This place needs a better attitude toward customer dissatisfaction. I placed an order with my co Workers and added sweet potato fries with my wrap. (The wrap itself was alright, I had the gyro, not bad but lacked flavor) anyways back to the sweet potato fries, they were RAW! Basically they might as well put the entire potato straight from the bag with the order instead of shaping them into fries. I called to tell them my disappointment with my side dish and all they could say was "thank you" and hung up. If you want a better wrap experience go across the street to the cross bay diner; you might pay a bit more but their wraps and gyros are hearty and full of rich flavor; and they know how to cook French fries. Don't waste your time with that's a wrap. read more

Is this place again under new management? I started coming here in 2016 and didnt have a good experience with the service BUT 2017 and 2018 were the years in which this business bloomed for good. Service was 5 starts, a lot of improvements, the tall guy with red hair was always at the front providing the best customer service. I went last night before closing, didn't see him. I ordered the same things I always order. The fries have changed. I mean, the last time I came was like 3 months ago. They also changed the ketchup brand. Now they give 3 packets of cold Heinz ketchup for a big plate of fries. C'mon!!!! Service was terrible. IDK if the business is going thru a drastic employee rotation or what but smiling and being helpful is what makes a business succeed. I'm not coming back here. read more

Love getting wraps from here! They always fill me up and I am never disappointed with what I pick. My husband however had a wrap I believe it was the bungao wrap with steak. He said it didn't really have seasoning and tasted plain. I had the Thai chicken wrap which was amazing. He had a bite of mine and loved it. Smoothies are also great btw! read more

I usually order the savory chicken teriyaki wrap. This time I disappointedly explored other options... I just disposed of my entire wrap in the garbage. The lettuce was rotting and gave the wrap an obtrusive sour taste. The beef they used was the same that they serve at a one star Chinese restaurant...stringy, long, and roughly textured. The 45 minute delivery wait wasn't appealing either. Now that I look at other reviews I see I'm not the only one served spoiled food. I'm positive a new head of lettuce would have been 45 cents. Instead it's costing them a previously loyal customer who would have regularly contributed to their profit. Shame. read more

Decent wraps that are fairly well loaded with fresh ingredients, prices are a little high as to what it offers though and the grilled chicken NEEDS some salt and pepper or some sort of basic seasoning. Atmosphere inside is fairly cozy and small, decently kept and nicely clean. Service is efficient and effective, overall not a bad place for a wrap. read more

I work nearby and there are essentially no places to get food within walking distance. That being said I've ordered delivery from here about 3 times. Every time the wraps were pretty good, but nothing to go crazy about. I would say the delivery time varies from 40 to 50 minutes which is a bit long to be waiting for your lunch, although it may get pretty busy. I have had the lamb gyro, Thai chicken wrap, and one other that escapes my memory at the current moment. Nonetheless, I haven't eaten anything here that I didn't think tasted alright. In short, if you are not in a hurry I would recommend ordering from here. read more

Place offers up a nice selection of wraps, salads & smoothies and is kept very clean. Flavors won't knock your socks off, but it offers a good healthier option for lunch. The staff is very nice too. read more

This place probably has potential to be something more, however I've came here on numerous occasions and was always dissatisfied with one thing or another. My last time was also my third time. My boyfriend and I sat down, to grab a bite, however we couldn't even eat comfortably with the lack of heat in that place. Eventually we decided to take it to go, mid way through our meal because of the discomfort. There food isn't special, but I've never tried their salads, I've tried there wraps and the last time I tried their quesadilla, which I ordered with some guac for $2 more. I was excited because I love me some quesadillas, but was disappointed to taste the guac which was obviously not fresh, and stale. Seriously glad I tasted it before I smothered it all over my meal. Don't get me wrong, this place has pretty good wraps but I feel everything that they do needs to be improved. Customer service, new recipes because sometimes the food is bland, new heating system, etc. everything else a beautiful, just wish there wasn't something constantly wrong every time I go. read more

That's A Wrap - Buffalo chicken wrap, quesadillas, fries, extra guac for 2 bucks which was STALE! :( - Sandwiches Near Me - Howard Beach, New York

