesy bread however I would not recommend it's very greasy and got me sick making me puke twice. The pizza is a little greasy but I mean that's your average pizza. Overall I'd say it's ok. read more

Great family atmosphere! Clean restaurant and wonderful service. We ordered their antipasto salad and a medium super deluxe pizza with garlic crust. The salad was ok, the meat and cheese looked like slices from a deli tray and the Greek, yes Greek dressing was really good. When the pizza arrived it was piled high with toppings and had our mouths watering. We were worried the pizza would be salty being that it had bacon and both green and black olives, to our surprise it was not. It was thin crust and good. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there was nothing great about what we had, everything was just good. read more
