Sorry to say, I'm revising my previous 5 start review. My favorite dish had changed, the staff had changed, the food and feel of this restaurant had changed and I'm not happy about it. While it still looks like it always has, the food is definitely not what it was a year ago. My sizzling duck didn't sizzle like it used to. In fact it seemed the dish almost completely changed. Haven't been here for a while but going to check it out again soon. I LOVE this place. The Thai food is fantastic. My father in law used to live there and he said it is great as well. Love the satay, Thai rolls, both great appetizers. Love their curries, the Masaman curry is my favorite but my brother and wife love the red curry as well. Comes with lots of great veg in there too. I have had the duck a couple of times and it is always very good too, as is the whole fish if they happen to have it that day and a few of you want to share. Just went back after a year hiatus and was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp Pad Thai was great (medium spicy was hot) My husband had the green curry beef. He said he thought it was good but since he ordered his hot spicy his mouth was numb. They did skimped on the rice, strange since it's such an inexpensive item. read more

Unfortunately we came across this place on Grubhub. The positives of the place was that the food was done quickly and the delivery bags had tamper tags on them. I give this place a 3.9 (hence the 4 stars) out of 5. Good solid taste and texture. Flavors have some boldness and the it doesn't taste flat (to the non foodies that means having no seasonings). Spring roll was very crunchy and it was accompanied by a nice sweet sauce which id imagine is their version of a sweet sauce. It's a little too heavy on the oil side. The food sat well in my stomach and didn't cause discomfort; unlike other Thai places I have eaten at. Portion is not the largest but then again it was take out. Thai tea was good. Little bit too much on the condensed milk side. Overall I was satisfied with my meal. The chicken pad Thai was a 3.8 out of 5. Thai samurai is still my top rated place. Noodles were consistent, bean sprouts were fresh but the peanuts seemed a little too mushy. They lacked that crisp texture to them. It could have been from the humidity of the dish though so that will be undecided. It is a passable place to eat if you are craving Thai food but not something I highly recommend if you have other options. Price is on the higher range. I only had a chicken pad Thai and Thai tea. It all came out to 13.81 which I find pretty expensive for a small portion meal. The front desk girl was very nice. Had my food immediately ready upon arrival. Everything here is excellent. The atmosphere is very authentic. You'd never know your in a shopping plaza once you step through the door. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am vegan and when I tell the server, they always let me know if something I'm thinking of ordering has meat or dairy in it. Very helpful. The service is great. The food is phenomenal. I'd say a little less than subpar. Probably won't return. The service was friendly, maybe it was because I ordered to-go,but the food wasn't worth the price at all. For $32 (before tip) at dinner time I got red curry beef, egg rolls, and pineapple fried rice. -The egg rolls were meh, the sauce was basically sugar, water, and vinegar; no flavor.. -The red Curry had less then 2pz of protein and 3/4 full container. The "jasmine" rice that came with it was nothing more then Uncle Bens. IM SORRY BUT AS A THAI RESTAURANT YOU NEED TO HAVE THE BEST JASMINE RICE IN TOWN! Vacationing near weekie wachee and wanted some good thai food and saw all the good reviews so though lets try it. 1st off came here mon cuz yelp said they were opened and they were closed so came the next day. The thai lady with glasses sat our party of 8, they was only 3 tables in the whole place and her lack of enthusiasm to service us just set the tone for the whole meal. Seemed like she was rushing us the whole time, quick to seat us, basically threw our food at us, quick to take our plates and quick to give us the check. Now i don't know if these other yelpers being from a small town knew what real thai food should taste like but this ain't it. I got the panang curry and my bowl of curry had tons of over cooked veg small amount meat and hardly any curry. My wife got pad thai. Now being from atlanta we had our fair share of pad thai and this was horrible the pad thai was wet, watery, too sweet and the sauce tasted like grocery store bought generic pad thai sauce. The appetizers were nothing special and not plated well. If your desperate for thai then do it, but if you are expecting authentic great Thai food aviod. I bookmarked this place immediately after reading Kevin F's review many months ago. If it was that good, then I had to get some of that. The problem is that I don't often have much reason to head up to Spring Hill. Who does? ;-) Then I get a call from a woman who wants to sell her house in Spring Hill, so off I go to take the listing. When we're done with the paperwork she remarks, "If you like Thai food, there is a good place around the corner." Goodness! It's Thai Cuisine! Kevin F. was right! This place is pretty decent. I only went to lunch here while visiting a friend though, so I can't say about the nice dinners =P It's in a little shopping center. Not too great of atmosphere. But the food is good. Fast & friendly service and definitely right prices! I like right prices lolz =P Anyways I had the Lunch Special, which includes appetizer, soup, rice and main dish! I chose to have the "Tom Yum Chicken Soup" and "Garlic Black Pepper". Oh and a coke. Both of these were good. The Garlic Black Pepper description is: Choice of meat sauteed with garlic black pepper sauce served on a bed of mixed vegetables. This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant. They changed their pad Thai recipe or something. It was really sweet & the meat was incredibly tough & chewy. The meat also had an old flavor to it. I think they have new owners again. The owner lady was at our table quite often, and service was superb between her and the waitress. If you have read my other reviews you know that presentation is very important to me. Here, presentation is also important. I had a the whole snapper in chili sauce which was very tasty, and perfectly cooked. Who wouldn't like the look of an entire fish, eyes, fins and all? My wife's duck in black bean sauce was also beautiful and yes, it tasted good too. Beers were cold, glasses kept full, and restrooms spotless. Definitely worth a trip to our little hamlet. read more

