Had a coupon for 1+1 main dish and decided to try it out with my mom. I ate at tgi before in America so I was looking forward to seeing how it is like in Vienna. The restaurant inside is much more spacious and the music was not as loud as in America. I like it better the Vienna way(I don't like loud music). They still kept the signature stained glass and red and white stripes as decorations. All the staff were so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. They all spoke fluent English. There weren't many people at the time we were there so our order came really quick. I had salmon steak and my mom had pasta. My salmon steak was very tender and tasty. I requested a salad instead of mashed potatoes on the side and they happily did it for me. I am quite picky sometimes with my order so I really appreciate it when the restaurant is willing to fulfill my requests. Tap water is free which is rare in Vienna and came in a XL glass. I guess they follow the American way for this ;) The waitress was very professional and asked how our meal was and if everything was alright. I was very satisfied with our meal at tgi and will definitely be going there again!!

My brother was craving for burgers, so we tried this American restaurant... Well, the food was good, the burger quite huge (for the greatest pleasure of my brother) and the staff was friendly enough. The interior decoration is quite funny, very "tourist"-American. But we waited quite a while before getting a table, and once sitted we had to wait again (for ages!) before getting our orders (we got our plates more than an hour after entering the restaurant!). And it is so loud in there that waiting is quite a challenge really. About the food: don't go there if you want a salad. When I ordered one WITHOUT cheese... The waitress tried to convince me to get it WITH cheese. Quote : "why not? it is with feta cheese, not normal cheese..." ?!? Finally she told me that it wasn't possible to get this salad without it! Which made us wonder if their salad are fresh or if everything is pre-prepared? Again, we waited quite a while before getting our plates, but I had to wait double for I had to give my salad back : they "forgot" that I asked it without dressing on it. And apparently, getting a new already-prepared salad takes about half an hour to make... only to get a chicken almost completely carbonated. Plus, the "mango" in the salad was actually only stripes on it, kind of a puree really. :/ My recommendations: - don't order a salad. - actually, don't order anything that is slightly different from the menu - book a table if you plan to go to TGI Fridays on a Friday evening! Or you'll have to wait for a while... - don't be on a rush - don't go there if you have a head ache, for it is very loud in there...

Amazing Food not a healthy one but sometimes you need to enjoy life:)

The staff is very friendly, you wait for your food about 20mins, the food is always very good, their special dish are the jack daniels sparerribs and are just on point:) All i can say is enjoy your meal!

Never had bacon-wrapped potato wedges before. They're delicious!

Small is 100g from Austria, while regular (180g) and the chuck Norris (double 180g and fun name) are Angus from the US... THE US!? Why? Frozen patties aged in a storage container shipped forever... Sound appealing? It makes sense in the US, but not here. I tried the no1 at a Chuck Norris size (for fun) and regretted it after the first bite. I should have tried the 100g Austrian beef as maybe that could have a better taste. What ever happened to grinding your meat, seasoning it, and cooking it properly? Everyone trying to make more money, that's what! This is places adds itself to a middle category between McDonalds/BurgerKing/etc. and the Charlie Ps/saidTheButcherToTheCow/etc... Think it's time for my burger list. Angus was bland and tasted just like patties I bought for group BBQ's sold at Costco in bulk. Not bad, but not good either. Oh and it's reeaaalllyyyyyy overpriced. I would say the most expensive burgers in the city. Aside from the small, that might just be on par. If you have read this far, thanks!

The inside is equally well designed: cow-pattern couches and stylish chairs, nice table design and arrangement as well as a wonderful counter. The tables come with chili, hot sauces and Heinz Ketchup on them. I ordered a Classic Regular Burger with Classic Salted Fries as a side. The price was somewhere around €11 without a drink. I waited for my burger at the counter although I probably could have sat down but I chose to take the burger to the table myself. I took the seat on a well lighted table at the corner of the restaurant. The cow-pattern-pillows were comfortable to sit on. The first look at the Burger was somewhat disappointing. The salad looked sad and the bread unusual. The first bite was even more disappointing. While the meat tasted incredibly great (I really have to emphasize that) the rest of the burger was unspectacular if not boring. Tasty is something different. Trying to figure out what the cooks have messed up I disassembled my burger: meat - very good, salad - not that good, tomatoes and onions - as fresh as they could be and delicious, BBQ sauce - delicious but nearly not existent. I figured that the Burger actually was made up of delicious ingredients but the composition was bad. Let's talk about the fries: hand-cut, goldish and crispy. Extremely salted - too much in my humble opinion. Delicious aside from that. To conclude I'd say that I wouldn't recommend the restaurant at the moment unless you want to stop in for fries.

But if I were ever meeting up with someone to grab a burger, my choice of restaurants would almost certainly be Weinschenke. There is a Weinschenke in the Karmeliter Markt in the Lepoldstadt, but the one I always go to is the main branch right near me in Margareten - on the Franzensgasse. Not only are the regular hamburgers good here, they also have veggie burgers which I really like. Personally I like the vegan burger more than the veggie burger. For starters the tasty seitan patty holds together better when eaten. Both are served on polenta rolls with Erdäpfel chips from the Lobaul. And if you think burgers - beef or veggie - only go with beer, think again. Weinschenke lives up to its name and has a worthy wine selection. The Weinschenke in the 5th District is very popular so be prepared to share a table. It's all part of the atmosphere. Tip: There are a couple of outdoor tables which are great for wine sipping and people watching!

What I ordered: I believe on the menu it was just called the Vienna burger, but it was a tofu schnitzel burger that came w fries and a soda. I just got the cherry coke. The price was around 11€ which isn't bad for the taste and quality of the food. This place does everything right! But thankfully their vegan nuggets are gluten-free so I got their Nugget Salad (which is their soy protein "chicken" nuggets on a garden salad and a garlic sauce). (I would have preferred to have something that was vegan and gluten-free that was NOT fried, but I suppose I should be happy I had something to eat.) And it was tasty! The nuggets weren't dry at all and had a nice texture. There was a nice creamy sauce on the nuggets, and a different light (balsamic olive oil?) dressing for the salad that was also a great combo. I also got a lemonade for my beverage, but it was a carbonated soda, so not really my kind of thing. I should have gotten something else to drink. Would have been nice to have had at least a couple of other gluten-free options to choose from but the Nugget Salad was satisfying. No wifi unfortunately.