Obsessed with this place! I always order from here on my lunch break! Not only do they have healthy food choices but also a variety of smoothies, fresh juices, and protein shakes! I usually get their lean shake, it's absolutely delicious. I never feel bad after eating from here because their health food choices are the best for those who are watching their weight! Loveeeee! read more

I like everything I order from here but .. all those giant onions in the turkey chili made me cry. I ordered turkey chili not a family of onions. I hope the next time I order my turkey chili from here , there is smaller and less onions. read more

I love this place!!! This is my favorite take out spot in HB. Food is always fresh. California wrap is my go-to. I also love that they are on seamless - it can't get any easier. I've never had any problems with my order either. read more

Every time I go to this place, which is right near my house, I order the EXACT same thing! Yet, every time I go to pay, they charge me a different price! WTF? Ordinarily, I wouldn't mind a slight fluctuation in price.... but a $5 price difference on a simple wrap is ridiculous! Then, after I tell the manager (who knows me because I often go there), he tells me I'm wrong and I don't always pay what I said I pay. So, now he is calling me a liar! AFTER THREE YEARS going in this place regularly! This is customer loyalty? Well, now they've lost my business for good and I'll be spreading the word about them around the neighborhood and to all my NYPD friends who frequent the place. Wish I could get all the $1 bills I put in their tip cup back from the last three years....I could buy (5) $13.00 wraps! read more

It's sad how bad customer service is.The young girl who works there sounded rude when she took my order through the phone for a pick up. Once i got inside she quickly just told me my total so I could pay right away, meanwhile I actually wanted to order something else. I gave her the money, then she basically shoved the change in my hand and it says "Bye have a good day" and quickly took the next person's order. She basically kicked me out lol . That was extremely disgusting. If you hate people you shouldn't be working somewhere where u have to deal with people. She's definitely at the wrong job. I was excited to go here since it's closer than the one in Bayside. I always have a good experience at Bayside and the food is soo good. But here it really wasn't as good. I ordered a chicken club wrap and the bacon looked raw. It looks like they barely even cooked it. Take the drive to Bayside or Astoria instead. Please!! read more

Been trying to call here to place a take out order and the phone just rings and rings nobody picks up. Went to directly to the store and there is a note on the door that says they closed starting April 6 due to the corona virus. Ok I get it we are in a pandemic but wouldn't this be the best time to stay open because of all the take out orders and deliveries. Very disappointed that one of the few healthy options around here is closed during this time but carvel right next door is still open. read more

This place is the worse. There service is bad And the wraps taste old. I loved this place when it first opened but after a year it went down hill. The one in Astoria is so clean and the staff there is friendly. I will never go to this location in Howard beach ever again. read more

A really good place to go for a wrap or salad. The greek salad is good, also the grilled chicken cesar wrap is amazing as well. They do delivery which is a plus. Also the sweet potato fries are really good. Definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat. read more

I actually just left from here without eating. I come here all the time, the food is great BUT the service needs work, much room for improvement. Take-out; ur lucky if u get 25% of what u ordered. They're always forgetting something. They are terrible under pressure wen busy. I just walked in for sit down service and ended up leaving. They had one girl at the counter NOT taking orders while the line was to the door and the manager/owner, who is a sweetheart, was making a shake not telling he kids what to do. My boyfriend was standing next in line for 7 mins before we left. I'm not even sure if any of the workers even looked up to help anyone. :-/ great food but real bad service wen they're busy. UPDATE Went in today; a different girl was behind the counter, she seemed more friendly than usual, she even told a customer "I'll be right with you" while she was packing.. Maybe it was just the staff that day or maybe they made changes.. Who knows.. Everything was fine today. read more

i have been here many times, and always try to find something different on the menu. However I usually hate everything i order so i don't know why i bother. Also, the place always seems smokey inside like there is a fire in the back kitchen and it burns my eyes lol. The ONLY thing i feel OK ordering is the chicken quesadilla read more

This place is so good!! Especially if you're trying to eat healthier. They have so many options to chose from and everything tastes amazing. I've never eaten at the location itself but definitely recommend getting a delivery. It's one of my favorite places in the area. ! read more

It was my first experience here and I gotta say it was amazing. The place was busy but the food came quick, hot and ready. I got the CLT WRAP .. I'm already thinking about what I'm going to have for dinner from here. read more

I love this place customer service has improved. Best wraps around. My favorite is the Balboa wrap.

