Nasty smell when we walked in did not improve during our meal. I think the Eggplant Lover's main course was too oily And my husband's green curry was mostly coconut milk. We prefer our tofu kept out of the deep fryer - but they would not Oh well, many good reviews here so I guess we just came at a bad time read more

I admit, my expectations were low (coming from Portland) . It was better than I feared. If I sat down in front of the meal I ordered, I would have been able to guess it was supposed to be pad Thai. It was a touch too sweet, but definitely acceptable. The waitress was friendly. read more

Edit:inconsistent food. The portion size once on our take out was half empty. It's declined in quality. We're going from one a week customers to never again. We've regularly had the pad thai, and it is fantastic! It tastes extremely fresh in terms of the ingredients and has an authentic flavor. The flavors blend perfectly in the dishes. One of our absolute favorite things about this place is the fact that you can order any dish with added heat on a scale of 1-5. Our waitress was kind enough to describe each level to us and that level 5 had some kind of extremely spicy pepper in it, I think it was the ghost pepper. She was even kind of enough to bring me a dish with the spice number 3 on the scale as a side instead of adding it to my dish. The prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. The portions are pretty big and a couple can get away leaving for a dinner date not spending more than 25-30 $ read more

Had the yellow curry dish and it was amazing. The service felt very warm and welcoming. It's nice to be able to access great food while on the road. Will be returning when passing through. Also very cheap for how great the meal was for two people. read more

Nice food and the food r real thai or at least 80 percent which better then and "white" version of asian cuisine! read more

This place is small but the food taste simply the best, excellent! service is great and the price is pretty reasonable. I can recommend this to all who love authentic Thai food. The best food experience we had so far for our entire trip. read more

I miss Original Thai 2 - their Rama Thai was so good. But we're very happy with this place too. They can get really busy and the wait can be long, but the food is delicious. I love all their curries, their house curry is especially yumtastic. We've tried most of their noodle dishes as well, I have a particular favorite but I can't remember the name. Maybe Drunken Noodles? It has cashews in the sauce. I agree with another reviewer that it can be cold inside, and I think they might could do with a bigger facility, but I do recommend. The regular Original Thai in Rexburg is still there and we can get Rama Thai there when we're in the mood for it (super yummy). read more

Having eaten in many Thai restaurants this one was the worst ( waiter pleasant). Fried rice was literally white rice with some sauce in,it and two tomato. Did not even resemble to picture or fired rice. The Chicken curry was soup! The drunken noodles was swimming in soy sauce. In from out of town and very bad food. I don't think it's original Thai restaurant! read more

So I gave a four because the service was great! & the Spring rolls are yummy! But, I went there to get my Pho fix. Don't do it people. Worst Pho I've had & Im a Pho snob. They make theirs with paste not bone broth which totally defeats the purpose of Pho. First time I've been disappointed by Pho. read more

Great Tai food! The pad tai reminded me of being back in Thailand. The beef salad was good and for dessert we had the sticky rice and mango. Yummy! read more

I ate here twice so far and was quite happy with selection and food. The service was fast and the place was clean and roomy. Overall, a good place to eat. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Delicious food with good service. Food took less than less than 15 minutes from order to served on table. For a peak dinner time, that's commendable. Recommended - house curry, Thai friend rice n pineapple fried rice. read more

Worst restaurant ever because of following reasons * they will make you wait for over an hour for food and won't apologize * always messed up the order * found hair in their food * even found bugs in their food We are never going again..... This restaurant and management both sucks!! read more

While there is better thai food where I live in California, it's always awesome to have thai food in Idaho Falls... I like this place better than the one on the West side, although I heard it's the same family? I think the food tastes better, but the atmosphere isn's as good... so you decide. I always get yellow curry. It's my favorite at all thai places. I tried their eggplant dish (maybe it was ginger eggplant? I can't remember for sure) but that was pretty good too. And you can never go wrong with chicken satay as an appetizer! read more

Had the green curry. Holy crap it was g ood. Highly recommended. This is the second time I have eaten here. Both time it was awesome. Be aware it is a little cold inside and the service is a bit slow read more

I've eaten here a few times and am (sometimes) impressed. It always seems to depend on the chef working. My biggest problem is their lack of consistency. The fare should be across-board good. I know they all work with the same ingredients; so why should a seafood platter on a Tuesday have great calamari, when on Saturday, it becomes a rubbery chewathon with little flavor? Still, decent price for items offered, so I never felt I overpaid for what I got. read more

