Though convenience is not its only plus. It could be easy to say that this place is just like your standard Thai restaurant with cheap food, quick service, and reliability. But it really is much better than most places that dot the map. It's $9 for a big portion of chicken, beef, or pork noodle and rice dishes, like pad thai. Stir-fries start at $10. I recommend trying the pad kra prao, which is a stir-fry of thai basil, chili, vegetables, and your choice of meat. Deli's is a cozy family restaurant, where you never feel rushed or unwelcome. The people working there are very friendly, and will always suggest a new dish if you desire to mix things up.

It's $7.50 with your choice of meat and sauce over steamed rice. Portions are generous as well and I'm always full afterwards - really great for take away meals. 1. Red Curry = I really enjoyed their Red Curry. Beware though as it's fairly spicy, but that's just the way I like it. I'm definitely getting this one again. 19. Pad Kra Prao = Paul J also mentioned this one as well. It was decent however I still prefer their Red Curry instead. This seems like a fine choice for something not as spicy though. Their other entrees are also very reasonable priced as well, just overall a great spot for a casual meal.

Anyway, since I hadn't had any for a while (basically a week), I decided to look for one as I was wandering along Glebe Point Road, and this place basically came up. As a restaurant it does its job, and it does actually have a much more authentic feel than some of those really flash thai restuarants that are appearing all around the suburbs. I ended up having a curry, but then that is what I generally end up eating at most of the Thai restaurants I visit. Oh and its pretty good value as well, though I would recommend avoiding it on the hotter days.

The staff here are lovely - recently my friend and I went back there after a couple of weeks away and I'd dropped her off to get a table whilst I parked the car. Walking in after parking my car in the Broadway shopping centre levels, the host greeted me at the door with a big smile, "You're friend is upstairs!" The tofu panang curry is delicious and 'the hangover' noodles are amazing - not sure if I'd recommend them for hangovers however, unless your plan is to sweat out the toxins with chilli. It's pretty cheap and the upstairs balcony is a great place to spy on the comings and goings of the neighbourhood. There is a homely feeling about At Home Thai. I mean, my home doesn't have that many tables, nor an abundant supply of bean sprouts. But being farewelled by every member of staff (chefs included) as you walk out their doors, it feels like you're farewelling friends, leaving their house after dinner. Only you pay this friend to cook for you and then leave before the washing up is done.
