Bought some of the organic strawberries for Ma's Day 2020 and I am still searching for the sweetness it claimed on their stand.

Walked into Mother's for the first time to find a super clean organized market. Employees were…read morefriendly, and I was actually there just to check out their fresh kitchen. Picked up a delicious ready to go breakfast burrito with cheese, egg, bacon, and potatoes. Super tasty... I mean I was actually impressed. The also gave me a creamy green avocado salsa which made it even better. Prices overall at this market can be pretty steep but the good customer service seems please.

0 stars for the recent customer service at the Brea store and from management/customer care…read more There is a dead-eyed blonde female cashier who stands off to the side of the cash register drinking from her Stanley cup, tapping her nails, not wanting to be bothered. No eye contact, no greeting and doesn't even say the total $ amount owed. She mindlessly, sloppily dumps the groceries in the bag. The first time I went, she shoved everything into 1 overstuffed bag, so I asked for an extra bag on the side. If I hadn't gotten another bag, it would have ripped. I had to redo everything in the car and noticed the smashed produce and bread in the middle and bottom of the bag. She put all of the other heavier items on top of them including cartons of milk and eggs. This employee has been there the last 3 times I've gone. So I filled out the contact form on the website about the terrible customer service and NEVER received a response. In addition to the awful customer service (only from this 1 employee), several times the produce I bought ended up rotting way too quickly. Their healthcare section just got downsized a lot too. This location has gone downhill! I hadn't been to Sprouts in Brea for a long time, and went there instead this past weekend - more selection, better prices and MUCH better customer service!!

Location is in a small parking center with ample parking. The place is a mix between a meat store…read moreand a restaurant. I didn't order any cuts of meat, but they looked to be reasonably priced and quality. They had some TVs going on playing the playoff games, with some families inside enjoying their sunday afternoon. Seems like a quaint location to just have a pleasant meal. Ordered take out, and got the Prime Rib Sandwich, Small Order of Steak Fries, and Mac Salad. The Prime RIb Sandwich offered an okay amount of meat, but it was fatty and flavorful. The Mild BBQ sauce paired fairly well with the sandwich. Star of the meal is the steak fries. Well seasoned, well cooked. The mac salad is mac salad: creamy. Would come back to try some of the other meals.

Had my last visit today. Been here many times before and had amazing steak sandwiches. Taken many…read morefriends/family to have the steak sandwich. Always was amazing, tender, delicious. Today I took my sister to introduce her to the best steak sandwich around. She started eating before me and said it was not that good. I'm looking at her like she's crazy as I put mayo and mustard on my Sammy. I take the first bite and notice this is NOT the flavor that I had before. Added a little salt and pepper thinking that will help. NOPE! Each bite was tough and loaded with gristle or inedible fat or something that I couldn't separate with my teeth. I'm pulling pieces apart and having to eat around the tough meat. I took the sandwich up to the register and asked them if they changed the cut of meat they use. They said no, it's always been either rib eye or NY. Every single one of the many I'd had before were the same. This one was different. Even looked different, as if it had been run through a machine in an attempt to tenderize it. Didn't work! You could see through some parts kind of like the way a knitted scarf would look If you stretched it out and could see the holes in it. Anyway, the guy said, "You must have got a tough cut" or "bad cut". I can't remember exactly the wording. But then he just shrugged me off. No offer to fix the problem. I was hungry, I hadn't had breakfast, and it was obvious the guy didnt care, so I just went back to my table and ate the rest of the bread and fixings while gnawing off any edible meat from my horrible steak. $26 for a sandwich and fries. Not willing to spend that much and hope I get a good cut of meat. I'm done.

Whole Foods has a pretty impressive selection of tall-boy canned local beers available. I wanted…read moreto buy 10 or 11 of them, but as I was picking off individual cans from four and six packs, someone came by and let me know they don't sell the cans individually. So I reaffirmed their statement by asking, "so I have to buy either all 4pk or 6pk, or none of them?", to which they stated "yes." Ok, well I guess I'm not getting anything.... So I did not get any. I don't want to buy over $100 worth of 4pk-beer to try a wide selection lol I want spend 25 bucks . After I checked out with the rest of my groceries, I went to the customer service booth and asked why they did not sell their tall cans individually. I explained the story above, and the guy let me know it was because they did not want to mess up their inventory in the back. I brought up that nearly every other business lets customers buy the cans individually OR in a pack, and the guy again mentioned it was because they did not want their backstock to get messy. That is the most ridiculous answer ever. Either buy all of the beer, or none of the beer to keep the company's backstock leaner? What on earth does that have to do with being a customer? And come on... selling individual cans would not at all impact the backstock whatsoever, if we are being real. Having a few individual cans out would increase sales, not mess up the backstock or inventory... come on. The guy at the customer service booth told me I could place a special order in the back to pick up at a future date if I wanted to buy a bunch of single cans. It was an unrealistic suggestion for something that they had on hand right now, that I wanted to buy right now. I'm not going to go to the back and place a special order, and come back in a week or so to pick up a few cans of beer. It was a bad experience, but it was mostly just stupid and didn't make any sense. And I didn't end up buying anything.
