Abel even brought in Juan, a custom cabinetry expert, who built us a stunning corner cabinet system completely from scratch. The craftsmanship on our custom cabinets is phenomenal, they refinished everything perfectly and even created a gorgeous custom pantry door with window panes that instantly elevated the space. They converted our sink to a farmhouse style and handled all the plumbing and piping seamlessly. Abel, Juan, and Juan's sons were incredibly hardworking, on a few occasions, they even worked late into the night and early morning to make sure everything was done right. Their dedication, skill, and attention to detail are second to none. They also installed the new countertops, faucets, garbage disposal, and reconnected our dishwasher and washing machine without a hitch. I had significant damage after a pipe burst in the wall of my upstairs bathroom. I had a few…read morereferrals and my first choice was too busy to take on the project so I went with Mega. Pros: Eric was responsive and really tried to make things right that went wrong They worked within a budget and stuck to the estimate Cons: The work was less than stellar. Drywall- My bathroom walls, bedroom wall, and downstairs family room wall needed to be replaced and repaired in a few places. For some reason after 3 separate people were sent over, they were unable to match the drywall texture that the rest of the home had. The first time they sprayed some can texture and it looked like exterior stucco. Next they skim coated and tried again. Still it was all wrong. They re-skimmed and that it looked like it was done and then sprayed with water. I'll attach photos. It's a mess and will need to be redone. Floors- I had a marble chosen for the bathroom and hall floors. It was a splurge at $23 a sq ft. I was told to order 90 sq ft to account for overages. I ordered 100 sq ft just in case. We were short. I don't know if many pieces were broken or what but it delayed my project by 3 months trying to find and match the marble. Also, they installed a broken piece and when I pointed it out they put extra grout on it to "fix" it. Finally another team of people were sent and it was removed and replaced. Sadly, when they removed the broken piece they also chipped the hard wood flooring the stone abutted. My last flooring issue was how many scratches were left on my brand new floors. They attempted to fix this as well and left several polished circles on my non polished honed marble. I cried when I saw how they had ruined a brand new $2300 floor. Messy- When they pained my interior walls they washed out their paint brushes against the side of my house which left my stucco with white paint on it. My HOA is now asking that I fix that. One of the guys who used my downstairs bathroom peed all over my floor. It was actually yellow down the side of my toilet and around the bottom where the toilet meets the floor. So that was disgusting. They did all the work in my garbage. The cutting of tile and wood. The sanding of things. It was a mess. So one of the guys decided to clean it out and got a hose and began spraying the ground. Unfortunately he didn't pick any of my belongings off the floor before doing so. I had bought some cabinets from ikea to being remodeling my kitchen and the boxes were soaked. I had to remove everything to make sure my new kitchen wouldn't be warped. There is more but it's too voluminous to list. All in all, while the people were lovely, the work was awful. I would go by the house often to check on things and leave in tears. My house is my biggest investment and it was being ruined.
