This gorgeous, well crafted wooden art piece on the wall. Stunning

The waitress was having a "wee clumsy day". And the chef seemed to be experimenting with his menu, by sending a normally hot meal out cold. But apart from the one cold meal they sent to our table, and quickly replaced when I brought the fact to their attention, I'm seriously not going to grumble. Great food. I mean GREAT food. I had to wait a bit too long between meals though. But do you know when you wait for something you really REALLY want, so each second feels like a minute? Well I reckon my belly contributed to my impatience. I'm gonna come back. The menu offers too much to be ignored.

One of very few Thai restaurants to be found in Belfast, Thai Village is positioned perfectly on the Dublin Road amid the hustle and bustle of studentville. The interior is what you kinda get in most Asian places and the staff were really friendly and efficient, which is definitely important! I adore Thai green curry so as a safe bet I went for my usual and I must say I was pleasantly pleased. The curry was up there with the best and the house wine I got to go with it was great too! The priced here are pretty average for Belfast so it won't break the bank for a good filling meal. A great stop to make on a night out or on a visit to the cinema! Thai Village wont disappoint!

What's great about quartering off cities is that it's brought the brilliant Cathedral Quarter to Belfast. What's bad is you tend to forget the amazing places already on your doorstep that are not within such quarters. Thus it is with Thai Village restaurant on the Dublin Road - I simply forgot about it. I dined here last night for the first time in about 6 years! I loved it back then and I don't know why it's taken me so long to return - I guess Belfast just has so many new restaurants nowadays that I forgot some of the older ones already in existence. The menu is extensive with a whole vegetarian section. We ordered starters of deep fried bean curd and vegetable tempura with sweet chilli and peanut dipping sauce. Mains were vegetable green Thai curry, jungle curry, mushroom salad and steamed rice. The food and wine (Pinot Grigio) was fabulous, as was the service from the beautifully Thai-dressed waiting staff. Even though we were full we had to sample some dessert and opted for Thai pancakes stuffed with coconut, coated in honey and sesame seeds, served with ice cream. We cleared our plates! I will be returning soon and I picked up the takeaway menu - this restaurant is fantastic.

One of the greatest things about Belfast is the huge variety of restaurants to choose from. The Thai village is one of the few bona fide places true to what it's trying to promote. A friend and I had decided to go here for lunch because we had gotten into town a little early for a movie we were going to see. I know the basics of Thai food but I'm no expert, so to go to the Thai Village and enjoy some really authentic food. Deciding to move away from my usual Thai Green Curry, I ordered the Laab Gai. This was phenomenal! Just the perfect mix of spices, the chicken was perfectly tender. Judging by the standard of their lunches, I need to get back for a proper night in a great place.

Food was great. I went with friends and we had a nice assortment of soups, apps and entrees. A bit pricey, but it was a great dinner.

The dining area is very chic with lots of sleek lines. Very elegant but modern style. Loved all the tableware as well - everything seemed earthy and hand thrown. Our favorites of the night were hands down the duck and truffle fried rice - we all fought for this dish toward the end. It was one of the most unctuous bites of food that I've ever had. The fried rice was PERFECT - each grain of rice was coated in beautiful fat and was the homiest and warmest kind of dish. Would come back for this alone. I highly recommend coming to YuGo, especially if you have a large group and want to try a variety of dishes. All the flavors and cook were spot on, and we really enjoyed our time. Thank you YuGo!

Once seated they immediately came with water and we gave our drink order. We decided what to eat fairly quickly so when they came back they were ready to take our order! I feel like from sitting down to receiving our food it took maybe 10 minutes. Definitely the quickest service and exactly what we needed because we were so hungry! The food was incredible! They are very small portions so they recommend 2-3 per person. We also got the chef's sushi selection and it was so yummy, the fish was so fresh! I was afraid I wouldn't be full but after the meal I was perfectly full. The whole vibe of the restaurant was also great! Busy but not overwhelming and beautiful plates and presentation of the food! Would recommend!

I'm a huge fan of Camile Thai and have dined at the other location on the Lisburn Road. The concept is freshly prepared high quality and very authentic Thai food. This is evident from the decor to displays to the menu. On arrival I was warmly welcomed and given the menu. The deal was to order off the menu and for the team to cook, pack and Despatch the food. It was very busy and all 20 odd staff must have been there prepping, cooking, and packing as well as hosting!! I went for starters of chicken skewers (4), hot chicken wings (9) and crispy pork belly (lots). It took about 15 minutes to cook and took me about 15 to get home and the food was still piping hot!! The battered dishes were served on crispy vermicelli and sweet chilli dipping sauce. The batter was crispy and full of flavour. The crispy vermicelli was a great touch. The skewers were very moist and full of satay flavour. For mains I ordered Pad King Prawns with Jasmine Rice and chicken chu Chee curry with Jasmine rice. The chicken was very spicy and both dishes were beautiful. The pad prawns were distinctly flavoured with fish sauce and wonderful. If anything maybe the portion size was a bit small. There are fresh juices and drinks on display and plenty of offers to avail. This is definitely a superb addition to 'Bally-Snack-amor' Big thank you to the staff and management for the kind invite and best wishes!!!

It is very loud, both from people talking and then with music once that started. This is more of a vibe place than a good food place. Misoshiru has too much miso. The mackerel was a bit disappointing, the vinegar flavoring is light and it has that thawed from frozen texture. The rice is good, much better than I typically see stateside. The tuna was oddly sweet and didn't have firmness. The hamachi was spot on though, not sure why the other two were misses. The signature dish is fried monkfish in something similar to sweet and sour sauce, honestly not that impressed. Cheesecake is not as dense as American cheesecake and not fluffy like a soufflé, I think it was a good middle ground. Not too sweet.

The food was simply amazing and arranged like a work of art! We were quite a big group and the food arrived at the same time. The menu is quite varied - from more traditional Japanese style dishes to quite modern cuisine - I for one had a meal called 'Mad crab' which was a selection of seafood with a delicious cheese sauce and poached oak Choi with oyster sauce. The service was very attentive.
