Bad. Just Bad. To start, the service was awful. Our server lacked both personality and care. He forgot to enter our order, waiting to put it in until we asked about our food almost 30 minutes later. Mind you, there was nobody in the restaurant. When everything finally came out, it just got worse. First off, the pasta. The chicken was just weird and the whole plate oily. FYI, it comes with a plain breadstick -- not garlic bread. For the slider wing trio, you could tell it had been sitting in the window. For a WHILE. But, it was a pretty good amount of food. The burger was not the same burger I ordered. I have a gluten intolerance, which I specified to my server, and I order the burger indicated as GS. My burger did come with a GF bun but also with fried onion rings that are not so GF. It, in fact, was not my order. The server looked lost when I told him, him claiming it is what I ordered. To "fix" the issue, he assured us he'd comp it on the bill (he did not). Finally, the salad. Its dressing was just pooled at the bottom and its chicken incredibly salty. Out of the kindness of their hearts, they even gave us extra dressing we didn't even ask for! Even charging us for it! As we looked over the check, our server decided to show his face more. My daughter and I stopped in for dinner. The parking lot was rather empty so I was skeptical. Once inside we were greeted within seconds and seated in the bar area. The host let us know upfront that the server was busy due to minimal staffing but would be with us shortly. We appreciated the heads up but it wasn't needed. When I tell you Simone was quick on her feet she was on it!!! Not only was she quick but she was very polite and attentive. Our food was out quickly and it was delicious. My daughter had a Henny Margarita and I had a rum punch, both packed a punch and we were not disappointed. My daughter ordered a salad and I ordered the Jack Daniel's burger. The appetizer sampler was kinda gross to be honest, that was a waste of $18. It was nibbled on so i didnt want to complain but only 10% of it was actually eaten, i had our waitress take it away. My salad was actually fantastic until I saw the hair, lol Price point: 4 stars: it's a decent value. You can get a combo meal including a drink for $9.99. The salads are $15. The specialty burgers are $15-$18. They do have a pick 3 for a dinner option for $23. Cleanliness: 4 stars. I went here with my family and everything seemed fine we got seated pretty quick (most likely due to the empty parking lot) we sat down got our drink ordered and then it was like they forgot us. Let's change it up on this one...negative/need to improve on critique first. Music choice...needs to improve. I felt awkward for the kids in the restaurant when some of the very mature music played. Like Cardi. Now mind you they even played some Stevie Wonder...but just word of caution. I guess a good fix would be to ask for the music to be changed. Because you guys know I'm greedy. I ordered everything at once. And my waitstaff was patient, knowledgeable checked on us. I ordered the mango Rita and impossible burger in a lettuce wrap instead of the bun. We went here as a group of 6 for lunch and a preteen birthday on a Saturday. The wait was a quick 30 minutes if not shorter. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. I haven't been to a TGI Friday since afterwork happy hours at the bar in NYC so I didn't know what to expect. But it was a very nice family environment during these COVID times. Social distancing was enforced with tables far from each other, masks until you reach your table, and the walkway traffic was controlled by staff. The menus were also paper and thrown away after use. There's lots for the adult and child palate on the menu and all of us were happy. The waitress even brought out a birthday slice for my niece although they couldn't gather to sing her Happy Birthday. Don't waste your time making a reservation; I was rudely met at the door after stating we had reservations for 2:15. "We don't do reservations" is what I was told. She proceeded to take my name and number and looked at me as if we were a burden and told us they'd call when they're ready for us. Service was extremely slow. There were plenty of tables open, But there was not enough servers. So the wait time was long, and the server for our section had to work extra hard. The service was okay, but could have been better. I ordered a steak well done with broccoli and mashed potatoes which was mediocre at best. The broccoli was definitely salty and had way too much pepper. I couldn't even enjoy it. also, they used plastic utensils which is fine, but how do you expect to cut a steak with a plastic knife...Ughhhh!! Definitely, gave one star for not paying attention to detail.. My boyfriend had the ribs with fries and broccoli which had