Given the fast preparation, I wasn't expecting much but what awaited me was the BEST Pad See Ew of my life - such robust and delicious flavor, the consistency of the noodles were perfect (not too hard and chewy but not over cooked to the point of being too soft). There's nothing that shows off good cooking as much as doing a simple, classic dish really really well. We enjoyed our order so much that we went back and ordered a second one (this time with beef). Again, the food came very fast even though by this time, the line has gotten pretty long and the sitting area is basically full of their customers. The reasonable price tag on most dishes is also a plus. The service is average- not terrible- but it can be quite slow, especially during a busy dinner service. Your best bet is to order takeaway, that way you don't have to worry about finding a car park on or around King Georges Rd (not an easy feat at the best of times). And what's strange is that while eating-in can be slow, pick-up orders are always ready within 15 minutes. Whenever I arrive to pick up an order, it is usually already waiting for me. Fantastic! Some of the most delectable dishes include the satay chicken, wontons and vegetarian stir-fries. The deep fried ice-cream is a little oily (I know it's deep fried, but this was out of hand) but I ate it nonetheless and felt disgusting for it later. Stay away from the ice-cream and stick to the basics, and you wont go wrong.
