TGF Flowers - Red roses and baby's breath arrangement - Florists Near Me - Houston, Texas

First, the flowers were beyond fabulous! Absolutely worth the price. I ordered chocolate with the flowers and they forgot to send the chocolate to the recipient. I called them and they went BEYOND to make it right. They sent the recipient the chocolate and another small flower arrangement because they forgot. Highly recommend this flower shop! read more

Neat little shop tucked in the heart of an entire neighborhood under remodel. The owner was super attentive and answered my questions. Premade arrangements were beautiful and decently priced. My arrangement was crated safely into a make shift box and was carried out and placed in my car. Loved the entire experience, and the gorgeous arrangement I picked out. The owner repeated a few times how I had made a wonderful selection and that I was making someone very happy. So sweet, little did he know the flowers were in honor of my deceased daughter on her birthday. The pride he took in his craftsmanship was self evident. Definitely returning here! Extremely happy to support local shops such as this one! Happy Heavenly Birthday Gisselle read more

We found TGF flowers while shopping around for centerpieces for my daughter's wedding. They had the best arrangements for the best price. We ordered 13 centerpieces and were thrilled the day we picked them up. They were perfect. TGF packed them neatly in boxes and loaded them in our cars. They were professional and so friendly. They have pride in their work and it shows. We couldn't be more pleased and we will be back! read more

Been coming to this florist for over 4 years. They're super nice and helpful on selection of what arrangements I needed. Not to mention, best price around town! You get more bang for your bucks! Hands down my favorite florist. read more

I don't usually give reviews on the World Wide Web of a place I have only been to once, but I was impressed with the tremendous value and the beautiful arrangement I got at TGF Flowers. I came here on a whim, looking for florists in my neighborhood and this place popped up. It is just a few short blocks from my light rail stop, HTC and Ensemble Theater, and open late enough to stop by after work. I said I wanted a loose bouquet, spending around $25-30, and my SO likes orange, pink, and yellow. I relayed that info and received a stunning bouquet for $25 and walked 7 blocks home, getting some random cat calling that I was going to make someone happy or that I must have messed up. The bouquet definitely impressed. I will be back and you should to, support a local florist, and stop by in person for a beautiful arrangement at a great value. read more

TGF Flowers - Stop by in person and get a great deal on a custom bouquet. I never should have told my SO how much I actually spent on this. - Florists Near Me - Houston, Texas

I don't think My Heman is a flowers kinda guy, but it was Valentine's Day and I wanted to do something special. As I was driving back to his apartment from lunch at the Galleria I noticed this shack across the street from his building. I guess shack isn't the best term. I'm just not sure how else to describe a hollowed out garage surrounded by a barbed wire topped chain link fence. Anyway... I'm all for supporting local businesses, so I stopped in and started to browse. I was immediately approached by a teenage girl who offered to help me. I told her I wanted to buy my boyfriend some flowers and she pointed out about a dozen pre-made arrangements with red roses. She also showed me an entire wall of pre-made multi-flower arrangements. I could take my pick for $65. The price was high, but I knew it was a busy time for them and prices would be higher. I didn't know what I wanted to get and I left to ask My Heman's sister for advice. I told them I'd be back and someone else came up and offered me a $10 discount. Okie okie. I still wanted think about it and come back. The lady who offered the first discount walked out to my car as I was leaving to offer me an even better deal. Um... okay?? I guess they knew their arrangements were overpriced. I never said anything and that wasn't the reason I didn't buy something immediately. I came back an hour or so later for a mixed floral arrangement. When it was all said and done it was only $40, which was so much of a discount the guy ringing me up didn't believe me and had to ask for verification. Most of the arrangements had at least one or two flowers with noticeable damage, so I think they could do more to improve the quality. I have no idea how long the flowers lasted. They were still pretty when I left the next day. read more

This is a family business with a great selection of flowers, superior customer service, and great prices. Highly recommend this shop. Check it out when you want to gift flowers superior to the ones at the grocery store. read more

TGF is open saturdays and sundays - THAT is the reason I shop there. Saturdays and Sundays are event days so I can't figure out why he's the only game in town open when people need flowers. PLUS - prices were great and his flowers are fresh. He did a couple of arrangements for us and we gave him creative license - they were GREAT! read more

This is more of a best kept secret kind of place. The prices are high because they're on a haggling business model, the good flowers are in the back, and you have to feel comfortable telling them what you want and for how much. We have always walked off with a steal and zero serious quality problems. Haggling isn't for everyone and I can see where the "this place is so overpriced" reviews are coming from. I say give it a shot and you usually walk away with a bargain when compared to local HEB flower departments and so forth. Good tip is to come late in the day. They'll be more willing to slash prices for flowers that have been there a little too long. read more

I needed some flowers asap and this wonderful place had so many beautiful flowers to show and the owners are the kindest people you will ever meet. I highly suggest that if you are in this area for flowers that you go to this exact location read more

Was here for a span of 30 minutes picking up an order for someone and actually there was a steady stream of regulars picking up all kinds of things. The order I picked up was 40 stems - 20 Casablanca lilies and 20 stargazer lilies. They were gorgeous! Don't let the sad looking plants out front frighten you [like they did me at first], the good stuff is in the back. read more

The BEST flowers I have ever seen!! The service was amazing as well. They are the most humble, hard-working, sweetest people you will ever meet!! I did not spend nearly as much as I do when I shop at HEB for flowers!! This is my new go-to place!! read more

