Neat little shop tucked in the heart of an entire neighborhood under remodel. The owner was super attentive and answered my questions. Premade arrangements were beautiful and decently priced. My arrangement was crated safely into a make shift box and was carried out and placed in my car. Loved the entire experience, and the gorgeous arrangement I picked out. The owner repeated a few times how I had made a wonderful selection and that I was making someone very happy. So sweet, little did he know the flowers were in honor of my deceased daughter on her birthday. The pride he took in his craftsmanship was self evident. Definitely returning here! I came here on a whim, looking for florists in my neighborhood and this place popped up. It is just a few short blocks from my light rail stop, HTC and Ensemble Theater, and open late enough to stop by after work. I said I wanted a loose bouquet, spending around $25-30, and my SO likes orange, pink, and yellow. I relayed that info and received a stunning bouquet for $25 and walked 7 blocks home, getting some random cat calling that I was going to make someone happy or that I must have messed up. I don't think My Heman is a flowers kinda guy, but it was Valentine's Day and I wanted to do something special. As I was driving back to his apartment from lunch at the Galleria I noticed this shack across the street from his building. I guess shack isn't the best term. I'm just not sure how else to describe a hollowed out garage surrounded by a barbed wire topped chain link fence. Anyway... I'm all for supporting local businesses, so I stopped in and started to browse. I was immediately approached by a teenage girl who offered to help me. I told her I wanted to buy my boyfriend some flowers and she pointed out about a dozen pre-made arrangements with red roses. She also showed me an entire wall of pre-made multi-flower arrangements. I could take my pick for $65. The price was high, but I knew it was a busy time for them and prices would be higher. I didn't know what I wanted to get and I left to ask My Heman's sister for advice. I told them I'd be back and someone else came up and offered me a $10 discount. Okie okie. I still wanted think about it and come back. The lady who offered the first discount walked out to my car as I was leaving to offer me an even better deal. Um... okay?? I guess they knew their arrangements were overpriced. I never said anything and that wasn't the reason I didn't buy something immediately. I came back an hour or so later for a mixed floral arrangement. When it was all said and done it was only $40, which was so much of a discount the guy ringing me up didn't believe me and had to ask for verification. Most of the arrangements had at least one or two flowers with noticeable damage, so I think they could do more to improve the quality. I have no idea how long the flowers lasted. I order a casket fray for my mother's funeral. The flowers were beautiful I was not disappointed. Having said that I think their website needs to be a little more customer friendly. I choose the funeral home from a dropdown they had a day before the delivery I spoke with a lady who wanted to confirm the correct address where the flowers would go. The next day she calls me saying their delivery driver was confused because the address was a house after I had confirmed with the same person the funeral home's name, I asked her if she needed the address to the funeral home she said no we have it. Calls again saying the same starts arguing with me that I had given them the home address and not the funeral home. She was rude and had zero customer service experience, did not get her name unfortunately she had a foreign accent and was very unprofessional. Hopefully if they read this review they will have someone else take care of the customers on the phone, their flower arrangements are beautiful but their customer service might turn off customers to go back to them or not order from them again. I want to support local businesses but I also don't want to deal with angry rude ignorant people. The 2 stars are based on bad customer service experience not their work quality. read more

This is more of a best kept secret kind of place. The prices are high because they're on a haggling business model, the good flowers are in the back, and you have to feel comfortable telling them what you want and for how much. We have always walked off with a steal and zero serious quality problems. Haggling isn't for everyone and I can see where the "this place is so overpriced" reviews are coming from. I say give it a shot and you usually walk away with a bargain when compared to local HEB flower departments and so forth. Good tip is to come late in the day. They'll be more willing to slash prices for flowers that have been there a little too long. read more

The order I picked up was 40 stems - 20 Casablanca lilies and 20 stargazer lilies. They were gorgeous! Specified address for delivery which is 10 min away from florist. 30 min later order was cancelled, and when I called they said they pay their delivery driver $15 and would have to add it on. They also said it was too far away for normal charges, and when I told them Its only 10 min away, he said you can get an uber to pick it up then. Extremely rude. He also said the driver had left for the day, and this was at 3:30 pm. I mean, if you aren't able to deliver, why put it as an option online?? Also, why not call the customer and let them know rather than just cancel the order? The flower was top of the line and looked magnificent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to important events or looking to gift to special someone. It's 2:00 pm Valentines Day and the driver actually calls me to ask me for directions on how to get to my office, really?!?!?! I am too nice to let my husband know about this place and there bad service only because my husband isn't a hearts and flowers type of guy, but if this is the type of service he's paying for I rather not get anything delivered. This was by far the worst flower shop in the history of flower shops. Aside from a small selection composed of poor quality flowers, the service was horrendous. The man overcharged me by double, told me to put 7-UP in my roses because flower food is expensive so the shop doesn't carry any and charged me extra for baby breath and ribbon. All of these "add ons" come complimentary with flowers purchased from a grocery store let alone a specialty flower shop. I would not recommend this place at all. read more
