I am glad that we did. I honestly cannot remember what my wife ordered that night (as I ordered the better meal - bragging rights). It was some Viet dish that was a make your own rice paper rolls. They brought the veg to the table, along with a little grill and marinated meats. The herbs and spices were perfect. The mint really came through and there is nothing I could think of to improve this meal. But wait, there is more. In my job that includes perpetual overtime we decided to order from here tonight. We went more with the Thai side of the menu. There was red curry, 'spicy' roast duck, satay veg, and pandan chicken. AND FREE PRAWN CRACKERS!!!! The entree (pandan chicken), were triangles of chicken and stuff (it was all ground and smashed) placed into pandan leaves and then steamed or something. Nice aroma and some enjoyable subtle flavours. Don't get this if you want your mouth to be smacked with flavour, but get it for a light enjoyable entree. The three mains we split were all great. There was heaps of veg in all three. Satay veg was amazing and I would eat much more veg if all veg were like this. The roast duck was good, but the sauce made the dish. And the red curry was as expected, creamy and flavourful. I really wish it had more chili as the heat was lacking in my opinion.

I am always a little bit hesitant with Thai specially, when you have people that don't like too much heat / chili in a dish. To my amazement only one dish was a bit too spicy for half of the people that don't eat much chili at all :-)) It's a very cosy and modern restaurant with a big bar in the very front and seating all around from small couches to tables. Fashioned after an apartment style with a bit of comfort and normal dining settings. The place allows BYO for wine and champagne and there is a bottle shop directly opposite the restaurant. They charge you $6 pp for corkage which is quite ok. The menu is extensive and has lots of small plates and Thai Tapas dishes from cold to warm. We ordered a whole bunch of small dishes and four mains to share. The mussaman curry was a bit disappointing (it's Malay rather than Thai) but the rest was excellent. The pork balls were to die for. Service was excellent and very friendly. Food arrived quickly despite the place being jam packed and they had a small band playing live music which did not interfere with the ambience or the conversation. I would definitely come back here again. It's fresh, innovative and strikes the balance between tradition and fusion. I am glad we discovered this place :-)

The stuffed zucchini flowers were a real standout as well. So large and full if flavor. Delicious! The spice is excellent and the Friday night atmosphere was convivial with big family groups and even live music. A rarity apparently in Sydney restaurants. The curry was flavorful and the spicy beef appetizer was nice as well There is fully kitted Bittle shop across the way so a perfect way to enliven a meal. And for the true afictionado, the sesame ice cream is dark a flavorful. With the fried banana really a nice complement. All in all a great neighborhood place.

I'm a Thai bandit from way back when, but to be honest I kind of overloaded and went off it for a coupla years. Trinity just brought me back. Super fresh ingredients, fistfuls of delicious herbs - coriander and mint and basil up the wazoo - and innovative dishes, like the spicy crispy pork belly laden with chilli and (suplise!) heaped with more pork belly than I could even finish. Me! How embarrassment. Normally you get jibbed and get, like, 3 cubes of that sweet sweet swine, but here they fully OD you, it's rad. The duck was great, the chicken was great, the masuman lamb shanks were different and great, and the big surprise packet - dessert, which normally I skip. The sticky banana rice with red bean paste filling was monumental! Served as faux-spring rolls, I utterly monstered these little guys, it was like a party in my mouth and they were in the VIP section throwing Cristal around. A must get. BYO booze gets it a fourth star.

The Money Bags were overly done and tasted slightly of older oil. The Pad Kee Mao was way too spicy for me to enjoy. I asked for a light touch on the chilies but it didn't happen. For a nice dinner, the seating seems closer than ever, making it awkward to get out of the seat and not disturb anyone. It also appears they are transitioning to more backless stools which are less comfortable for dining. I probably won't visit again because over the 12 years I have been visiting this spot seems to be declining. There are too many Thai restaurants in the area to have to settle for just okay.

And the curry sauces just lacked that depth of flavour stir crazy used to be so good at. Also, if you are planning on dining in forget it as the place only fits about 8 tables, it is cramped and NOISY! Sure, it's not the worst food in town but you could really do a whole lot better.

Still great food but I probably won't order online again. *** Super cheap, yummy Thai in Neutral Bay. Thai Intra used to be our go to spot but after changing owners last year we haven't really been back. We decided to give this place another go (had been there a couple times ages ago) and we were not disappointed. We couldn't decide between a stir fry and a curry and decided on a compromise of Choo Chee- stir-fried mild red curry with mixed vegetables, a touch of creamy coconut milk topped with finely sliced kaffir lime leaves. It was a great compromise. The perfect combination of curry flavours and the lightness of a stir fry. I definitely recommend it. We also got the stir fried eggplant and it was good but not my favourite. It has Thai basil and why I keep ordering things with Thai basil time and time again when I KNOW I don't like it is beyond me. So you can't fault the dish, it's just my tastebuds that failed me on this one. It's a tiny place with little stools for seating so it's not somewhere you want to go and relax for a long night out. It's more of a quick dinner spot. Like I said before- it's SUPER cheap for Sydney. Takeaway prices for sit down dining (about $10.50 per stir fry). Can't beat the free corkage either. The doors are always open so if you go on a cold winter night, bundle up. And be prepared for some Military Road traffic noise. For the price and taste combination I give it 4 stars. If i was judging on atmosphere and complete package, I'd give it 3 stars.

We started with some fish cakes, which were tasty but not memorable (as I ate them only two hours ago and cannot describe them now). The reason I cannot describe them is the mains we had were amazing. The panang curry with beef was good with its thin slices of beef and thick coconut gravy. But the green curries were amazing. The basil really comes out strong and they put enough chilli to make me happy (we all asked for extra). The chilli basil beef stir fry (the first one on the stir fry menu) was also amazing. Some of the other dishes took a back seat to these, but were good in their own rights. So the ambiance of this place is a nice cozy place close enough to the Neutral Bay wharf. It is tastefully decorated with gold and purple accents. The serviettes (napkins for us Americans) are folded to look like flowers (orchids?). I assume they have many takeaway orders put in by people taking the ferry home and decide the aromas this place gives off are too much to handle. But if you do choose to dine in, they are BYO wine.