I order a casket fray for my mother's funeral. The flowers were beautiful I was not disappointed. Having said that I think their website needs to be a little more customer friendly. I choose the funeral home from a dropdown they had a day before the delivery I spoke with a lady who wanted to confirm the correct address where the flowers would go. The next day she calls me saying their delivery driver was confused because the address was a house after I had confirmed with the same person the funeral home's name, I asked her if she needed the address to the funeral home she said no we have it. Calls again saying the same starts arguing with me that I had given them the home address and not the funeral home. She was rude and had zero customer service experience, did not get her name unfortunately she had a foreign accent and was very unprofessional. Hopefully if they read this review they will have someone else take care of the customers on the phone, their flower arrangements are beautiful but their customer service might turn off customers to go back to them or not order from them again. I want to support local businesses but I also don't want to deal with angry rude ignorant people. The 2 stars are based on bad customer service experience not their work quality. read more

Placed online order for a congrats new baby flowers and got confirmation, with a $10 service fee included and tax. Specified address for delivery which is 10 min away from florist. 30 min later order was cancelled, and when I called they said they pay their delivery driver $15 and would have to add it on. They also said it was too far away for normal charges, and when I told them Its only 10 min away, he said you can get an uber to pick it up then. Extremely rude. He also said the driver had left for the day, and this was at 3:30 pm. I mean, if you aren't able to deliver, why put it as an option online?? Also, why not call the customer and let them know rather than just cancel the order? Then when I said I'm sorry but Im going to write a negative review of my experience, he cussed at me, and told me that's for people who have no life. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! read more

I rarely write reviews however this one is an exception. I found this florist through a friend's referral. They offered great customer service and great quality flowers. The flower was top of the line and looked magnificent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to important events or looking to gift to special someone. The roses I bought were pristine and beautiful. It was a significant upgrade in comparison to the last florist I went to. Seriously, if you are going to an important event or getting flowers for someone important.... this is definitely the place to go! read more

Always our go-to for arrangements but this time a little disappointed. After almost an hour drive I arrived to my order being lost and obviously not ready. Lady in the shop was very nice and was able to accommodate me quickly with exactly what I ordered, THANK GOD! Order was placed in person about a month ago so I'd suggest following up a few days before your order pick up date to be sure they have your order ready when expected. read more

My favorite flower shop! The service is great and their flowers are amazing! Definitely recommend TGF Flowers!

Breathtaking experience. After exiting this amazing establishment, I not only felt like I've reached enlightenment and a connection with the great and mighty lord. But I also felt like I came to a great conclusion. The great god must have sent his biblical covenant not just to tell the people of the world his word, but to also bless this shop. As soon as you make your first step into TGF flowers, you are hit by a divine spiritual presence that couldn't be matched by anywhere else but a mosque. This shop could be described in no other way but a mosque comprised of individually blessed flowers. Each one telling stories of God and his creations. Every flower sacrificed in this "mosque" of a shop is a blessing to god himself. Think twice before arguing of the price. 4 Dorito™ bags out of 4 Wud com' back 11/10 read more

Absolutely the worst service possible. My mother and I were quickly shot down after requesting information for flowers for my wedding in February. I was told no one in town would help me because it was near Valentines day weekend. The gentleman did not even offer to answer my questions as we were being talked over and shut down. I was talked down to and didn't have a chance to voice my opinion. I have never felt so mistreated. I would HIGHLY discourage anyone from stopping by. read more

Amazing customer service! Liz was so helpful and we love the owners! The flowers are always beautiful!

NEVER AGAIN!!! I ordered on line for a total of $70.94. I get a call after 6:30 pm the next day telling me I had to pay the "delivery driver" $15 to have my order delivered and that I was getting a good deal because it's usually $30!!! What????? What kind of florist doesn't have the delivery fee included??? This place is shady as they come, and I encourage NO ONE to buy from these crooks!! If I had not already paid the $70.94 on line the night before, I sure as heck would have cancelled the order. They weren't about to refund my money!! What a joke this place is!!!! read more

My husband always buys me flowers from this place. They are always fresh and remain fresh for a long time. Very convenient location.

This place was not that nice. Very limited in thier selection and the prices where way to high. I ended up going up the road and finding the same flowers for half the price. I would not recommend this place. read more

I'm not one to leave reviews especially a bad review, however, this company has not only disappointed me once, but pretty much every time my husband gets a delivery from them. It's 2:00 pm Valentines Day and the driver actually calls me to ask me for directions on how to get to my office, really?!?!?! It seems every time I get a delivery from them they have a few damaged flowers. I am too nice to let my husband know about this place and there bad service only because my husband isn't a hearts and flowers type of guy, but if this is the type of service he's paying for I rather not get anything delivered. He pays way to much money for LATE and DAMAGED flowers!! read more

Worst customer service ever!!! The owner was rude and would not honor the price quoted over the phone. He yelled at the lady working with me and told me I would pay the additional $26. I left and will not return. read more

This was by far the worst flower shop in the history of flower shops. Aside from a small selection composed of poor quality flowers, the service was horrendous. The man overcharged me by double, told me to put 7-UP in my roses because flower food is expensive so the shop doesn't carry any and charged me extra for baby breath and ribbon. All of these "add ons" come complimentary with flowers purchased from a grocery store let alone a specialty flower shop. I would not recommend this place at all. read more
