I decided to come here since I LOVE Thai curry and wanted to try someplace new. For my take-out order, I got the spicy yellow vegetable curry dinner special with a spring roll and salad. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't have to spend a fortune and the dinner was out of this world! The salad was fresh and moist (not dry and orange like some places) and the peanut sauce used as the dressing was creamy and enticing. The spring roll was slightly crunchy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. I'm not a big fan of egg or spring rolls, but this won me over! The curry was amazing!!! I am very picky with my curry and it has to be made just right for me to like it. It was fresh and spicy and the brown rice was the perfect consistency, soft and moist. The curry had fried tofu in it that was made perfectly and chunks of potatoes and carrots and onions. The potatoes and carrots were soft and almost melted in your mouth and the onions were soft and sweetly caramelized. I have found a new Thai restaurant to go to! LOVE It! read more

The food was ok. It wasn't super memorable where I would crave their food. I could POSSIBLY be spoiled by my favorite thai place who sometimes let me sample some non-americanized menu items. Ing Doi was just okay. I would probably give them more stars but their delivery was more memorable since my food didn't come for over 90mins. I checked in before 60min hit. The delivery was supposedly coming. Then... again I tried once it was 90min. Same response : Your delivery is coming. Next time-- which will never happen-- call the customer and let them know how busy you are and not to expect you for a while. Or not to eat their own limbs. We have been going here for a little over a year and this is the best Thai food in SCV. It's nice to have actual real chunks of meat in a dish rather than processed or shaved. The veggies are always fresh and their sauces are amazing! The family is very friendly and accurate with our orders and will deliver within a reasonable time. I come to this place often and love their food! Always get their crab and cream cheese wontons, spring rolls, pad see yew and yellow curry. Food is great and same with service! Food always comes out very quickly too. If you come here, you can check into Yelp and get a free Thai iced tea which I always get when I come here. I had high hopes for this place as it had pretty decent 4 star reviews. However, ultimately I found it disappointing. Pros: The service was friendly, attentive, and overall excellent. The food came out very quickly. My Thai iced tea was delicious! My wife really enjoyed the vegetable soup that can with her lunch special. Prices are pretty reasonable! Cons: The food was only so-so. My wife and I ordered two lunch specials to split. One with Pad Thai with shrimp and one with yellow coconut curry with chicken. These are two of my favorites, so I like to use them as a barometer for Thai food. The Pad Thai was decent but ultimately lacking in flavor. The yellow curry had good flavor but was much too mild. I asked when we ordered if there were different spice levels available, but there were not. In summary, you can get decent Thai food here for a good price with excellent service. But if you are looking for a really delicious Thai meal that will leave you wanting for more, I'd recommend eating elsewhere. read more

My husband and I really loved this place it's close to our house we've ordered there several times. Tonight when we got our delivery order I opened up my soup and there was HUGE WAD OF DARK HAIR entangled in several pieces of broccoli and veggies. I cannot believe how much hair was in the container of soup. THAT IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I wish I could've taken a picture but my husband threw it away immediately. Every time I come to this place the charge for something that should come with the meal. Whoever heard of having to pay for rice at any Thai restaurant or any Asian restaurant for that matter. Tonight I ordered the cashew nut chicken dinner special. 3 cashews and 6 tiny pieces of chicken. Overly sauced and incredibly salty. It came with soup( not extra!). Soup had absolutely no flavor. Yes, it is true... their service has gone down a lot. We gave this place a try a good three times. Each time we chose delivery. But their delivery has taken a nosedive. It shows "free" when I punched in my address. So, each and every time, there was never a charge. Then, he tells me there's a charge, and something about GrubHub trying to reach me to inform me on this, too. I said "it's not the $3 I'm concerned about, it's the principle of it all. Just show this on Yelp or your site, rather than 'free', because now it comes across as you're deceiving the customer." In the end, I called GrubHub. They confirmed "we have nothing to do with a $3.00 fee. I see it should be free. She apologized. I ended up canceling, realizing the place was trying to pull one over, they just did not show this son Yelp. So... be very aware because it is deceiving. Again, we just wanted to try this place out. Our go-to Thai food place is "Sister House Thai Fusion". We wanted a backup second place, but we'll continue to stick with Sister House. Good luck out there! read more

