Lastly, when we were leaving, someone was mopping the walkway and left puddles of water in the walk, which posed a slip hazard for our group of elderly individuals. Instead of taking the concern seriously, she began speaking to Jacob in Spanish and laughing. I then asked Jacob if she understood what I was saying, and she continued giggling. As a customer raising a legitimate sanitation concern, I found her reaction unprofessional and disrespectful. What is most concerning is that this is not the first sanitation-related issue I have experienced at this location. Because of these repeated experiences, I am beginning to question the overall cleanliness standards at this restaurant. I regularly visit other Salata locations and have never encountered these types of concerns, which makes this location stand out for the wrong reasons. Customers should be able to trust that proper hygiene practices are being followed when food is being prepared and served.
