My friend and I had dinner here earlier and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is still decked out for Chinese New Year and I guess with #Valentines coming up still will be. We decided to go for crispy chilli chicken, char siu mai dim sum and chilli oil!! The crispy chicken was crispy and chilli and char siu nice and moist and piping hot. We also had a side of crispy prawn crackers washed down with sparkling water and coke. For mains we shared chicken chow mein, roast duck stuffed with minced prawn and egg fried rice. The chow mein was amazing and plenty of rice, but not too keen on the duck which was fatty and slimy, was expecting it to be a bit crispier, however we polished it off!! There were other Chinese diners in which is always a good sign and tastes reminded me of being back in Hong Kong. Worth a visit!!

This place is a very popular eatery situated just at the bottom of Botanic Avenue. It is very popular with the local Chinese community which live around the area it resides in. It's always a good sign when the native people enjoy the cuisine there. You know your going to get something really quite authentic. At lunch time the do a great offer of three courses for around £7 which is a bargain. he courses are tiny, but there's three of em so you can't complain. Like a lot of the Chinese restaurants in Belfast, the service is swift and you can't expect you chill out there for a while to let your grub settle.

Delicious! Chinese food isn't my favourite, but every now and then it is just what I need. The dumpling platter for 2 was perfect to get me started with tasty Chilli dipping sauce. I ordered duck with ginger & spring onion, my usual Chinese food choice and I was not disappointed. Good fresh ginger and a delicate sauce to compliment the juicy tender duck. I think I was a bit too greedy by ordering a full side of yeung chow fried rice to myself. My son (just over 1 year old) gobbled up his satay chicken skewer starter as a main. He loved it and didn't want to let me have a taste, however I managed to sneak a bit and it tasted very good. Staff were lovely and helpful too. A tad expensive, but worth it.

We wanted to try somewhere different tonight that we'd never eaten in before and spotted this place due to its eye-catching glass exterior. On arrival there were only two other customers in the restaurant and this made me a little uneasy thinking we'd stepped into a dodgy below standard setup. But as the saying goes 'dont judge a book by its cover' and all that so off we went to request a table. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They seated us next to the window which was great for people watching. The menu is huge here with lots of appetisers and a three page list of mains. The food came out piping hot and was a perfect portion size. Warm prawn crackers are served whilst your meal is being prepared and these were greatly appreciated as my stomach was rumbling. I ordered the honey chili chicken and left feeling satisfied and not overly full. The chicken was coated in a crispy tempura style batter with the honey chili sauce poured over. The chicken was really tender and had just the right amount of chili. The only minor issues were that the restaurant was pretty cold and they could perhaps do with turning down their air con. Also the ladies toilets had a really unpleasant smell as though there were some plumbing issues. Despite this I'd likely return if in the area and try one of their many other dishes. Don't think I'll ever be brave enough to try the eel I noticed on the menu though!

Well located on Botanic avenue, and well dressed up inside. When we visited on a Sunday afternoon, it was really busy and we were lucky to get a seat. The staff were really attentive non the less, with no long, awkward waits. They offer the standard Chinese menu, with chicken, pork and beef dishes. However, we were lucky to be accompanied by a Chinese friend, who was happy to order some more authentic Chinese delicacies, which was an experience! These included duck tongue, chicken feet and cow stomach- not for the faint hearted, but wonderful! I think they have picture menus offering these dishes if you're interested. We also had Chinese tea (which was refilled all the time) to wash everything down. The restaurant does have a full licence, fi you want something stronger though. Overall, great experience and would recommend.