the same salt n' pepper (remix) to it.. I came here for a quick dinner at the bar but realized I maybe should have ordered To-Go, unfortunately the service was a bit slow and relaxed. The bartender kept disappearing & forgetting things that I asked her. There were many times where I witnessed her socializing with coworkers and taking an extremely long time to service guests. It honestly didn't make for the best experience. My food came out quickly once I was finally able to order which tells me the kitchen staff moves pretty fast. My god sister ordered a salmon, mashed potatoes, and jasmine rice the salmon has hair in it So we requested that we change the meal to the lunch portion size Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta the manager, Arnez said that they only serve that in one size so we ask if it can be discounted because her salmon meal has hair in it so she can no longer eat that and now she would have to wait for a whole entire meal to be made. This TGIF Fridays location is awesome. There is plenty of parking and if the parking lot gets full you can park in a neighboring lot. On the weekends Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant tends to get crowded. There are 2 levels with a bar on each. I like coming to Friday's for their all day happy hour drinks. The prices are excellent and it's quality alcohol. My favorite drink is the Titos Strawberry Mule, the presentation is nice and it taste delicious. The customer service here is good whether you are sitting at a table or at the bar the experience for me has been consistent. Since I'm a pescatarian my favorite dish is the Whiskey- Glazed Shrimp which comes with fries. It's not the healthiest dish on the menu but it is scrumptious every time. I also enjoy the Grilled Salmon on days when i want something I wont regret eating. TGIF Fridays is a nice spot to bring the entire family, meet up with friends or even a nice casual date. We arrived at 5:00. The greeter was extremely friendly. Our waiter was excellent, friendly, attentive and He makes a majito drink. Brandon greeted us with a warm and friendly smilt not to mention a great personality. "Q" was fantastic with recommendations from the menu. When I'm back in the area I'll definitely be returning. Let me begin saying that I HATE going into establishments around the Stonecrest/Lithonia area. If I could describe this location in 3 words it would be "Hood as f**k". My family was looking for a decent restaurant to have dinner on a Sunday and we settled on this place. We made a horrible decision. We were irritated the moment we walked in. I'll go into detail below. FOOD: Wish I could tell you, but we didn't actually get a chance to eat at the venue because it took so long to come out we just got it togo. I think I remember getting appetizers. They were good, but never got a chance to try the food at the actual restaurant. SERVICE: I must say our actual server was decent. She was trying her best given the crappy management and wait time. When we walked in the music was blasting. I felt like I walked into a club. The music was so loud that we had to scream to hear one another. Don't ask me how servers were able to accurately hear orders. We asked MULTIPLE times if they could turn it down from the ridiculous level. Each time they said they would tell the manager yet nothing happened. We then asked to speak to the manager. He told us he would get it turned down. 20 minutes later, nothing. We asked the manager again and he explained that he was on top of it. Another 20 minutes went past and we're still screaming at each other. At this point we decided to take our food to-go and eat it at home. ATMOSPHERE: Despite the crappy management and loud music, it was was a nice restaurant on the inside. PARKING: Parking was packed, but they had enough spaces for their patrons. You came and greeted me with an attitude and walked away like I was bothering you. Happy hour/all day deals/menus need to be presented upon arrival. I literally saw a reduced menu out the corner of my eye.Thanks for taking appetizer (not very good) off the check. But note to DeAndre: be sure to tell patrons about deals and all day menus. Maaaan I'm writing this review bc most recently I encountered Lynn who is a seasoned bartender at this location who sat up and lied in my face about happy hour, over charged me and had the nerve to cop an attitude with me bc I'm asking for clarity. This lady lied about happy hour specials for whatever reason and wanted to go back and forth with me over some damn queso dip. Luckily I'm cool with most of the bartenders up there so yes i will return but im still annoyed with the service I received from her! Lynn if you feel some way about not making money on happy hour then maybe you should find another gig where happy hour isnt offered all day. Silly girl.
