I've been meaning the write a review of this place for some time now! A true favourite, had many amazing meals here! The restaurant is on the 1st level above a furniture shop, so finding the entrance can be a bit tricky, as its round the left hand side. Upon entering you're almost always greeting by the manager (/owner?) who is very attentive but not obtrusive and its obvious he cares a lot about his business and the quality and level of service given to customers. The decor is very nice and they can cater for groups of all sizes, from small intimate tables to larger tables that can sit 8-10 comfortably. Now onto the best bit... the food! The prices are about the same as most places in Belfast, around £8-£12 for a main, depending on what you go for. But the quality is top notch! Large variety - they pretty much have every dish you'd want for. Can definitely recommend the Satay Chicken skewers for starters and the Honey Chilli Chicken for main, or the Sizzling Sliced Beef Fillet in Mongolian Sauce (though this is more pricey at £14.95! but worth every penny!). If you haven't already found this place, you need to!!! ***

This is a really nice bog standard Chinese restaurant with all the normal dishes you'd expect to find on offer. The service is really good, quick and friendly and the food is always served hot and the way it should be. I always get the beef curry and fried rice which is really good, they do a mean curry sauce! Its a handy place to grab a takeaway from on the way home and its great to pop into after the cinema or during a drinking sesh in the surrounding bars! A great Chinese which just does exactly what it says on the tin!

Review Highlights - Joy Inn

My favourite dish is honey chilli chicken and whilst I'd say it was very tasty I have had it elsewhere and preferred it but I put this down to personal preference.

We had a meal there last week before going onto somewhere else and, as usual, we were more than pleased. Nothing can quite beat the pleasure of perusing a menu with a cold Tsing Tao Chinese beer in your hand. While you're doing this, The Four Seasons, like most Chinese restaurants, serves prawn crackers while you do this, but it also serves little dishes of fire-hot chilli dip and a green chive and ginger dipping sauce that could lead to a momentary lapse in table manners as you try to scoop up the last bits. We always over-order, so we agreed to have 2 starters and one main course: how can I describe what their hand-made dumplings taste like? Or the 8 inch long, skinny spring rolls with their own pork and garlic filling? Kimchee beef followed, more beer and what do you know? Stuffed - again! Here are my tips for a successful visit: loose clothes, no thoughts of going on to party anywhere else, and a nice bed to drift into later! The staff are lovely and the clientele loyal, it's reasonably pricey, but so what when there's no pink, gloopy sweet and sour sauce in sight? This is a restaurant to treat yourself to, but you'll want to go back, I promise.

The menu is vast and after a long deliberation I decided to try their crispy shredded beef with chili sauce- it didn't disappoint! The food was really good and the portion's were big too which is always great! They gave us free prawn crackers and the house wine was really nice too. We were with a group of 8 people and this didn't seem to phase the staff or the kitchen who all took it in their stride. Great pace to go for s date or with a big group as they can cater for all really well.
