She had a contract which I was very happy with as most of the people I found did not. She was also able to take credit cards, which was a huge plus. My style was basically an upside down braid and I feel as if she struggled to grasp a fairly basic concept, but she did get there. On the day of she didn't have any issues remembering my style. THE BAD All of my bridal party was from out of town so she did not have the opportunity to do their hair in advance. She was running a bit late the morning of which was a bit unnerving because she charged me an extra fee because I had an early call time. After several online searches for bridal hair and makeup, I kept coming back to Zea's official website. Nothing I found online could compare to what Zea had to offer. I am terribly shy when it comes to speaking on the phone, so I emailed Zea around 11 at night, asking her about her work such as how the makeup is applied, how long it typically lasts, etc. Eight minutes after sending my email (she was super quick), Zea replied to every question I had asked and she even included additional helpful information; this was the first sign that Zea was going to take great care of me. We further exchanged emails and we discussed all the major details such as the type of look I wanted, allergies, skin sensitivities, hair length, dates, payment, etc. We soon met at a local coffee shop to sign the contract and everything was made official. I purchased the Bridal Hair and Makeup Package, which included a hair and makeup trial before the wedding. Since I am clueless about hair and makeup, the trial was just what I needed to determine what actually worked with my skin tone and determine how I wanted my hair and makeup to actually look on my wedding day. On the day of the wedding, Zea first prepared my mother and I some mimosas and she soon began working. She had memorized every single detail I wanted that we had covered during the trial, so while she worked from memory, we spent our session talking about a variety of different things, which was very enjoyable. I didn't really have the opportunity to look in the mirror while Zea was working, but when I had my first opportunity to do so at the end of our session, I almost began to cry; the hair and makeup were absolutely beautiful! For a few seconds, I sat in disbelief that I was the person in the mirror. Zea was able to transform my vision into much more than I could have ever wanted and imagined! She was that great! Throughout my wedding, I received several compliments about my hair and makeup. My makeup lasted throughout the whole wedding; I did not have the need to touch up any of it. There are a few times in life where you cannot arrive late to certain event such as an interview or in my case a wedding. I was a bridesmaid to one of my dearest friend. I was told to be at the church at 11:45 no later. I was rushing to get my hair done and get home to meet Zea. I was so embarrassed, I got home late from the hair salon. Zea had been waiting for me for over an hour. I was freaking out because it was 12:15 and I still needed to get my make up done. She was so sweet, Zea calmed me down.