For food this place gets a 4 for certain! We all enjoyed the lovely variety of flavors in each dish. It was a bit under staffed tonight but all staff were courteous and helpful! Would enjoy a beer and more ambience but certainly the food made up for it! I'd love to go back again when I'm in Idaho falls! read more

Thai Kitchen - House curry with tofu, pad Thai with tofu, cashew with veggies. Also a cucumber salad for starters ! Lovely food - Thai Near Me - Idaho Falls, Idaho

Got take away on a late Sunday afternoon. Waited in restaurant for food to be prepared. Got six orders that included Pad-Thai, drunken noodles, yellow curry and pad see-eu. Food was okay. Little bit higher on the spice scale than others we've had. "They don't do halves" as in spice of 1-1/2. Seemed to be very salty as well. Had to purchase a full fried rice order when all we wanted to buy was a small toddler portion. Restaurant concrete floor was definitely in a slip resistant condition. Some people may call it sticky. Maybe we'll return but it's definitely not our first choice for Thai here in Idaho Falls (read: Krung Thep). read more

I really enjoyed this place. the staff was friendly, and I got a soup with my orser. the price wasn't bad; ofcourse, I went during the lunch period. for that, and a lemonade, it was about $11. it was my fault I cut the experience short because I realized I had to be somewhere in about 20 minutes. when I asked for a togo box, they were more than happy to give me the check and the to go box. I could not complain. read more

I read reviews on how the pho soup was no good. I disagree. It may not be the best ever, but the taste is good and the portion more than enough. I will be back for my pho fix again. Ordered hottest level and that was good for me--have had much spicier, but this level is great for me. Give it a try, you will like it. read more

I love Thai Kitchen. My favorite is house special curry. Everything is consistently delicious.

First, the good: the food was generally very good. We had the house curry, drunken noodles and Tom Kha soup. The service was good and generally a nice quiet ambiance. The curry puff appetizers were my favorite thing. The bad: the Tom Kha was way too sour with lime, which unbalanced the other flavors, and if there is a worse smelling bathroom in IF, please cover the smell with a few rotting corpses. It was as if all the good smells of the restaraunt were saturated in the bathroom and left to rot for two weeks. Seriously lost my appetite. Dessert was a toss up. We got the custard and sticky rice. I have seen a more appetizing visual presentation of a worm on a hook, but the taste was pretty good. The sticky rice has almost no sweetness, but would have made an incredible appetizer or side dish. That is not something anyone should say about a dessert, and I would bet good money the custard was cooked in a microwave, which made a terrible texture but the taste was still good after you got over the texture. Overall, I am sure we will be back, but not regularly. read more

Fast, attentive service that Isn't bothersome, good prices, and great food. The drunken noodles were on point - 4/5 heat was the right mix between the subtle sweet/savory sauce and the spice. Tables were clean and has fresh soy sauce and plenty of napkins - the mint was good too read more

It's good a bit pricey for what ya get but over all good the Service is OK but their food is really good

Ate here recently and really liked the food. Fresh, hot and tasty. I asked for mine to be very spicy and it was a little less than that. But not enough to complain about. Service was also top notch. The other three guys that i dined with also enjoyed their meals very much. read more

Absolutely the best. I've not yet made it through the entire menu but I'm working on it. Drunken Noodles...wow! We go here at least once per week and sometimes more. I don't think we've been to IF without eating here since we found it. read more

Best place to eat in Idaho Falls! Amazingly nice waiters, fast service and some of the best Thai food I have ever had!

My favorite place to eat in Idaho Falls! The food is great. The service is very nice, BUT they don't seem to be trained very well. I get the impression that few of them have had any prior serving experience. That can make it frustrating when you need plates cleared, drinks refilled, etc. Also, they don't really know what to do with special requests (e.g. extra sauce in a meal). But the food is amazing! Get the house curry! And if you like seafood, try the Tom Kha with seafood. read more

Ordered through grub hub and was missing a whole meal. Restaurant blamed it on grub hub even after showing them the receipt. Wouldn't fulfill the order and didn't have an updated system to accept Apple Pay to just buy it there. Terrible customer service from grub hub not refunding fees and the restaurant for not working with me on the order. read more

