Thai Banyan Tree describes it self as serving "real Thai fusion cuisine", the menu offers some Thai meals incorporating Barrimundi, crab and prawns. Apart from these seafood options I did not see much on the menu which particularly qualified as fusion, the dishes were fairly standard Thai fare.
None the less the food is good, I was not feeling particularly adventuous and decided on the good old Chicken Pad Thai. And it was what delicious, what I expected, what I wanted.
The Banyan Tree has a good location to it is a cosy little place and being in Arden place it is near the Coogee Beach, but over the other side from most of the action so it escapes the hustle and bustle. read more