My first experience having Thai food. The food was very tasty, I'd give that 4.5 stars actually. The service left a bit to be desired. We ordered ice water when we ordered our appetizers but did not receive it until AFTER we were served, and we did ask for it again. There were only 2 other couples in the restaurant at the time. Was also surprised that our meals were served on chipped plates with only knives... I had to take silverware from the table across the aisle from our booth. I will have Thai again, I might even try this place again... could have just been a bad night ;) read more

I order from Thai Cuisine frequently and every thing is always consistent. The owners are very friendly and always make me feel welcome. The food is also decent considering the location. My biggest issue is the portion size is really skimpy. Even if you order extra meat the portion of the meat in the dish is still lacking. I think they are the smallest meat portions I've ever seen in a Thai Restaurant. The flavor of the food is good and it's always the same but I just wish there were more than 4 or 5 small slices of meat in a $10 dish. Like I said everything is always fresh and tasty except I would say to skip the Crab Rangoon since they have curry powder in them. To me they don't taste like what I expect a crab rangoon to taste like. read more

So happy I found an authentic Thai restaurant in this area where Asian cuisine is hard to find! Ordered the chicken green curry and it was spot on. Had it Thai spicy and I love that they give you a variety of hot sauce options that is presented in 4 different ways. Their house hot sauce has REAL chili peppers and was my favorite! Next time I will take photos! My husband had the shrimp fried rice which was flavorful and def had the Thai flavors. The ice tea is also authentic not powdered they actually use real tea bags to make their ice teas which I was impressed with. The place def needs to be updated but It's still cute and had the Thai decor. What's more important is that the food is authentic, tons of flavor, and spot on. If you're craving Thai I recommend them. So happy I discovered this little gem in a small town! read more

This food brought out the inner fat kid in me, family friend & his son. Their curry is delicious, the teas are hot, and the staff are fantastic - checked in on us just enough to make sure we were good on food and drink. Their Thai doughnuts were sweet and delicious (from what I heard, didn't try it). The veggies still had a bit of a crunch to them - just how I like em! Had the lychees for desert - they were out of rambutan but whatever, the lychees were delicious! Will gladly be coming back here! read more

This place is just fantastic!! The service was friendly and outgoing and the food was marvelous! Started with the spring rolls. I seem incapable of remembering that spring rolls are fried. I was actually wanting the summer rolls in rice paper but it was my fault (dummy) and the fried rolls were excellent. Not greasy at all. We followed with entrees: he had the green curry, spiced to medium, and it was pleasant to his spice level. Huge portion, we really should have split a few things. I had the lemongrass soup with tofu and the duck salad, spiced "Thai hot". Maybe my palate has bottomed out or maybe Thai restaurants are hesitant to crank up the heat. Although delicious, I would have liked it to be much hotter. Finished with the coconut ice cream- mine topped w lychee and his with wonton wrapped, deep-fried banana. Great local business? NOT THIS PLACE! Over cooked vegetables (pre-cooked it seems) and horrible fatty meat with watered down broths/sauce. Expensive for pig slop, and I cannot understand for the life of me some of the reviews here that give this place rave reviews. It seemed as if my wife and I were an impediment to their business when we walked in rather the the reason they are in business. She was obviously not happy with our arrival, and the cook must have been plain angry at us. If you've ever had REAL Thai food, this is not it. It actually tasted as if they went down to Winn Dixie and bought the frozen stuff and fed it to us. One word? HORRIBLE! read more
