Pad Thai meats was a little over cooked. Dry and hard. Noodles were good though. Sushi was good overall. Wasn't a fan of the sunset roll tho. Ahi tuna wonton had a lot of tuna, but they should've made 8 wonton chips instead of just 4. Too much tuna on just 4 wonton chips. This establishment is awesome! Family-owned and family-ran, the owners run operations while the kids serve. The food is very affordable and extremely flavorful. The service is also outstanding. The curries are delicious--try the masaman curry, especially if you like avocados. They give jasmine rice as a side and it is just perfectly made. I've also tried their tempura vegetables and they are fried so perfectly that you wish that you could eat them every meal of the day (of course, that would probably result in a 500 lb weight gain, but they are so good!!! :)). They also have sushi, which I have yet to try but am willing to the next time I eat here. If you are in Warner Robins, don't be fooled by their location or the interior of the restaurant. Thai Pepper has some delicious food and it's super cute inside! I had the chicken pad Thai I think I ordered mild, but I should have ordered spicy. I also got a sushi roll, I can't remember the name, but it was delicious. I also had some plum wine, which was slightly tart and sweet. I went with a friend for lunch so it was quite and we had some privacy. The table was a little small though so when both our meals came and the sushi there was no room on the table. Prices are right for some of the best quality sashimi and sushi Warner Robins has to offer. Everything is always fresh, clean and delicious. Waiters are attentive and the atmosphere is comfortable. I usually give my patronage to restaurants outside of the Warner Robins area but Thai Pepper is one of my favorite places to go in town. It's not a chain and it's operated amazingly. Food is incredible. I stick with sashimi, usually with a side salad, amazing ginger dressing and a bowl of some of the best miso soup I've ever had. I am a previous fan of Thai Pepper. Yesterday I went there for my birthday and while eating I found a long piece of metal in my food. I discovered it after it was in my mouth. The server knew immediately what it was (a piece of the metal scrubber they use to clean the grill). The manager came over and said "sorry about that". There are several concerns. This happens enough for the servers to know what it is. The manager just said sorry, but still charged me for my food. That night I discovered I had a 1 inch long cut on the inside of my mouth. I do not think a shrug with sorry cuts it and there should be way more security checks in place for this not to be a common occurrence. read more

I've always wanted to try Thai food, so I searched Yelp and came across Thai Pepper. The reviews helped me make the decision to eat here and I'm glad I did! I ordered the Appetizer Sampler to start and the Spicy Eggplant with rice for my meal. It was all delicious, and I was pleasantly pleased as I've never had eggplant before. Thai Pepper is a great place to grab Thai food in Middle GA. I stopped in for take out and both entrees and appetizers were what I expected. The ginger salad was a little meh, but otherwise was satisfied with the meal. My thai iced tea was perfect and jumbo sized! I somehow managed restraint and saved half of it so I could enjoy another time. They have an easy online ordering system and everything was ready in the amount of time quoted. I stopped by to get an order to go from a place I normally eat at once to twice a week. I asked for extra sauce and was told there would be a up charge, no problem I agreed to the charge. I get home and find only one sauce. I called back and was told that any sauce is extra they do not provide any sauce with the $14.00 meal........WTH Lost a regular customer over a sauce. My wife and I stopped in for a lunch while we were in town. Happen to be in the mood for some good Thai food. The menu selection was fantastic, you could pair your protein with rice or vegetables. Each of our lunch entrées came with a bowl of soup and a spring roll. The hot and sour soup was superb, probably The best I have ever had. My entrée of pineapple rice was spectacular, filled with cashews and veggies. My wife had a chicken dish with stirfry vegetables that was delicious. Wait staff delivered the food and didn't come back to see how things were at the table to correct it. The issue was addressed after the meal. I only ate half the role. They were not busy at lunch like they use to be. Might have been an off day. Food is always good when ordering other dishes. It seems to be a hit or miss. Some of the best Pad Thai in town. We ordered through Waitr and it was delivered a lot quicker than expected. The dinner portions are huge and I was very happy with my choice. They also come with a soup or salad, I opted for the soup. The miso here is unlike any other restaurant I've been to. Most places we call their miso dish water, but Thai Pepper served me actual soup, which was good enough to order by itself. I don't go out to eat alone. Ever. So when I got my 9-5 job that came along with a whopping 1 hour lunch where we are encouraged to leave the building, I was torn on where to go, and anxious at the idea of having to socially interact with the world all by myself. I ended up at Thai Pepper because it was close to my work, and I had a cold that I wanted to knock out with spice that you just can't find in American food. I walked in, mustered up all the courage I had, and was able to squeak out, "Table for one?" Much to my amazement, I wasn't laughed at, had garbage thrown at me, or was told to get out and come back when I've made some friends. I feel creepy asking for Josh to be my server every time, so I'm hoping we already have a silent agreement going forward that he always will be. He knows the menu inside out, he makes great recommendations, and he doesn't treat me like a horrible person for eating out alone. You get a choice of soup or salad with lunch, and you don't have to choose the dressing so it limits the potential for self loathing for picking wrong. The meal sizes are huge, even for lunch. The first time, I had curried noodles and asked for it to be "Thai Spicy". I love being given the option to do some serious internal damage with spice. And damage I did. They were delicious, and I had leftovers for 3 days. The next time I went, I asked Josh what he could recommend in terms of not feeling like a total fatso afterwards, and he suggested these glass noodles that are made out of beans. BEANS! They were good, and the feelings of fatassery were greatly reduced. I will likely eat here once a week for lunch based on all of the above. read more

So I'm sure their food is wonderful. We didn't get an opportunity to try it. My sister and baby are vegans and so they require some specific accommodations. Honestly, if we hadn't been able to eat here and that was it...then I would have just left a tip that said--not vegan friendly, except with 2 exceptions. Both my sister and I will roll with the punches, should we need to, if a food item doesn't satisfy our requirements-- if we are in a pinch. I don't do sugar, she doesn't do animal products. But when it comes to a 10 month old with restrictions---you can't play fast and loose with that. The sad thing is it was only after inquiring about the ingredients at length, Bc of the baby's needs--that we found out that the only 2 sauces with no animal products in them at the szchezuan and teriyaki sauces--and both of those have plenty of sugar in them. My sister had already given her order for the DUI and it was only after our server---who really was a wonderful guy, truly, no sarcasm there----went to the back to ask about the sauces --- did he come back to let us know that dish did in fact have animal products in it. I actually, REALLY appreciate him being honest about that. So my biggest critique is that, the restaurant management doesn't seem to brief their staff on the ingredients of their menu. At a basic level, wait staff should know about sugar content, and dietary ingredients that could cause severe allergic reactions---especially shellfish! That's just a bad situation waiting to happen if they don't. I don't fault the staff whatsoever, it's more of a critique of the service. So, if you have personal dietary or religious dietary restrictions or shellfish allergies--maybe another place would be able to accommodate your needs better. And seriously, that server was WONDERFUL. We're truly grateful to him for helping us out as we did our interrogation of the menu. read more
