I have applied for several positions with this company that I thought I had a reasonable chance with. I've applied to several, having my application viewed (Indeed notifies you) and no follow-ups conducted. Apparently, I scheduled an interview in April 2017. I was working at this time, and accepted a separate offer. I have no recollection of accepting an interview, and no emails were traceable on my end. Look, I get it. I've done that job before. People will not show up, or blow you off when you do a follow-up. I've been there. I've been steadily employed since high school and would have no reason to do this. (Why wouldn't you at least call someone after they "no call, no show" to let them know they're not going to be contacted for interviews anymore? Why would I keep applying if I'd already passed up an interview?) I asked for a second chance today, citing these concerns, and the woman I spoke with (politely) explained that, per "company policy," I would not be allowed to work through them. read more

After moving to Indianapolis and looking for a job, I thought I would give That's Good HR a try. I filled out the application and did the testing online to prove my skills. I did very, very well on all my tests, as I knew I would since I'm heavily experienced in the software I was testing in. I was then set up with an appointment to come in for an interview. Even though she asked me if 1pm was ok, I was booked for 3pm instead for some reason. I took the half hour drive to get to my "interview". I was so excited, after I'd been told there were numerous jobs available in my skill set. Once I was in my interview with Lindsay Barnhart, I was told that there were no jobs available. Obviously this changed my mood quite a bit. This is a common tactic used by a lot of staffing companies just to get you to take their tests and be put on file, most times never to be given an opportunity to work. As I've been unemployed for a while, I was upset I'd wasted the gas to go to another company with unscrupulous business practices of lying to candidates to fill their files. My demeanor change must have been apparent, as she immediately told me I didn't seem happy or excited and they couldn't send candidates out to interviews who weren't happy. Why should I be happy? That I wasted my time interviewing for a job that would never come? I knew then I'd never be given an opportunity to actually work. She then tried to dissuade me from wanting a position by telling me that any jobs they had would be too far away for me to want to work. Shouldn't that be up to the person working to want to decide how far they are willing to travel? She also told me that the best way to get ahold of her was through email and that I shouldn't bother calling. Basically, the "Don't call us, we'll call you." To this day, she's now too busy to take calls from me and I'm sent to voicemail. Do I recommend this company? Absolutely not...unless you have time and gas money to waste on jobs that will never come. read more

That's Good HR helped me greatly in my interim between jobs. They were very professional, yet friendly & caring. I received several good placements through the company and only had a few gaps between placements. I was mainly looking for temp work (not temp to hire), since the field of employment I was pursuing was mostly outside their clientele (Education/Ministry), so they helped me get placed with general assignments at great companies. When I first called I had just left my previous job & was anxious to get started. They set up my online testing & scheduled an interview for the very next day. It took about a month of shorter term assignments (a day or two here and there) until I got my first long term assignment of a few months - which was very good! And it was all great from then on! I was assigned to Lana Bobb, who was very friendly and handled me very well, especially when I would get concerned about not getting a placement and also with my unique background/skillset. There were others within TGHR that contacted me when Lana was out of the office or if a time sensitive offer came up - and Mary Springer touched base with me as well, which was a nice touch. Thank you! I will definitely come back if needed and have already referred people to TGHR! It's a very personal firm, so after my experience there it would be difficult to go to a placement agency with a less personal touch! read more

This was only suppose to be a three month assignment, but it turned into a permanent position. I know without the help of TGHR I would not have this amazing position. This was the best experience I've had with a staffing company. The process was simple and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was out of work for several months and was in desperate need of a position. I initially came into to the office to interview for a temporary position. My staffing specialist Staci advised she would send over my resume to the initial position I applied to. However, she informed me about a permanent position that I may be better suited for. I'm starting on my third week with the company that Staci informed me on. I honestly feel that without her help, I would have never came across the position. I'm very appreciative of Staci and the whole That's Good HR staff for their assistance and I will make sure to recommend them to anyone looking for work. read more

I just got off the phone with Kate Stephens, who I was going to interview with, and she informed me they couldn't "represent" me since I worked with them years ago and declined a temp job the morning I was supposed to start. I don't remember anything about this, and it's VERY dissappointing they have a "1 forgiveness" stance even when I last worked with them about 7 years ago. I DO NOT recommend this "talent agency" as they don't have your best interest. If I remember correctly, the last job they put me in was KAR Auction Services, and that was a TERRIBLE job. I'm actually glad this didn't work out today because I don't want to be in another crummy, dead-end job! read more

I had recently moved back to Indiana in December and was having a hard time finding a job. In February I decided to apply to a temp agency in hopes of finding a position that could turn into something full-time. I saw That's Good HR on Indeed's website and after applying was asked to interview within the same week. I was then given two jobs that I could interview for, one was temporary and the other temp-to-hire. I chose the temp-to-hire and was interviewed by that company and then hired within a couple of days. I have now been working for this company for 4 weeks and was just asked to sign on officially (no longer temp) last Wednesday. I am so thankful that That's Good HR brought me to this position. I divulged to the company when I signed up that I can only work part-time due to disability. They shared with me that they typically don't encounter a lot of customers that need part time workers. I believe it was less than two weeks after I registered with TGHR, they actually had a couple of positions that they wanted to discuss with me. My last assignment was wonderful. In my experience, this company has been very unprofessional. I came from academic background leaving a PhD program at University of Michigan. I marketed my skills I have gained from such a background and they said they would work with. I mentioned to Lindsey Barnhart the fact I had already applied for three jobs listed on their website and she said she would look into it and call me. The call was never made. The only call she made was to offer me a job position at 12/hr, even though I stated I would not take anything below 15 and it would have to be within a reasonable driving distance (she offered something a half hour away). I made clear to tell her I had nothing but time to wait for the right position (I have savings and I've been earning an income in photography.) She seemed to just want to put me in a low position despite my educational background and work experience. I wouldn't recommend this company since to this day, they have yet to respond to my direct complaint and request to work with someone else. I just hope they removed my file. read more