Coming from Cali on our way to Yellowstone, we needed to try this place to see how it compared with our California Thai options. Surprisingly, this place was top notch! It is very comparable and the Tom Kha soup was the best we've ever tasted! Even beats our California soup! We also had their fried rice and their chicken with veggies. If you're in this area and are craving Asian food, this place will not disappoint. read more

Finally! After trying, just about, every Asian place in Idaho Falls, I've finally found a place I really enjoy. While the spice levels are still on the low side, compared to other places out or state (I had everything at a 5 and it barely had any spicyness to it), everything was very delicious. The servers were super friendly and on top of everything. I had a couple of my favorite dishes and topped it all off with some sticky rice. I honestly am beyond happy with how everything turned out. I've had so many bad experiences already, not just with Asian food, that it was nice to finally have such a good meal. Truthfully, the sticky rice (I had both the mango and the custard) were absolutely phenomenal. Each of them sits in their own little bath of sweet goodness and it topped off the meal perfectly. This is the first place in town that I actually couldn't stop myself from devouring everything. It's also the only place I haven't had any leftovers at. Super good, highly recommend it if you need a Thai fix. read more

There are a few Thai restaurants in Idaho Falls, but Thai Kitchen is my favorite. Consistently great food and super friendly service. I always get a Thai iced tea because it is so good. In fact, every time we go here, they know everyone at the table will get one. My favorites are their House Special curry and Kra Pow. Can't recommend this place enough. read more

I wanted to give this place three and a half stars. The prices are fine, and so is the decor, and I'm glad it exists in Idaho Falls. But the food was a bit greasy and heavy and not super tasty. Decent, and better than the miles of fast food around it. But nothing too special. read more

Thai Kitchen is the best Thai in town! My husband and I order takeout about once a week and are always satisfied! My favorite is the pineapple fried rice or pad Thai, and my husbands favorite is Thai fried rice and chicken sa-tay. All the people who work here are friendly and awesome! read more

Finally tried the actual food here. I ordered take out because I didn't want a repeat of my last experience. I got the pad Thai and chicken sa Tay to share with my husband. We loved it. My husband has never had Thai before, and he really loved the pad Thai. It's also probably the best pad Thai that I've ever had. I'm not a huge fan of veggies that are raw and luckily they put the cabbage and bean sprouts and carrots on the side. My husband loved mixing them with his part of the pad Thai though. The chicken sa tay was delicious and I loved the peanut sauce. The only reason I'm giving this three stars is because of our terrible experience last time. But better than 1 star! Maybe if we have a good serving experience next time I will change it to four stars. But only consistent restaurants should get five stars... However the food is still amazing. read more

We love this place! The satay is a great starting dish, and the house curry can't be beat. The generous portions always mean two meals.

Ate here a few times for lunch. Small place, not too fancy but have always really liked the food we ate. Friendly, Thai cooks, always a yummy lunch. read more

I got there like ten minutes before three hoping to still be able to get the lunch specials. Instead we had to wait 5 mins to be seated when there was all the empty tables besides two of them. I don't know if there not use to having more than tables or what but that's ridiculous. Than after they at is they still took another 5 mins or so to attend us. And my girlfriend tried ordering something from the lunch special but they said it was over. Pretty disappointing. Also my girl tired ordering Thai ice tea and yellow curry but they said they were all out of both and all their currys. How are you out of everything by three? So we just left and now we are at the other Thai place and everything is so much better over here. read more

Casting obsessive preplanning to the wind, during a recent Idaho trip we found ourselves in Idaho Falls, hungry and running a bit late and resorted to the old-school option of using the phone book! Pay Dirt! We found a small, unassuming Thai wonderland. First off, this is a dive; it's in a shopping mall, the decor is pretty minimal, the seating is tables, and the staff doesn't wear tux's. I have had some of the best food in places like this and I had high hopes for the Thai Kitchen. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendlyand efficient. They offered us useful advice on the menu and I have to admit, makes some pretty fine Thai food. The three of us all were quite pleased by the food we ordered, and we had one of the best Massaman curries ever! It had a remarkable depth of flavor, almost perfume-ey, and was perfectly prepared. The the portions were generous; and we took away with us some tasty snacks for later. This may be a staggering distance from Thailand, both culturally and geographically, but the tastes, the spirit and the quality of the food is a fine representation and I am very happy we found it. If I lived closer it would be a regular stop for me. We shall return! read more
