I gave TGH insurance a 4-star review on google 9 months ago. However, after the latest renewal I will have to change it to 1 star (wish it could be zero). On Oct 4th I requested them to shop my home renewal and add auto insurance to the search. I clearly stated the expiration dates of each policy (Auto expires on 10/15 and Home on 10/21). Once I received several quotes (which took allot of effort on my part) I let them know who I wanted to go with for each policy. Two days before my auto expires TGH stated the quote for auto was provided without all the reports run so the price that was quoted is not valid and I should probably just stay with my current provider. So, they gave me a quote without running all reports?
Now for the home insurance. I completed all the requested items on 10/12. I then had to keep emailing them to find out what was the status of my insurance was but very little response. I kept waiting for the paperwork and/or charges to my card for the new insurance. On 10/25 I asked the representative Do I have insurance on my home. I received no response from her only she will need to get with the higher ups. The next day when I got her on the phone, I asked again do I have insurance she again did not answer. I said I only want to hear a yes or no. Do I have insurance? To which she replied no. She then stated she had spoken with Kim (the higher up) regarding my home insurance and the solution offered was go with the original renewal quote. I stated that I now feel like I am backed into a corner and have very little choices, so I went with the original company which was significantly higher than the quote offered.
I sent an email to Kim (who is listed as the founder on their website) outlining the timeframe and stated I was looking forward to her response. It has been over two weeks and I have no response from them, so I am posing this review. read more