I ordered delivery from here once and didn't order again for a while...but I couldn't remember why. I assumed that the food must have been bad, and just steered clear. Then I ordered them again tonight, and I realized why I had sworn them off in the past. Through their delivery service, rice doesn't come automatically with your order. If you order an entree, like a curry, you get only the container of curry and anything else you've ordered--rice costs extra, and is separate. I've never heard of that with takeout food before, especially any kind of asian fare--everything comes with rice. It's just a given. Not here. The first time it happened, I was REALLY angry because I didn't have any rice at home and had to wait half an hour for my rice cooker to churn some out. I got delivery so I wouldn't have to cook, so you know... (EDIT: Apparently there is another separate place that used to deliver to my area, and doesn't anymore and they ALSO did not include rice in their order..go figure. Okay, so apparently I shouldn't make assumptions, but still..I personally prefer when the rice is included. I'm not going to eat this stuff out of the container by itself, it needs something to go with it.) Anyway, the food is decently good. Everything I've ordered generally just seems to taste "okay". Nothing really blew me away, but it's not bad either. It's good, solid Thai food. I guess the rice thing must have made me really mad last time, so this was only the second time I ordered from them, and I still forgot about the darn rice! Fortunately this time I had a giant container already cooked and set aside, so all I had to do was reheat it with my meal. Still pretty inconvenient if you're assuming that there's rice in there, when there isn't. My suggestion is to please include rice in the order, automatically, even if you raise the price. Most people are going to want rice with their food, especially Thai food. Also, I would love some descriptions of what the food is, and what you put into it, on the GrubHub menu. It just has the names of the food, and some of it I would be curious as to what is included in it (peanuts, peppers, etc) so I can decide whether I want it or not instead of having to guess, based on what I have already tried elsewhere. As for the good stuff: The people are nice and polite, the food is MUCH more affordable than some of the other nearby places, and they are actually able to find my house and come all the way up the steps and deliver the food personally. The portions are a good size, and everything is very filling and reasonably tasty. They also show up much faster than other places I have ordered from. It typically only takes them about half an hour to cook everything and bring it by, while with other places I have waited over an hour for food (that are the same distance away, or closer). So, in conclusion, they're pretty decent, at least for delivery! I'll have to go into the actual restaurant someday and see how that varies versus my prior experience.. read more

Ordered the Beef Salad and it was very salty and was not able to eat it. I mentioned it to the server and ordered a Papaya salad. This was descent taste. Then I ordered a Thai Ice Tea and 90% of the glass was ice and the balance was tea and milk. I paid a $70+ tip bill for lunch menu (for 3 people) and they did not credit me for the Beef Salad or the watered down Ice Tea. Be cautious when you visit and order items. read more

Ordered here through yelp for delivery over 1 1/2 hrs ago, still waiting and waiting and no food. Come to find out we are out of range and that our delivery food was now for pick up. We had no idea this was the case until they called us to pick up 30 minutes before they were closing. We wish we had known this instead of waiting the whole time for our food. The girl over the phone was NOT helpful and could care less that we were waiting clueless this whole time. Seriously will NEVER order from this restaurant again. They are SO quick and efficient in their cooking and all of their flavors are on point. Their staff is always friendly and I get the same high quality service and food every time I come in here. Their prices are great and their portions are generous, including their lunch specials. I love their pad Thai, curry dishes and fried fish dishes. Fast delivery and friendly service. We've never eaten inside the restaurant but order delivery from them a few times a month. The food always makes it to us in less than an hour and it's always hot. The food is pretty good although I have found their Pad Thai to be pretty dry every time I order it. We love their wonton soup, orange chicken and prik khing. Delivery is free with a $15 minimum order which is why we consistently order from them compared to other Thai restaurants that charge a delivery fee or make you meet such a high minimum for free delivery. We have food delivered from here quite frequently. Their food is fresh and good. They have a variety of things for all different tastes. I ordered a young coconut drink for delivery too, and it was so good. they cut it perfectly and it was delivered safely and cold. Their sticky rice and mango is not that great.