this past june i wrote a review about "thats a wraps" {howard beach} customer service. i see i'm not the only person who was treated with little respect by the same person. today i noted my review is in the "not recommend " list. gee.... i gave a honest to the point almost real time statement on how i was treated with time and date with descriptions of some of the patrons @ the shop @ the time. so i guess the truth is not in yelps guidelines btw. spoke to the manager in bayside within that week. hope he's true to his word and fixed his 5'2" little problem. the food is good but i work too hard for my money to hand it to someone with a vinegar personality read more

I found large hairs in my food at least twice. They put piping hot fries in styrofoam with nothing else and this causes the styrofoam to burn and melt and this is a toxic health hazard. read more

Over priced cheap garbage. They also have the tendency to over charge. Order a teriyaki with fries and was charged separately. $14.00 for fries and a wrap, which had super sweet teriyaki sauce and three tiny pieces of chicken. I am never going back. It used to be good, but now the food taste as if they are suing cheap ingredients. The steak meat, for example, is tough and rough. I doubt we can call it steak, maybe is bottom round. I also ordered through Seamless and was charged twice for the food- online by seamless and in person by the delivery man, who swore I didn't pay for it online. Quiet disappointed. read more

Never had the food it's prob good, But came twice to get juices and they were out of basic ingredients. They need to get some bottled cold press juice asap!!! There is no juice bar in Howard Beach! Lets go make it super nice, think juice generation, Jamba Juice, orangic avenue (even tho they closed down) !! You can do it! Message me when you do. Juice Juice Juice Juice!!! read more

Very disappointed and saddened by the lack of customer service. Won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered a CLT wrap. Says avocado, lettuce and tomato with Swiss. I got 1 slice of tomato and one slice of avocado.....90% lettuce so annoying! $8 for chicken and lettuce. read more

Meh. The one in Bayside is MUCH better. This location is just disappointing. For some reason they never feel the need to cook their food all the way. Everything is soggy and has no flavor. Save your money, or use it on gas to drive to Bayside and order from the better location. read more

Stick to the wraps/salads from here. The customer service has been mediocre. I'm not too pleased with the sweet potato fries.

I personally love their chicken caeser salad. The staff is welcoming and the food to me is delicious. The prices are average to expensive being almost $11 for their salad but their portions make up for the prices. They are very generous and I'd recommend giving them a try. read more

What a great place! My coworkers and I eat here TOO much. All of the menu options are great. My favorites are the burrito loco and Cajun wrap -over rice with avocado.. absolutely delicious! They also remember their customers - for some reason I'm always surprised when I call my order in and they know me by name. Very good service and very good healthy "fast" food. read more

Tried it twice. The First time I tried a panini and it was tasteless and just went back for pesto chicken wrap. I would have thrown it out but I hate wasting food. Chicken was dry and burnt, the flour tortilla needs to be heated to soften but they skipped that step, and the dressing tasted like store bought Italian that they blended some basil in. This is my first review ever on Yelp and "that's a wrap" compelled me to write it read more

That's a Wrap has always been my favorite place to order from whenever I'm working late nights, but recently there has been a new delivery person who is just out of control. She's actually come to my job and complained about how my co workers and I do not tip her which is outrageous for her to accuse. We will tip via grub hub or way more than the normal 5$ tip. It's terrible how she came into my place of work and speak loudly about this. Honestly, I would rather have the guy with the glasses and who was really tall than her. She sucks. Will not order from here until she stops delivering. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I placed an order for delivery and waited over an hour for no one to show up. I called them back to ask what happened and the young lady on the phone said the driver waited outside for twenty minutes and they called me several times......my phone never rang. I apologized even though I never got a call and asked if they could send the driver back and she agreed. After 15 minutes the same young lady called me back (miraculously this call got through for some reason) to tell me that the owner threw away the food and is REFUSING TO SEND MY ORDER. I'm actually glad this happened because I didn't spend my money in a place that treats customers like crap. I'm actually upset I have to give them 1 star just to write a review, they don't even deserve that. read more

Food was ok, balboa wrap did not mix well with my stomach, which is weird cause ive had at the bayside location. Prices on online menu dont match actual in store prices. Chicken ceasar salad listed at 7.95 and they charged $12.50. Front counter people are always confused. read more
