    Mango sticky rice - good
    Daira R.

What a great meal! This is so close to being 5 stars but alas, 4.5 rounded down to 4. To start, service was impeccable. I have a food allergy, and it was clear our waiter understood the importance of getting it right when it comes to allergies and was very knowledgeable on the menu! He walked me through dish by dish, discussing the preparation and ingredients so I could know what was safe to order. I was definitely disappointed that some dishes I couldn't have because they were pre-pared with ingredients that I cannot have. However, it was nice being able to confidently eat what we ordered. We opted to eat outside (we try to eat outside as much as possible due to COVID) and it was a little chilly. There were heaters however they didn't quite get it done for us. Blankets would have been a lovely addition. We loved just about everything we tried. We ordered satay, coconut soup, a beef dish, a chicken and beef dish, and the mango sticky rice. The peanut sauce that came with the satay was amazing. I could have eaten it by the spoonful. The coconut soup was so good, and lovely to have in the cold weather. I really liked the beef dish but didn't much like the beef and chicken - and my husband was vice versa from me! So it worked out nicely. We were excited for dessert but the mango was so cold we thought it might have been frozen. So we are the sticky rice but left most of the mango behind. We really enjoyed our meal here and would gladly return. Of note - the staircase to the bathroom is super steep - I wouldn't want to take that with more than a couple drinks in!!

This is an average Thai restaurant in my opinion. I haven't been to any others in Amsterdam but this one is a solid restaurant to grab some food. I had the shrimp appetizer deluxe and it came out quickly and tasted ok. Good appetizer to share between two people. I had the chicken pad Thai for my entree. It was a good portion size had tasted good, could of used a little more flavoring to it but the sauces they give you on the side are great to pack a bigger punch to it.

This is probably the best Thai food restaurant in Amsterdam. We really loved the food and the service was excellent

Holy crap! I feel like I've been robbed by watered down Thai Food in California! This is Thai Crack! I can't even put into words how savory the food is here! Green Curry chicken is insane! Mixed sampler is as good as it gets! I'm having a Tongue-gasm!!!! Wow!!!

    The crazy spicy Papaya Salad!

We went on a Saturday night at about 8 without a reservation and the host was very accommodating. He got us drinks while we waited for a table to open up. After we were seated we waited awhile and eventually had to ask for menus (they thought we had already ordered because we had drinks which is understandable). She was super apologetic and brought us some menus. The prices were pretty crazy, but we figured for good Thai food it'd be worth it. We ordered papaya salad to start with and it was so spicy our mouths were on fire! Again our waitress felt bad and brought us some tap water all while apologizing. The service was never lacking. She was a very nice lady. Our mains dishes were decent but nothing special. I got the basil chicken and my sister got the Thai noodles my sister loved her noodles. The portions were good my meal could have fed at least two maybe three people. It wasn't terribly impressive but it wasn't bad either.

#98 Curry Chicken after I put it together on my plate.

This place is small with just tables and chairs no booths. I ordered #98,it was chicken curry, medium. It came out very spicy! With very little vegetables. The flavors were good but it was a bit to spicy for me. Guess I should've ordered it mild. Everything was fresh. I think it was a bit over priced for Thai food. I'll probably be back if I'm in the mood for Thai in Amsterdam.

The broth is decdnt and everything else was flavorless.

Food poisoning. Usually love thai food so its a shame. My companion ate something else and did not get sick.

The service here was decent and the food was pretty good. It's not the best Thai I've ever had, but we left satisfied.

Our first time visited this restaurant and the overall experience was amazing! The quality of their food was excellent as in the flavor, authentic taste, temperature control and fresh ingredients. Their stir fried crispy pork belly with Kai lan was super good. We could not stop eating while waiting for our masamam curry to be served. The pork belly was roasted with smoky flavor and was really crispy blended well into the brown sauce with some little spicy chili flavor. It was just an awesome dish and goes well with white rice. Their masamam curry was rich and creamy with coconut . The beef was tender, the potatoes was soft and well cooked just at the right time management . With some peanuts in the curry made the entire dish super delicious! We enjoyed their food a lot!. Their service was great and staff was attentive to the customers' request. The moment you walked into this restaurant you know you made the right choice for Thai cuisine. Highly recommended for you to have a try if you are visiting Amsterdam city center. I personally liked the chicken lo mein. It definitely shined over the mall Chinese food I had a few weeks ago. The Thai was my second favorite and it was a second favorite for the table as well. You really won't regret it! Although it's not expensive, you might be tempted to keep ordering more... I know I was! That's always a good sign, I'd say.

We were walking towards another restaurant during a rainy afternoon and suddenly we passed by this hidden gem that looked super cozy and also the food looked perfect for the occasion, by that I mean steaming hot. We didn't think twice and quickly asked if there was room for two, which we ran with lucky bc the place is very small but two people were just paying to leave. We were promptly sat and attended. The food came out fast, steaming hot, generous portions. The chicken curry had an addictive ingredient bc it didn't matter that it was spicy I couldn't stop eating it! The vegetables were perfectly tender and tasty. The meat was juicy and cut into perfect bite chunks. Im not exaggerating when I say I had the most delicious chicken curry I've ever had in my life. My husband had the beef with garlic and white pepper which is onions. Also incredibly good. Both dishes came with a side of rice. At the end we were stuffed and super happy! We are a couple and we were looking for a nice place to have some Thai food on a Saturday night. When we entered asking if there was a table for two available, we were told to wait 5 minutes. So, we waited outside. Another couple were leaving, so we chatted to them about their meal and we asked what they would recommend. After a few minutes, we went inside again and we were aggressively waved away and told they were closed. I was left quite shocked and confused. At most, we had maybe been 7-8 minutes, but also nobody had mentioned to us that the table was ready, or not ready. So, I don't know what happened here. But, I was mostly surprised at the anger and aggressiveness, as if we had done something horribly wrong. I posted this on TripAdvisor, and instead of receiving an apology, I was accused of lying. Why would I make this up? So, I repeat. Do not go here. It's not authentic Thai food, the staff are dreadful (I have been to Thailand, and people are not like that there), and if you want to be aggressively waved away for absolutely no reason at all, well this is your place! We were quite upset by this, and also very hungry. Thankfully, there are many better options for Thai food, and we went to Thaise Snackbar Bird nearby. The staff were fantastic there, and chatted to us quite a lot. We told them about what happened (and they didn't accuse us of lying). Little Thai Prince (maybe replace the word "Prince" with something else). Also, I want to add that on Tripadvisor they respond to everyone's negative reviews with more rude responses and denials, instead of simply apologizing. I have been to Thailand, and I certainly never met anyone like this there. Shocking people, and a shocking place. -100 stars, if possible. It almost ruined our night. They should have paid me to eat there and I would have still said no. So glad we didn't actually get to eat any of their disgusting food.