This restaurant is so impressive from the outside, somewhat similar to that of Speranza around the corner. We went in and as it is so big, there was very few seats taken. The place seems to do a trade of large parties because as we were waiting for our food, a group of 8 or 9 people came in and they were seated no problems, and if anything got more attention from waitresses than us. We weren't disturbed at all during our meal and my shredded chicken in like a spicy sauce was fine but I felt I could have probably made it at home. It's a decent restaurant and better than a takeaway, but I don't know if I will go back

Lee Garden is one of the better Chinese restaurants in Belfast and I'm always excited to be heading in be either for a sit down or takeaway. The first thing that's striking is the huge glass frontage which covers the two stories of the restaurant. Once inside it's all low lighting and chic décor but the big room and high ceilings make sure you never feel too cramped and normally the place is packed. There's a pretty comprehensive selection of dishes and they range from the generic (curries, sweet and sour) to slightly more exotic fare (lobster, duck etc). It can get pricey of you get a lot of side dishes but that's one of the best things about dining the Chinese way. We normally order a load of dishes and share them all round. There's a reasonable beer and wine selection, and they also do set meals and lunch specials which are normally good value as well. If you in the locale and fancy hearty Chinese in a pleasant environ then the Lee Garden is a worthy choice. Pros: Nice atmosphere, good food. Cons: There are cheaper options around

This massive building is one of many Chinese restaurants that has opened in the Botanic/Donegall Pass area, due to the high amount of Chinese people living nearby, and it's a nice place, lots of room for large parties, and the atmosphere is friendly and warm. The staff are really nice, and we've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. They open for lunch too, which is a really smart idea due to the fact that they are so close to 'studentville' - they really do benefit from this passing trade and the munchies of course. On a recent visit, I had the satay and the chicken curry - really lovely, couldn't fault it and we will be back again at some point in the future I'm sure.

Elements came out on the nearby search and the rating results so it was a no brainer. After ordering over the phone we headed straight over and guess what? It was ready for us. I was impressed with the clean interior of the takeaway and I liked the way you could see in to the kitchen. Also there was a comical sign on the window saying, 'Don't stand on the sofa or knock the window' - not sure what's gone on in the past but it was pretty quiet this evening. We ordered a salted chilli chicken dish with 2 sides and it was absolute perfection. Filling and flavoursome. The price wasn't too bad either. £9.20 for all this! I was impressed.

The Chinese owner behind the counter tried to make them leave by saying, "No hurt me, me Provie too, me Provie too!" This myth has literally travelled the world over so that whenever I've been in Irish bars in North America, second generation Irish kids will ask me if i know "Provie Charlie's" (the Weo Pings's nickname). For a chinese, the food isn't bad at all in the Weo Ping. It's of a much higher quality than other Chinese takeouts in the surrounding area. But I agree with the last reviewer that it can tiresome after a while, but I put this down to the fact that North Belfast's takeaways offer predominantly Chinese food with very little variety. So if I'm not screaming about how great this place is, it's only because I've grown up on it.

This is probably one of the first Chinese takeaways I ever tried and it's a brilliant one to start off with. Their salted chilli chicken is fantastic. The chicken is perfectly cooked, and despite in being a dish without a sauce it's never to dry. The best thing about Weo Ping however, is their curry sauce. By far its the best curry I've ever tasted and could possibly make an old trainer just tasty enough to eat! Their prices are brilliant, the delivery charge is barely noticeable. The only problem I have (if you could even be a problem) is their enormous portion sizes! This is only a problem because of the guilt I feel, throwing out their epic grub that I just couldn't fit into my belly!

We had a meal there last week before going onto somewhere else and, as usual, we were more than pleased. Nothing can quite beat the pleasure of perusing a menu with a cold Tsing Tao Chinese beer in your hand. While you're doing this, The Four Seasons, like most Chinese restaurants, serves prawn crackers while you do this, but it also serves little dishes of fire-hot chilli dip and a green chive and ginger dipping sauce that could lead to a momentary lapse in table manners as you try to scoop up the last bits. We always over-order, so we agreed to have 2 starters and one main course: how can I describe what their hand-made dumplings taste like? Or the 8 inch long, skinny spring rolls with their own pork and garlic filling? Kimchee beef followed, more beer and what do you know? Stuffed - again! Here are my tips for a successful visit: loose clothes, no thoughts of going on to party anywhere else, and a nice bed to drift into later! The staff are lovely and the clientele loyal, it's reasonably pricey, but so what when there's no pink, gloopy sweet and sour sauce in sight? This is a restaurant to treat yourself to, but you'll want to go back, I promise.
