I just pulled up a map and clicked restaurants because I was looking for a quick early dinner on a work trip. I saw Thai Time on the list and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! The service was very friendly and my food seriously took less than 5 minutes. I got the vegetable basil fried rice. Excellent flavor with just the right amount of heat! Abosolutely disappointing I ordered the basil chicken fried rice which is amazing I usually order It all the time but this experience I had will be my last. I ordered it and got all the way home just to figure out it was made incorrectly. The chef who made it obviously gave no fucks. The chef separated the rice from the chicken, bell peppers and basil which it never comes like and the flavor was awful when it is supposed to be served and cooked all together it was a different flavor and incorrectly made in general.I called and was very respectful and told the woman my complaints she was very polite and understanding and apologized but it was upsetting just to find out their policy was no refund or no exchange and nothing could be done..... WTF so you mean to tell me I have to take a loss for something the chef did wrong I paid 25 dollars for a disgusting meal. What a fucking disgrace smh read more

I don't live in Henry County, but I consistently ordered take out from this place during my WIC dietetic rotation at the public health department that lasted a couple of weeks. I ordered different dishes each time - mostly from their curries and stir fries. My favorite was their green chicken curry and ginger chicken. I always substituted for brown rice ($2 extra which is a pretty typical additional price for most places that offer it): however, lunch is still very affordable. You get a choice between an egg roll or a small side of soup with their lunch special for free. The entree, rice, and soup is more than filling enough for lunch. I always chose the soup that was consistently very good. It was always a toss up between the tom kha and tom yum. Both had pieces of chicken along with the basic veggies, which is a nice surprise. I think more people get take out during lunch. The few that eat here for lunch are lone wolves so if you're by yourself, then it's not so intimidating eating lunch alone. Service was always good. Food is always ready between 10 to 15 minutes max, and it's always the right order. The same server is there throughout the week, and she's super nice. She's by always by herself, but she always gets everything done in a reasonable time between the dine ins and take outs. I highly recommend this place for lunch if you're ever in Henry County. A VERY NICE CHOICE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER. This Thai restaurant is located in a small strip mall off of a major highway in McDonough. We decided to stop in for a late lunch after checking our options via Yelp. The restaurant was dark and cozy, (which I liked) and had table and bench seating options available. It had a nice red and black Asian inspired decor. We arrived just after 2pm so it was very quiet and we were the only "dine-in" customers during this time. We started with our favorite vegetable spring rolls which were stuffed with well seasoned vegetables. Next we both selected the Pad Won Sen (different levels of heat), which was comprised of glass noodles, bean sprouts, carrots, snow peas, onions, chicken and eggs. The serving size was very generous, very light and very well seasoned. My only wish is that the chicken had been cooked for a shorter period of time so that it did not lose its succulence and tenderness. Although the dish was still very good, the chicken was a bit overcooked for my taste. This restaurant is still a nice option when traveling through the city of McDonough. It is very accessible and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Service was attentive without being overbearing. read more

I frequently visit this place for multiple reasons. The food is great. Everything is made fresh to order, and I love the blend of sauces and spices. I especially enjoy the house sauce because it has a very unique flavor that sets it apart from other Thai restaurants. They also offer great specials for lunch and featured dinners that change frequently. The staff is very friendly and attentive. No matter how busy the restaurant has been, I have always received excellent service. In a town where unique, independent, non-chain restaurants seem far and in between, I'm happy to support local business. Both the food and service is going to be much better. I wish more locals would support these independent restaurants instead filling up the tables at huge chain restaurants. read more

From Jacksonville Florida and we have some really great Thai places there. This place was way below par. We had the coconut chicken soup which was way watered down and laden with MSG. It also had hard plastic feeling pieces of something un identifiable... Then we had salmon panang. Again the curry was watered down the veggies were fresh but that was the only positive thing. Another of our party had the Siam chicken the curry was way watered down and sooooo pea nutty that it could have been peanut butter soup. The chicken was obviously frozen prepackaged and chewy... When we were done we were disappointed but not motivated to do a Yelp review. It wasn't until we both got sick from the really heavy MSG that we felt we had to write. The entire night we both were up feeling nauseous and generally like our bodies were trying to detox... The next day we are still trying to recover... I love Yelp. Best app ever. Driving in town and looking for lunch and come across this place called Thai time. Checked with Yelp and all positive reviews. Came in and friendly staff and greeted right away. Menu was good and I ordered the spring rolls and Pad Thai Chicken. The place is fairly large and is capable of handling larger parties. They provide both dine in and take out. Sometimes there is a hidden gem and that's this place. They appear to be gem in the desert and I would recommend this place for sure. Very very bad attitudes I've been coming here to eat for years but within the last year the girls that works here are rude very rude and they are forever changing the open hours I get there at 7:34pm and she tells me with s very nasty attitude we closed I say but ur open til 8 and she tells me we closed again. One word GROSS!!!! I mean if this is Thai food than I'm Beyoncé Knowles!!! I randomly stopped here after visiting a friend 5 minutes away. It's so bad that I even regret visiting my friend (lol). Had an amazing dinner here tonight. I wasn't sure what to expect based all the mixed reviews. I must say I could find nothing negative about tonight's experience. The place was clean. The staff was attentive and gracious. The food was phenomenal. I had the mango grouper and my wife had salmon. Both were flavorful with just the right amount of heat, exactly as we requested. I have to add a conscious, objective review to compensate for the people who leave such a bad impression here. I'm a regular at Thai Time. The owners are siblings and they are the best! Brother and sister. They work pretty much alone and try their best to please their customers. A couple of very committed, hard working individuals. Yes, it can get really busy at times and it's crazy for two people to manage. One cooks, the other one does everything else. The food is amazing!!yes, they are originally FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY, yes, read slowly: they are from a different country, and grew up in a different culture! Obviously the people who left those mean reviews don't understand cultures at all! Please go and travel a little, try to understand there is a world out there and people act and communicate differently than you do. We care enough to say hi, to ask their names and to get to know them. We enjoy their amazing food every time we go there. I was recommended this place by a friend and told to get Thai chicken and coconut chicken soup. The waitress had no idea what I was talking about with the chicken and brought me chicken fried rice with Thai seasoning, which was decent enough. But when she brought out the soup, I could tell by the smell something was really off. I tried a few bites and it literally tasted like vomit. Like something had gone really sour in the soup. I told the waitress it was not good and I couldn't even finish it and it seemed rotten. She said that was how it was supposed to taste. She didn't offer a discount or to bring me something else.
